Oh man!!! You boys are gonna force me to get the old screen out, the weather is dry enough for it.
I'm inspired!

...I'm back on smoking hash. I'm finding it a much cleaner and clear high. Seems to me....the resin must be taken to that refinement. I've decided to stick with the resin for a while.

The hash ball I showed keeps getting added on to....there must be 4 months of plants represented in the ball. It gets smoked on daily....keep adding more as I make it....never letting it get too small. It is hash making season.

If shit goes gunnysack....a quake or something...I'd be grabbing this ball for my survival kit. A shotgun and a fat ball of hash...lots of ammo...and all the other standard stuff.

wrist rockets are deadly...blow guns too. Shotguns keep cretins at bay...in case it turns into that sort of situation...zombies or the like

Fuck yeah!

My season starts when the frost comes. So far gorgeous golden autumn.

Crazy times. I've spent two days looking for bows. I found desire for the composite horn bows wrapped in silk and gold. 3k seems a reasonable price, but fuck! Looking for bows?! Endzeitstimmung.

To lighten things up I offer you some music, that I've enjoyed lately :smoke:

LOL, I'm always ready to take on the zombies. Cross paths with them everyday when I leave the house;)

Here's how the Chemm DD is looking. Plenty of seeds(DDD-Cong, pronounced like a stutter) on her so, I'm stoked! Definitely getting stinky, I have to pull her out of the room when ever I want to get in there, so I'm getting very familiar with her odor.

This post is dedicated to RM's work.....

This post is dedicated to RM's work.....

The plants I'm showing today are all at day 27 flower stages...

MVTF X GK:

Girls are pumping out flowers. Remember I had that fluke intersex branch on the only girl of 3 that was not pollinated with the Tweedy dust. Now...no other issues on her or her sisters...I do seem to overfeed them though. I believe them sensitive to either my bouncing PH (5.6 - 6.0 coco)....or the feed amounts...can't tell...but I keep burning and curling leaves. **You can see in the pix....that it doesn't seem to affect them from pumping flowers....but they are not being perfectly catered to. I don't really care or have the time to make them "Swan Queens".....I'm pushing them for flower production. Nice plants....hard workers...wonderful aromas and structure...faster pussy cats...me likes the dirty ho's racing around the track

One of two seeded buds...It makes sense to me to use the Tweedy dust on these. So the Blues are played through F13 and Grape Krush...wouldn't that be a double dose of the B130 male? I think so. Add the differences between Mango Haze and the MVTF...tie into those separate lines....look for the right expression...go from there. It should produce interesting results imo.

This shows where I cut the he/she branch off the offender

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

On to the 3 Tweedy IX1 girls. This very morning....I pollinated 2 with Tweedy dust and 1 with Odessa IX1 dust.

The above plant is my favorite so far....for sure a stinky F13 leaner....her leaves a deeper/darker/bluer green. This is the girl I hit with Odessa dust. I have her tied to bamboo stakes....solid branching...faster than her sisters. Think this is going to be a fine example of RM's concept (speculating of course...but if it were my cross...this would be the direction I would have gone..keeping it freaky)

The above plant was incrossed....seems like a little bit more to the Mango Haze....but....also has some F13-like traits. Tied heavy to her tomato cage...not really stinky yet.

The above plant was also incrossed...pretty similar to the last plant...and again...heavily tied to her cage.

***If I seem to be skimming on the last 2 expressions...let me say...there is nothing at all wrong with them...they haven't really started to show their wings yet (probably...as they lean more to the Mango Haze....they will take a while to show off)....but also...

.....I for sure show favoritism in my studio. I'm predicting the heavy F13 to be my girl. She is what I wanted to see. How else can one select if not for favoritism?....in my favoritism: I wanted to use my Odessa males on her....as I know Odessa as a path I want to trail in many directions....

I will also be using the Tweedy dust in a reverse fashion....so on Odessa females. This way I get to see the blend from both directions...and eventually...do a parallel run...recrossing that way. Makes sense to me....a normal everyday course of action...as far..as I can see. If I have the cross from both directions....options in expressions...the door swings open wider. I'll most likely pollinate 2 "stretcher" Odessa females this week....will document the madness/expressions

EDIT: Fucking zombies freak me out....I prefer the slower moving ones that die from head shots...goddamn they are everywhere....overfed gluttons....dead eyes...slagging away their existences....feeding off whatever lives...

Hey man you've brightened my week. I was moaping around today before this. I hit my frostiest f13 before I dug into the post. It tastes like earth and the hit leaves you staggering kind of blind and settles into clear intsensity. I love the stuff! I'd like to devote a room to F13 seeds right now but everything feels like a no go at the moment. Anyway, when I read your posts and watch what you are doing I kind of feel like you/we are knitting. I start with parents, incross for the future than cross them to something I find really special. I then usuallly tie them to another cross I have made with common parentage. Two steps forward one step back rinse and repeat;)! I just popped Tweedy x Bubba/F13, very excited to see what comes of it. I'll be anything that most hold to the mad mango stretch, its in there deeep. Also Bubba x Bubba/Grape Krush. I really love bubba and want to know what makes her tick ya know. Now that are pathways are crossing, the next logical step to me is to work your Ghost crosses with the Fire OG x Bubba/grape I just finished. The process, the journey, the pleasure of learning what each of these plants is from and has to offer. Its like taking your own road, the further you get away from the original path and exploring expressions along the way, learning from what was seen before and excited to find something you have never seen before. All the while leaviing breadcrumbs as you go. I monocropped for a long time. I am always excited to plant new seeds at this point.
I realize I just kind of hijacked things for a moment but your work inspires me and I've always felt a kinship to you and your methods. Thanks for your dedication to your work and taking the time to include my own.:friends:

Not a hijack at all RM. I'm happy to have your genetics active in my pathway...it's a pleasure to have other likeminded plant breeders within the pages/crosses. It cuts down on time frames and work loads....if some of the work is already done by those on similar paths....with similar visions....goals.

I'm still vegging up a bunch of CBF's Bubba X Ghost....I've got them sexed/transplanted. I also have my Hell Hound (Kush) running parallel...so...after an extended veg time (the bubba cross being like molasses) I should have a winter project of goodness. I'm hoping some of the Odessa (in the Hell Hound) comes out....and when crossed into...the bubba x ghost...will add speed. I think Bubba wonderful as well....but...I want to add the nitrous into the grow speed.

I'm changing up....after the previously mentioned projects...as I want to grow a crop of girls just for sinse production. I'm going to take a round off breeding...in other words. I had HL's F13 X A11 and your Chem4 X F13 up next...but...that's going to require me to use pollen...so...I just started Blind Willy Chemical Haze which is something like:

{Wonder Haze X ELEbx1 x ChemDBX2 IX1} X Chem DD IX1.......

.....something like that anyway....more or less...a fun run...a vacation off the insanity. They went into coco today. Attempting to keep a grip on shit...when all a grower is thinking about in his garden....is breeding plants...man you have to step back...it's never enough...I can't remember 1/2 of what has been done without referencing the seed collection or my notes...I don't even know when I got off the boat. The horror....it's fucking retarded

Edit: I can't remember making Blind Willy Chemical Haze...I really can't....but...the beans are there...beautiful tan little beans..I obviously made them during my Chem DD incross/outcross project...whenever that was...seems like a long time ago...actually not though. In garden time...it was a lifetime ago. Don't remember making Blind Willy or Blind Willy Haze....but I know I did...as I've flowered them...all the while documenting. It's all vague.

EDIT again: on further research....I made the beans last winter

pablos....you are a goddamn genius

pablos....you are a goddamn genius

I was all stoned and laughing at that thought....as I took these pictures..showing you variety in Hell Hound (Kush)

4 girls at the same age. The variety...most likely a couple of them tagged by the Odessa pollen grains in the blend...is pretty obvious. I may well be looking even in the pollen split...hard to say of course...a crap shoot...but...man I'm way more interested in the unknowns...the observations....the dash of mystery in not ever knowing for sure.

Hell Hound (Kush)= (SFV x Ghost) x Ghost X Odessa
or
(SFV x Ghost) x Ghost X (SFV x Ghost) x Ghost

*the pollen was blended you see?....I either get a "true" Hell Hound Kush if tagged by the Odessa pollen grain or the IX1 if a "Kush" grain tagged up.

....the (un) genius thing about blending pollen is the documentation aspect....fuuuuuck

Vision is a strange thing...one leads to another and another...I'm not at all positive one should lock themselves into a definitive vision. Vision is like the contours of the land, sky, sea...ever changing...one must remain dynamic and open to the changes.

Can't get fixated on any specific line for very long....push push push

Poppers....

Poppers....

I soaked my Blind Willy Chemical Haze (BWCH) in a shot glass of tap water for 12hrs or so....then dropped them into coco yesterday...good beans...already popping in their 2nd day of coco..

You guys ever grow Reservoir's Wonder Haze? Myself...I went through 2pacs on 2 separate runs...probably a year apart. I found several outstanding expressions....Lemony sativa highs...did a few outcrosses...though I never made the next inline generation. Can't remember why...

....but the outcrosses (which in some cases were made with blended pollen) and other factors promise that i can find Wonder Haze(ish) expressions...the same SSH (Rez's) I also have down in H3ad's SSH X C99....the Willy BX1 I grew too (and made Blind Willy with the same pollen that I made Blind Willy Haze)....anyway I have some history with these sort of crosses

I'm a fan of Wonder Haze....I like what it did when recombined with the ELEbx1 X Chmedbx2 IX1 (to make Blind Willy Haze)....adding the Diesel/Chem to a solid base structure of a Wonder Haze female I kept around for a while (when I still used clones).....she being...a 80+ day flower...good yielder of menthol lemon buds...clear sativa high...nothing wrong with Wonder Haze imo.

If you get a chance at pacs of Wonder Haze...jump on it...there are several different expressions to be found...most are really good...some great. It's a sweet sativa hybrid. Props to MIA Rez for making the cross...good stuff that I want to progress.

Odessa females pollinated with Tweedy

Odessa females pollinated with Tweedy

Ok....this should be the last pollinations with the Tweedy IX1 pollen. Y'all probably get sick of me showing Odessa expressions...but...for a quick sativa hybrid...with several distinct and fun expressions...Odessa (Casey Jones X Cindy Jones) is a gold mine. I'll stay on the Odessa wave.

The cross provides lots of features that I find very much...desirable. Some day...perhaps...even now...Casey Jones may not be that easy to get a hold of...and..just a few years ago...it was C99 that was all that much coveted. Taking two sativa dominant crosses...blending them together...is my personal take on preservation of both Casey and Cindy. Of course...I also have both Cindy and Casey straight up (inline generations) and mixed many other ways.

Believe me when I say: If Casey and Cindy didn't blend well...I'd stop fucking with Odessa. The reality is....that they are peas and carrots. There is enough variety in the beans that I don't get bored. I'm progressing Odessa into the IX2 next week...and outcrossing to DTC99. I don't see a downside anywhere on the horizon. In fact...crossing into DTC99 will most likely take me to a whole other pool of expression. DTC99 is some funky smelling shit

These plants were done up...about an hour ago. Day 23...already starting to get serious on flower making

***I've had a change of heart in the use of large Tomato cages. I am now promoting their use in height restricted grows. I'm easily controlling vigorous/stretchy expressions by layering the branches on the top ring of the cage (serpentine the branches in and out...using ties to hold them in place around the rim). Generally...I try to keep the inside of the cages open to light...though it depends on the plant expression. Both the Tweedy and the Odessa have their stretch kept mild by using this method.

I have used cages in the past...my only concern is that they don't layer too much...and restrict flower development. I'm thinking it won't be a problem....but...time will tell as the flowers plump and fill in the upper rim.

Months and months of planning/progression

Months and months of planning/progression

This morning the plan comes together....I used Odessa IX1 (Casey Jones X Cindy Jones) pollen on the select DTC99 F4.....as well as...pollinating an Odessa for the IX2.

All plants at day 24

The DTCs

The DTCs with the Odessa female

Crossing Odessa into the DTC99 promises a beautiful collaboration between more Thai expressions and more Cindy 99....added Diesel and Durban opportunities....the door swings wide the fuck open. IMO this will be a pivotal cross in my pathway.

*****....I thank C for the help with the DTC99s...the plants are no slouches....I'm seeing everything I envisioned. Without C's help the project would not have taken off as fast as it has....from the dream stages in the spring....to an up and running realization this fall. Friends with genetics are priceless......share share share
