Gavita pro 600 x 2 / LEP 300 test grow

Things are looking on point in there, nice to see the Gavita tech is performing well too.

A final yield and toke test would be good to hear.

Well the killa queen along with a casy and chem d have been down for 11 days now and are dry and in the process of being trimmed and placed in jars to cure.

But the KQ is done and in jars, all trimmed and de stalked. I have smoked a pre cure sample, and considering I do not likes the kq I like it this time. Has more of a fuelly edge and tastes incredible resinous. The kq was the plant directly under the LEP.

So yield on her, well she was probably the 3 rd smallest yielding plant in the room I would guess. But she has come in at a whopping 195 grams. Which is way higher than the poxy 70 grams I got from her last time with longer veg. 8 more massive plants to go.

Wohoo!

Well if she's below average numbers wise this should be very decent mate... very decent indeed ;)

Fair play!

Thanks guys....

Ok, the first casey jones is dry, trimmed and now curing in jars.

It has developed almost a strawberry edge to it this time, which is have never detected in all my runs of casey in the past.

But yield wise........ 233 grams bone dry and de stalked.

2 plants down 7 more to go. Chem d will be trimmed and jarred tomorrow.

Sorry...

Yeah the Tds are good. I have a 5,6 and 8.

Not quite as powerful as an rvk but just oversize and put on a variac transformer to reduce speed and you'll have a super silent fan.

Awesome thread as always, and as always im super excited to try some of theses ladies.....especially looking forward to the Casey Jones coz when people get familiar with her thats when she really shines and releases some smells and flavours not present before. Keep the greta pics coming, cant wait to see some dry bud shots.

Chem d weigh in......

242g. Was directly under the left hand gavita 600w unit.

So that's the first 3 plants, 1 third chopped, dry and in jars. Total so far 670 grams.

Something that you might be able to optimize is the air flow in the tent, you have a giant fan at top height, and I see that on top height the plant is a lot less green than lower in the plant. Too much air flow can cause that. Heat, high humidity and wind can cause leaf burn.

plus there are a lot of bends in your ducting. you might be able to lower tempts by positioning that filter so that the air flows easier with less turning.

Cheers guys' yeah these are the smaller of the 9 plants.

Whazzup... Easy a gpw. This has far exceeded my expectations in yield. With a decent scrog I think I can top 80 bt we shall see.

Smokes wise, I don't like to do pre cure smoke reps. But it's like the yield, awesom. Heightened turpine levels and new scents to things that I have not noticed before.
The chem d is so stick she is pretty much untouchable without leaving you greasy. My best smelling, tasting chem d yet and I ave a 77 day plant drying now, so that'll be even better.

The plant that really surprised me with shear cola size and girth was the giesel. She is normally pretty shit for me but some of her colas this time were the width of 2 lt cola bottles easy. Had to cut her out f the netting.
