Dude, You're screwed for at least 6 months to a year... I'd abandon growing for at LEAST that long, better to have to buy bud, than not smoke bud at all sittin' in prison. Convert your grow over to house plants or veggies or something... that way if they do bust in, well... They will have some explaining to do... I grow veggies... It's fun.
Listen man first thing in the morning goto home depot or wherever and buy some tomato plants and get them under a light. Buy them cash and lose the receipt.

If everything is taken down and moved away whats the problem? I never heard of anyone being busted because they used to grow. Cops come busting in with a warrant you laugh and tell them they fucked up, and better luck next time.

ok, to start off, i've been ridiculously paranoid/sketched out recently, so this may be a part of that..
i got my gas shutoff last week on friday, so i had to have them come reconnect it today. i was at work when they were supposed to come, but i told my gf, "whatever you do, dont let those fuckers in our house while i'm not here" and she goes "yeah yeah, sure, whatever"..
..as i'm leaving for work, some "electrician" from the "electric company" parks in front of my house, gets out, and starts tinkering with the meters and shit outside of my house... i get outside and am like "dude what the fuck are you doing?" thinking he's disconnecting my power or some shit... he goes, "oh well i'm opening this box up for a rewire, it looks as if your landlord requested it"... so i go to my landlord's house and wake him up and shit...he didn't request shit
anyway, sometime in the middle of the day, i check my phone during lunch or whatever. i had gotten over FIFTY missed calls from my girl... so i call her up, she's freaking out and saying that we're going to get busted and all this nonsense...i'm like wtf! i tell my boss that i have to go home...
i get home, she says that she let the guy in, he started moseying around my veg room and that his little gas meter was going off because of "fertilizer or open gas cans", and that he was getting sketchy and she asked them to leave. He said we'd have to reschedule because "our basement was too dirty" lol..
anyway i came down, moved the plants, took down the lights, and now i'm just sitting here wondering what to do next, if anything...
advice? much appreciated

Now the electrician would make me wonder, like does the landlord get the electric bill or maybe a copy and he did actually send the electrician? Or were they checking to see if you were stealing electricity?
I think the landlord can legally come into your place with prior notice in a lot of places, and in an emergency he can just knock and open the door. You may be able to buy a place of your own someday... It's not as hard as you may think.
Do you mean are you going to get raided and searched, because it seems to me you've already taken care of the getting arrested part. At this point it might be better if they did the search. I don't have the vocabulary to relate how annoying I found it when I have sanitized and nothing further came from it. But that's just emotion speaking, in my intelligent mind I know for a fact I did the right thing every time I did end up sanitizing.

wow thanks for all the responses guys! there's a lot of things i have something to say about, but this one stuck out the most: this was my main argument, along with the fact that the ONLY thing i said was "do not let anyone in the house when i'm gone"...
but like everyone said, let this "raid" happen all they want... all they'll find is some lights in boxes, maybe a few dead leaves. and i also explained to her that, YES, electric/water/gas companies DO work with leo and stuff.
we had a long argument, and in the end i'm pretty sure she just shrugged me off...so yeah i wont be growing here any time soon
this isn't the first breach of security that i've had because of her...(i come home from work and there are 3 other moms in my house along with like 7 other kids, running around, GOING DOWNSTAIRS TO THE BATHROOM, opening and closing doors, etc etc... and the worst part is, she honestly didn't see anything wrong with it! but yeah, like i said, go ahead and bust in, police! all you're going to do is scare my wife and kids

You are NEVER expected to let a man into your home when your husband or boyfriend is not home, period.
