They got a much larger dose of love today. Plenty of runoff from the bottom of the pots. I think I got the pH much closer today, but only time will tell if the girls liked what they got. Thanks for all the help guys, pictures to come in a couple days when some change happens

So this girl is having an issue with the new growth. Ideas of what is up.

Looks like a nutrient issue. Could be ph or just not enough. What exactly is your current feeding program?

Ok so i was feeding the 3 girls a gal on water with HG coco A&B 6ml, 1 tsp calmag, 1/2 scoop GW myco and silica. I have been feeding every 3 days but noticed the Super Soug OG was always drying out. I gave her an extra L with the correct dosage of nutes. I feel like I am getting the pH around 6.0, should i go lower?

The super sour og is the one in the pics? How are the other 2?

If she is always drying out that could be your issue right there. Not supposed to let coco dry out at all. She needs to drink more often.

You said you 'feel' like your ph is at 6.0. If you don't know what your ph is, that is an issue. You need to be certain what your ph is. Use your strips or get a ph meter. You can get a cheap one on ebay for 20 or 30 bucks I'm sure. I usually aim for 5.8 ph.

Scrappy, I stopped being a cheap ass and ordered a ph and tds meter. Actually got great deals on both and will have them in a couple days.
I know I am not supposed to let the coco dry out, so should I go for more frequent smaller feedings, or larger and less frequent?

If looking at the picture with all 3 ladies:
Left one is Dream Queen
Right one is Super Sour OG
Front one is Harlequin

The Super Sour has been giving me the most problems, the other two seem to like what I feed them

If you have the time I would definitely go for more frequent smaller feedings. Every time you add water/food there is an air exchange and your roots get an extra boost of oxygen.

If the other 2 are doing good then you might consider just bumping up the food a little on your super sour. She might just be a little hungry.

When you get your tds meter I'd say around 600 ppm's would be good judging by their size.

got the Tds meter. My roommate was mentioning something about the EC conversion to get the correct ppm....not entirely sure what he means, maybe you do??

In any case, hopefully with the two meters the super sour will bounce back. only time will tell

Does your meter have a ppm reading? If so then that's all you need. EC is just another way of measuring it. EC can be converted to PPM by multiplying by 500. PPM can be converted to EC by dividing by 500.

So here goes the feeding. The ppm was 795 and pH 5.8, ppm a little high because they havent been fed in a while, since i was waiting to get the ph exactly right. Is that too high of ppm? I heard 600-800 was good, pics up soon when they respond to the feeding

Was just handed down Top booster as well as Shooting Powder. On the feed schedule given to me by HG it says not to use the two in conjunction with each other. Which one would be more beneficial to my ladies?

I have heard about both light cycles for veg. Everyone has their pros and cons for each. My roommates want me to 24 hours cycle, but i guess im trying to save a little energy by shutting it down at night. ha

like u said first grow is scary.

not only save some lekki, but its also proven that 20/4 is the best veg scedule for mj, they do need a rest!!
also give them some foliar sprays every day... 1.8 EC min - 2.2 max at this stage ph +/- 6.5 that will clear everything up
peace

Awesome bro congrats on the recovery! They're looking real nice.

As far as your other 2 H&G products, I can't really comment. I don't use either of them.
