on two occasions i smoked some very kush looking pheno of Conkusion from MedMan.
was chillin w DMT and had a few of his flavors at the time.
long resinous silvery calyxes, made me sneeze. for me that sharp nose tickle is a giveaway for high thc strains.

first smoke i was amazed at the infinite ceiling, the strong soaring high and the complete lack of paranoia that i usually associate with that sort of smoke.
second time was a month or so later...i had played the strain up so much in my mind that i thought it wouldnt live up to a second smoke. was completely floored again.

anyhoo, got some beans, and have a dozen Conkushion females in veg now, all marked A, B,C,D... so i am hoping to find that pheno. just a few more months to go!

Firstly, the question is broad...by what criteria are you going by when you ask us to nominate the "best" 3 strains?? Best is one of those pesky subjective terms...are you wanting opinion by flavour, smoothness, potency, the type of high or something else?

Secondly, does it matter where we sample the strain from? ie. whether the samples were grown with any comparable consistency, considering that smoking experiences can be erratic, from all over the place and so there is hardly a consistent basiis for the experiences reflecting accurately on the strains always.

I'm not trying to dent the concept of the importance of genetics but just trying to figure how I'd answer this question...

Holy cow, dude. Just tell us which are your three favorite strains and be done with it. You're way over-analyzing the question. It's pretty simple: Which three strains do YOU find to be the best in your opinion. The OP didn't ask for the best strains in general, just the best strains according to you, whatever the hell that means.

i used to hate La con, then i let the cut go and now i cant find comparable indy smoke. Chem D is strong but not like this cut of LA con strong. I think Chem D has more a blended indica/sat high

The best I've smoked was a strain called Elly Mae from the mid '90's in Fl.. I believe it to be mid '90's NL/HZ... One hit and zoom you're off, flavor made the mouth water and lingered.. It was heavily hoarded by the grower, a retired nurse.. She charged $150/q and $500/oz.. If you found a seed and brought it to her she would give you $500 or an oz.. This was before I started growing..
