They look like they are almost done mabey they are a 10 weeks strain. Just start to flush with plain water and flush for atleast 10 days
OK. I will talk to my other half about that. I agree.

Durring the Flush, do buds tend to swell or shrink?

Cheers!

Check your trichomes, we can't see them under a loop. Wait until they are atleast all cloudy before you flush. Depending on effect, pull them when they have enough amber on them.
They will be using up stored nutes during the flush and they will swell

Thank you TribalSeeds

What if not all the buds are ripe yet? Is it possible to flush, then cut the colas, then re-feed lightly for a week and then harvest the rest later or something?

How can i get max yield out of these plants if not all the buds are fully developed?

When you think they are ready to flush, let them go another week or two. If there are buds that still don't look ready after flushing, you can let those go longer than two weeks. There's nothing wrong with a 3 week flush, though I think it can be done in a week.
When you start flushing you will trigger hormones that tell the plant that the end is near. I wouldn't bother trying to feed them after that.
1/2 - 2 tbl spn of molases per gal. Too much mg is bad for taste at the end. I wouldn't use much if you plan to flush through with it.

Hiya budelight! My sogouda is a 10 week strain. I did this run in 2 gal pots of supersoil and i"m pretty sure they got a solid 2 1/2 weeks of flush. They took 12 weeks to finish. Some of the strains I have run are ready as advertised like AK47 at 56 days, was perfect, but I don't take them until they look done. the sogouda seemed to take forever but all of a sudden... bam, they were done.

bud e cut yer cola's when you feel they are done.......leave the budlets and continue with water only.......the smaller underdeveloped buds will swell and finish........no need to add more food if you have any green in yer leaves plenty stored up......keep flushing and the budlets will swell up and finish off....

Here's my standard mantra on flushing....

If a plant is finishing on her own in the proper time frame, I don't bother to flush it.

If she seems to be lagging behind a bit, and I need to expedite the final week or two of gland production and color change, I'll move her over to H2O only with no nutes.

Here's the reasoning.....
When a plant is in the last stages of flowering, one of it's natural processes is to stop the uptake of nutrients. This change in chemistry signals the plant to complete it's seeding process. While most of our plants are not allowed to produce seeds, the same signal tells the plant to stop actively producing THC within it's glands. As a result the existing glands start to decay and turn amber. Yes, those amber trichs we all so seek are in fact decayed. By flushing all available nutrients, the plant is fooled into “thinking” its in the last stage of life. As such, you force the plant into it's final phase and can expedite the process of changing clear trichs to a rich brown hue. Of course, not everyone desires amber. Those that desire less of a narcotic couch-lock high will want a higher percentage of clear glands.

Likely doesn't directly answer your question, but maybe offer up a drop of food for thought.

^ 1 and 1/2 to 2 weeks before harvest

Hey budelight, I just had a look at your thread, nice plants I'll read it closer later. In my opinion I'd say those buds don't look like they'll be ready to harvest for at least two weeks so I'd wait. I'm doing the same with a few of mine, I'll take a few shots of one tomorrow and we can compare. It looks like I'll harvest 3 now, 4 in a week or so and the last 4 in 2-3wks? I got a nice selection.

THANK YOU ALL!

I think they are not going to really get much bigger. some of the photos show the buds having all red hairs. it's been what, nearly 65+ days, they should be coming along by now....
as others have said, check out the trichomes under a mini scope. they sell em at radio shack for 10 bucks... and see what they look like. mine are all cloudy right now, and almost none amber.. but the buds have crowned quite a bit, and i don't like when they overcrown and pull apart.. if your trichs have amber in there, them its time NOW..

if you have clones lined up, i would start putting the effort into the new batch and begin the end cycles on this one... flush em for 3 days and chop after a dark period.
