querkle is re-dank-culas......thats why i was like "dude don't kill the querkle"....you are going to be impressed. man, the chem must really be a limey....looking forward to seeing what the big dose does for her......i think 10-15 days is plenty of time for a good root mass in small smarties....i know 10 days was good for my seven gal......they are exploding right now...itching to do my update this weekend.....keep up the good work....nugs

i have heard nothing but good things about SUBs genetics. I have always dreamed of the querkle since seeing it in the cannabible. way before i had a set up of my own

so far i have grown:
KKSC
Sour Diesel/Og Kush
Critical + by dinafem

all three are great, love the the taste of the SDKush and the structure of the critical +

You'll likely find two distinct phenos on the Querkle , the more Space Queen dominant one is a great plant for LST.

i would much prefer an indica leaning pheno. i have a lot of herb that lifts me up but almost none the knocks me down. and, i like to take my sativa hybrids till they are 20% amber.

i would prefer a knock out indica but havent had a chance to grow one yet....i can hope for a knockout pheno of querkle

i just gave them all a taste of 650ppm food. i hope they love it as much as i think they will. they have nice lime green to them and i wanna make sure they green out. the querkles have a very interestting color to them as well...

all pretty and healthy. cleaned up the first set up branches and topped everything again...this is the last of the pain and shock they go through...from here on out everything will be low stress

dude, i have a killer Qrazytrain, that has a hard hitting indica stone....and it is querkle dominant.....remember it is half purple urkle...big time indica.....and judging by your pics, she is certainly leaning that way

haha.i hope i have some good ones...i am not getting the best temps down there so i believe it is slowing the growth...we are getting temps of around 65f consistent.

i would love an urkle dom pheno...i know i have atleast one. big thick indica ducky fan leaves...

i am experiencing what seems to be a nitrogen def and just took the last feeding to 700ppms so i am assuming that will take care of that situation. as i mentioned before, this is the first time using and unamended soiless mix

group shot...i am running two different strands but looks like one of everything. there is very little uniformity. especially among the querkles.

very pretty chem99. they are under mh so it exacerbates the def

what made you decide to go with a unammended soil-less medium? is there a way to raise temps a bit? it looks to me like they could be fed quite a bit more....i am still trying to work out ideal feeding regimin, but i test my run off out the bottoms of my smarties, and it is around 1100-1200 ppm....my soil would probably be comparable to roots straight out of the bag....kind of a weak super-soil.....my next grow is a real super-soil run, mostly to take some of the guesswork out of it.....it is a fine line, but i like my girls to show just a touch of overfeeding, which for me usually shows as some leaf cupping/clawing....and nice and dark green.....of course i like to have a good fade at the end too....so touchy stuff....i have three plants that are too light for my taste, so i am using my once a week canopy shot as a barometer of color, it really shows nicely on the camera/computer. i am going to blast them in a few days with a 900-1000....set them off right into mid-flower...the bulk phase....if there is anytime to be dialed in when it comes to nutes is week two through six of flower!

p.s. what are you doing for cal/mg?

i am not sure how i got into the promix. i had been doing a 1 to 1 ratio of FFOF and FFHF. you could need feed at first and then be really light. the promix has nothing in but a little mycorhzae

i will have to treat it like coco and really feed haevily everytime? THIS IS A QUESTION. IM NOT SURE HOW TO FEED USING THE PROMIX

i have some buds that grow the kill but a couple of them dont flush or let up on nutes...he cuts em down as green as they were when they starte flowering. never cuts N all thogether...

i come from the bacjground of flushing and letthing the plant consume itself towards the very end. makes buds plumpER AND MORE TASTY.

senescence is important for the plants.

Man the "whack" will be Indica , even the Space Queen type pheno isn't sativa in effect , it is imo a bit better for training , be real good scroged.

For me the Querkle is a"keeper" and folks are welcome to their own opinions , I like the majority of TGA/Subcool stuff I've seen/grown/smoked , wish I had held on to the Chernobyl and may be getting some cuts back.

YMMV....nice grow you have proceeding.

fuck yeah bro! don't be afraid to feed those bitches! gotta eat to get phat!

Haha, as I mentioned. I am def a noob and is is my first time using promix. I mean, I really have to feed these ladies huh?!?!?!?! I was hoping I would let nature do its thing and just give them light feedings.

It looks like I am really going to have to pay attention to them and give them exactly what they are asking for. It's cold in the basement and I don't think they like it down there.

Any suggestions of insulation or something I can cut to size to give them a barrier between the pots and the cold concrete floor?

I stuck my finger in the soil to see how thirsty they were and it was cold to the touch. Nt good!!!!

get some 2 inch thick pink foam board, and get a piece under the plants! they are chilly!

yeah, you have to feed um pretty good, your plants will get dark green before they burn, so you have a window....the next feeding, just double up, and take a before and after shot after 48 hours...you'll see, they already greened up, but not enough imho.

i would hit them with some cal/mg too.

a lot of growth can happen in 14 days! once you feed those bitches, they are going to blast off you don't want to overgrow your footprint, you'll end up with lots of larfy bud......my guess for your space is about 8 more days......your in the basement, it would kill us both to see you develop a mildew or mold issue for lack of air-circ....recently happened to me, and i almost threw in the towel.....but i didn't of course....but i am ultra aware of RH and air movement.....today i ran my hand through my canopy, and picked up some water....so i lowered my de-humidifier, and turned up my fans.....is there any way you can tap into a heat duct down there, with some flex vent, and run it into your space....you wouldn't need much. i assume your furnace is down there...

there is duct the run directly above my head down there. i prolly could tap into is and run some duct...

would i want to run into one of the socks on the botton or in the top near the scrubber?

this is a real possibiilty. i dont think the wifey would be too thrilled, but it is a possibility...

oh yaeah, i took off the glass on my hood. things are warming up down there! with the insulation and the added heat from bare bulb, we could be in the money!

hey bud, i seen you were looking for a simple ACT recipe....i use roots organism powder, with a little guano and sucanat...or molasses....pretty simple, and extremely effective....i only use it as a soil drench though, not foliar.....veg, use high N guano, flower high P...pretty simple...organism has all the diversity you are ever going to need.
