Just keep pullin all those fans that have stems off the main cola`s/limbs till they`re all gone except for the sugar leaves extending out from the colas/nuggage.....

With 3 weeks left they`ve got the opportunity to swell a bunch more but droppin ppm`s to let the plants purge themselves of all excess nitrogen`s gonna help your bottomline taste/smell/cure in the long run IME...

All the other shit can wait till the setup`s dialed and hoonin X amount EVERY run and THEN yas can experiment......

Tryin new shit don`t pay the bills......it was always "what I did every run" so results were the same and I got what I got till I dialed shit and got more.....

Anyways....Good luck and.....

Peace.....DHF....:ying:.....

I think you can safely say yields are going to be great! :D Looks real good mate, hardly any space between the buds... I think you might need a dehumidifier to keep RH under control considering the proximity of the buds.

Must look amazing first hand homie!

Thanks Shhh. I do have a dehumi outside of the intakes..but ive been lucky this run not having to use it much.

DHF,, I didnt forget about ya.. i posted attachments..:)

Plants are at 46 days. I usually chop this strain at 8 weeks (56 days). But i may take them to 9.

Damn FHC, killing it. I've been gone for a few weeks, glad to see you've finally got this beast of a system on the road to complete dialage. Though with bobble and DHF helping your already capable hands, it's hard to go wrong.

So 2 weeks left ?...Wow....They`re awful green for 14 days out my buddy.....but.....them bitches sho look healthy....

You sure yas couldn`t take em longer and get more swellage ?.....or would yas want to....To me they don`t look anywhere near ready but that`s just me and my greedy ass.....

I still see buncha foliage that needsta go , especially since it`s not yellowing off and droppin like in normal latter stages of cycle , but wtf do I know.....

Just wonderin how yas could get rid of more N and bump the difference up with P&K for the same amount of ppm`s across the board for more swellage till end of cycle , but it`s time ta drop ppm`s and dwindle em down till harvey.....

Especially since they`re still so green , but there`s always next run ta dial even further till yas can`t squeeze any more out of em.....anyways...

Killer job ....Now comes the tweakin for the gpw`s....

Handle it....DHF....:ying:.......

I think i will take these to 9 weeks this time. I dont understand why they are so green. Ive been dropping N out for over a week now.

Anyhow..from here on out i will only be adding RO water. Do you think i should continue with the P-K since im going to 9 weeks?

Thanks Fred

I would drain the system and replace with PHed RO water. I would do this at least once a day for the first three days. I'd also add in Clearex (two types of straight sugar) to help flush the salts out of the root mass.

I think DHF mentioned Drip Clean that product may even work better for rinsing the salts out of the roots.

To my eye your plants are so green and healthy that they will naturally ripen and swell by eating the stored nutrients in the fan leaves.

A longer flush will lead to much higher quality finished product IMO and will not harm yield.

I think they are so green because they are super healthy. They have massive amounts of air to their roots and their leaves can maximize the light and create a lot growth through photo synthesis.

Even with straight RO water they will probably stay green for another week before they start to ripen.

Thanks Hydrosun...Always glad ta hear it more eloquently from someone other than my redneck way of explainin things.....

As long as shit get`s understood in the long run then I`ve done my job..... and....

Maybe Dripclean could be implemented into the next run to test it`s ionic properties after end of stretch till end of cycle for pullin out excess residual salts....but...

If yas`re gonna take em longer then don`t flush but rather.....Cut ppm`s in half to leave as much P and K for swellage as possible and see what happens ....IOW....Keep em swellin but keep droppin ppm`s....then see if they start dyin off ......

Lotta folks never see a plant`s true downward spiral to end of cycle due to pre-recorded Breeder so-called finishing times...

Taking plants further shows yas how they can really be IME......

Many ways ta skin a mule....

Holler if I can help....Freds....:ying:.....

Gotta stress that with a dialed fast hydro setup , flushing`s just not required once strain`s dialed and needs are met throughout the grow for max results....but....

As you can plainly see them bitches is holdin onto the stored juice , and I appreciate the post Hydro on dumpin the rez and feedin only R/O till finish but it won`t let em be all they can be if what`s needed to keep swelling get`s leached outta the mix from the R/O dilution....

My 2 cents from all them yrs...DHF....:ying:.....

Yea think im gonna just keep toppin the res with fresh RO every mornin, and add back the P-K. Then after another week i will just add the water till harvey.

thanks again

I really like how you managed your canopy, grow looks great.

Also how is drip clean going to help if its aero?

Ive been using drip clean for these last 2 grows. I must say it seems to work well. From my understanding it help the roots uptake nutes and helps prevent lockouts from salt buildup.
My PH has never been so stable, slowly rising while ppms falling. (what you want) I attribute that to the DC, preventing certain nutes from locking each other out.

Although, DHF can explain it better then me.

Forgot yas were usin Dripclean Bro , but it explains perfectly why yer shit looks so healthy and evidently why they`re accepting the juice so readily and not yellowin off so easily toward end of cycle....or maybe....

They`re tryin or need ta go longer so they can swell more and be all they can be.....dunno...I know they don`t look near ready and needta leach the stored nitrogen out slowly to keep swellin and dwindle down before choppin so keep toppin off and only addin back 1/2 strength P&K to keep em swellin.....

As far as explainin how and why Dripclean works , that`s best left ta Bobbles cuz he knows the science behind it compared to me just knowin it works to bond with excess nutrients and keep residual salt buildups from occurring in a medium/substrate setup and was designed to just keep driptubing and drippers from clogging in the initial offering by H&G , but it`s ionic properties turned out to be icing on the cake for cleaning out rootzones and lettin the plants uptake juice more easily ftw...

Let`s see some fade in them bitches FHC.....they needta yellow off and start losin chlorophyll.....anyways....Handle it.....

Peace....DHF....:ying:......

Yea Fred, in the past growin out this strain i was lucky to make it past week 5 before i started getting yellowing and leaf drop.

I think now its a combination of a much better system that allows better drainage in the root zone and the drip clean. My old horizontal systems were 5 inch pvc fence posts and the roots were always clogged up and sitting in puddled water, creating all kinds of problems that i attributed to the yellowing.

So my point is, i need to sort this out for the future beacuse this strain (green crack) is best harvested at 8 weeks.

veg pruning or training for better yields?

veg pruning or training for better yields?

My next batch of veg plants have 2-3 weeks before they will go into the flower system/room. They will probably double in size if not more in that time. Overcrowding, and choked is indefinate.

I know more space would be ideal, but for now until i get things sorted i need to work with what i have.

Any ideas of what type of training or pruning, defoliating etc i could start with to make these the best they can be to bring them to the flower room?
