got a lil sample of another person in town with a co2 setup.
Hopefully will get to take a look at his setup and be able to share some more info.

Cool! How is the taste and effect vis a vis BHO, QWET, or QWISO?

it has some amazing flavor, and is surprisingly smooth for looking as it does.

I would almost compare it more to a semi wet/squidgy bubblehash then an oil almost. The effect is great and besides its being tough to handle really seems like a pretty nice product.

that container looks like a pain in da arse

hmmmmmmm......
Why would someone go through all the trouble of c02 extraction and not purge not purge the moisture out?

is it floral, hashy, fruity, skunk? strain? effects...energizing, thought provoking, couch lock, you know? tell us more. not meaning to be pushy, just interested.

sorry I don't have any more info currently,
It was more floral/skunkish. It hard pretty hard with some strong effects around the forehead. Akin to really fine bubble really.
I don't know the strain.
I am trying to get in touch with the guy that made it to get more info and hopefully see his setup.

no I had co2 oil.

This wasn't purchased but given to me by someone in the industry....

same, ive been gifted co2, oxygen, and nitrogen oil. never though any of them to be something else than bho with maybe a iso wash

everytime you ask some one about the setup, its either

1. we dont talk about the setup, top secret
2. my homeboy does all the work, i dont really know how it works
3. complicated process, i cant really explain it man sorry
4. some crazy ass psuedo-scientific explanation straight out of star trek that makes no sense
to anyone with a minor background in science

Im thinking you can have an open system (far more practical), with the CO2 going towards your grow room, or greenhouse. Anyways, I am thinking CO2 is mostly bull and unnecessary and oxygen and nitrogen are absolute bs made up by the same people who think 9-11 was an inside job.

co2 is used to make a lot of extracts

a few of my friends where commenting on how the co2 oil was very similar to co2 kava paste in texture and color

The issue becomes in getting proper machinery then learning how to run it. Each strain i'm sure has different method of extraction. So its not just get a 250k machine and start producing oil.

The one company I know that makes a lot of co2 oil products has invested a few million into their setup so far.

i have half a dozen extracts in front of me, I can tell you buy looking at them how most of them where made and what solvents where used. Most of them are butane oils. The above is nothing like any bho i have ever encountered. And very similar to the other known co2 oil I have had.

and i will ask if i can get the numbers on this stuff. But co2 oils are about 40% thc. and am pretty sure this was the same.....

Can you dab it on a nail/pad? 40% seems kinda low to me, but im not to familair with the co2 process. I was thinking it would be more like bho in the 60-70 range.

its comparable to a low quality bho in a lot of aspects except its much much smoother.

i think it has a lot to do with the extraction process. but co2 concretes of any sort seem to have less purity but higher concentrations of aromatics.

And a dry ice shake looks like kif.
And butane is not orange.

The above is obviously some sort of prolonged solvent extraction. I'll let the rest of you argue about what its not. :tiphat:
