the best shit is the Blue Knight out of the 530 northern california....its some kind of blueberry x purple.....nugs are dark purple colored very strong smell....

i like blue dream its good commercial weed but not something i keep a stash jar of around...the smell is nice and it will stink up a rooom like incense...ive seen so many different kinds some fluffy some dense...heres one sample from a friend who grew in coco...

and a fluffier pheno from same grower he calls this one the blueberry haze..

That the one that won some local cannabis cup out there a couple years back? (Blue Knight) if so my buddy from back in the day made that cross, unfortunately I never got a chance to try it out

i had one growing on a collective farm an hour north this year, wasn't very mold resistant

i was surprised how many of the other growers were bugging out for a cut of it, i kept telling them they can go down to any shop carrying oaksterdam clones and get it for $10~$15 all day long...i still am getting offers for trades and whatnot for cuts, lol i still have my mom and will be making them cuts before the new year, i don't know if i will be running it anymore after that mom is done though, well it is a good yielder and others seem to love it

i smoked some in Cali, would say stuff is good, but my godness a sativa? No way, in my catalogue this would be called Mostly indica hybrid ^^
Bag appeal is a great advantage of this one as well..

Dream is nice and ill always probebly keep her but i stop short of calling her connoisseur grade. For having well rounded qualities its a nice one to keep around. She does not match up to something like OG,chem, the white,bubba ect.

Id give her a mid 7-8 on potency, above average yeild, good bag appeal visual and smell. I enjoy the smell of blue dream but im addicted to the smell of og. I do love how she grows she takes well to all forms of training or lack of. I dont care for quick flowering strains so i do like shes around 10/11 weeks. Id give her final score of 8 being that she falls short of true connoisseur.

I totally feel ya on that...but I also know several old heads who really appreciate the quick, clear-headed buzz because it reminds them of good mexican herb...that said, I'm sure there are plenty of other strains that would cream their proverbial twinkie without being so bland. just playing devil's advocate

I have to agree, been growing for over 25 years and still rank it as a "top 5" strain, but I think different people react to different strains differently so it's *very* personal thing.

the biggest complaints I read about Blue Dream are about the high and the flavor. She needs to be flushed real hard (like most blueberry hybrids IMO), and don't let her go past day 65. After 65 I have found the flavor and the high to diminish quickly

Kruch, yes it has been way overgrown in Cali, but I must disagree with you in the respect that I STILL rank it a top 5 strain, marketing wise (if your just looking at it's commercial aspects) absolutely, go to a OG hybrid or diesel or some funky named strains.

Hmm I always thought this strain had a low potency (generally 9-14%) but I wonder if dispensaries chop it too early.

I'd be curious about percentages. I think I read there were like two or three phenotypes.
One thing with the one I grew, it was extremely resinous. A concentrate might be nice and may bump up the affects.
Another thing is the smoke or vapor smells good and it tastes pretty good for not being cured yet. I hope it gets way better though.
Someone had mentioned one of the phenotypes has a blueberry soap smell.
The vapor really has a soapy sort of scent. In my experience, it's a distinct characteristic. I sort of like it. It's been out there in one incarnation or another since I remember. The smell is what I'm talking about. Maybe a Durban strain I checked out has it a little. I can't remember for sure though.
