how did I miss these? I thought I posted in a ST#3 thread guess not this one. Every time I order I get some skunk or skunk x whatever Sam the Skunkman freebie, not that these are not good but why can't I get a freebie like this? I wanted this since like the beginning of time, largely on SOTF's gushings!

Yeah you got to be really nice to Clarence to get those SWT#3's. I am amazed there are some left, must be buyers who flaked on their orders cause C mentioned that they were all gone. Maybe send an extra $5 to ensure you get a pack if they have em left. I usually always get what I ask for when I specify.

Im gonna start some SWTs today, maybe just 3 to start off and see how that goes. Im hoping there is still a few packs left at the bay as I have an order that should be touching down any day now, would be nice to get another 5 to increase the odds of getting a few good survivors.

Any experts out there that can tell me how hard is it to find a mom in SWT#3? Is there a lot of pheno's to sort thru or is it pretty consistent?

It's pretty consistent. It's the 3rd backcross to the SPG mom and uses the SWT Bx2 male (father to the LUI, Blockhead, Blue Sat 2, Tropicana, etc).

I am pleased with the germ rates i got. 4 out of 5 and the fifth one would have cracked eventually too. Paper towel method is highly recommended for higher germ rates.

Any experts out there that can tell me how hard is it to find a mom in SWT#3? Is there a lot of pheno's to sort thru or is it pretty consistent?

My pack of Swt#3 from back in the day gave me 5 females. 4 were quite similar and fairly grapefruity. 3 of the 4 weren't keepers, they either had mold problems or the smell wasn't quite right. The 4th was pretty amazing, def keeper with unreal smell, bag appeal, yield and quality of high etc.

The 5th female was quite different to the other 4, more sativa looking with a different sort of a sweet smell. This was our headstash keeper. We pollenated her with a SwT#3 male and the f2 seeds were pretty uniform, slightly more uniform than the F1's oddly enough.

So far 1 out of 4.

I did a scruff and a 2 day soak in kelp water and then into a paper towel. The one I actually got to pop is moving real slow, I think Im going to wait til it has a decent sized tail before I transplant it.

I've never babied seeds like I have with these, hopefully it pays off with a male and a female

Started 3 more yesterday, and will do a few more til I get atleast 4.

I was really excited to get these, but 0/10 popped. I tried the paper towel method and waited 3 weeks before giving up.

I got 1 out of 10 to pop, but then I dropped it on the floor and couldn't find it.

Oh well, I got some SWT seeds coming, these ones are fresh so hopefully I'll have better luck.

I got 1 really healthy one and 2 I am still not sure of. I tossed the other that wasnt progressing any. When I got room I will pack the remaining 5 I have left and see what I can find.

i also got some weird mutations going on with one of mine, big flat stem at the second node with three shoots coming off the top.
