dont forget to scrub up too weedss. if youre checking for moisture by sticking your finger in 2in, make sure theyre clean. but i just check by the weight of the cup, let it dry out some. if youre talking of letting it go 4 to 5 days plus without watering, i'm pretty sure thats too long, given its a 16oz cup and under 24hr light.

manybe nutes soon?

dosent look stretched at all weedss. do you have enough drainage holes in the bottom? those holes should be as big as a nail hole at least. if its been more than 3 days, your not getting good drainage or something. you can give it a light feed, maybe 200 ppm

you dont want those roots exposed to light either man. take a black or dark colored piece of paper and tape it around the cup, or just wrap it with black electrical tape. light causes root rot. next time just get colored beer cups. i have black beer cups i got a bunch on halloween.

weedss internodes are like the branch levels, not the leaves themselves. i think youre supposed to try to keep them an inch or two apart to keep it short and bushy

your earlier pictures looked like a tiny plant in a big pot.

i would wait till the coco in the middle and bottom of cup are almost the same color as the coco on top that is drier before watering. clear cups don't cause root rot i dunno who told you that. i use mostly clear pots nowadays. doesn't effect anything. the roots that come out on the side of the cup will wilt and die off though. because they are exposed to air.
if you think something might happen then put the clear cup inside another cup that isnt clear or tape it up. but i assure you it makes no difference in the long run.

i wouldnt give it any more food till it starts asking for food. you already almost killed them giving nutes before they needed it.

yeah i'm on my first coco grow as well. before this grow i had one of those shoebox sized caligrowkits. it had a white rez and all sorts of light got into it. weedss was there with me for that circus. so i guess the thought of light getting to any roots at all, rubs me the wrong way so i just advised against it. thats pretty cool tho that its not a problem with coco or soil. check out my thread dude, we need more of that insight. youre obviously a classy one too, peein on your flowers and all. jk

17 days old and she is so tinny ? Din you inspect the roots , are them okay ? At 17 days she must have at least four or five internods and huge leaves.

I remember that I had a plant like this one year ago (a regular SuperSkunk seed) that almost died 3 days after popping out of the soil an with lot of tending and care from me she survived, but the growing has resumed after 2 ore 3 weeks and it became a monster plant - actually a male , but I kept him for polen.

I'm kinda with hemp on this, my seedling is max a week old and it starting its 3rd node. I am using about the same wattage as you but you don't mention ventilation methods in the thread that I noticed. It really looks heat stressed, cause I would say its getting ample light as it looks to be little to no stretching. Get a thermometer get a temp reading, pushing anything over 90 Fahrenheit or 30-Celsius in that small of space would probably slow growth.

I've seen on my searches through diy links a ventilation 101 thread that discussed how to match the cfm to temperature rise from you're ambient temp.

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=112862&highlight=ventilation+101 here it is figured instead of making you look I'd just find it asap lol

I have 9 passive intake holes. and I have 70 cfm exhaust fan.the temp never go up to 80. usually 70~76, 40~50 RH. that plant got burn and light burn and ph burn and overwated from early stage. this is why it's so stunted. but it's still growing tho. the root looks white as my teeth too.

Do you keep a humidity dome over your plants ? Is very useful in the first week. Just a simple transparent cup with a small hole on the top is enough to keep the air humidity at max levels (90~100%). And be sure that the growing medium is not wet, but just moist (if you can actually see the water it means it's over saturated ).
