Why are states like texas that are proud to kill anyone even when there is huge doubts about their guilt. Parry the dick killed a guy that turned out to be innocent and then shut down any investigations in to the mans execution. Damn right don.t mess with texass they'll kill you wether your guilty or not.
As for the death penalty as a deterent it don't work that way. Texass has murdered more people than china, and parry brgs about it. The whole country will go down the drain even faster if a jerk like parry or even that other texass fool paul. my two cents.fuck parry and texass.

"Don't mess with Texas" was originally an anti-littering campaign but it took on a life of it's own after people outside the state (rightly) assigned it a broader definition. Texas is racist and homophobic, but welcome to America. At least Texas is honest about it, instead of pretending to be tolerant but unable to pass laws which clearly demonstrate that tolerance. Muslims have a hard time anywhere in the US right now. Texas is no different. Texas could secede from the union, but that will never happen. Texas has one of the largest economies in the world (11th or 12th?), 2nd largest in the US. It has vast territories that provide multiple, abundant natural resources, including oil. Have you ever traveled Texas, Hash? The state is very beautiful. Have you been down to Big Bend? Have you been to Austin, San Antonio, or South Padre Island? There is beauty all over Texas. (By the way Colorado is Texas territory as well. Don't tell them but we own that state, lock, stock, and barrel. So, you could say we have our own little summer retreat just a few hours north, and don't tell me that state isn't beautiful!) There is even a quiet solemn mystical aesthetic to east and west Texas. And there are some fine women that come from those little nothing hick towns. Even the Texas border towns have that old school wild west feel to them, and the food is amazing! I don't like the cannabis laws either. I'm happy to be out of there, but I also think anyone can sit at home with their MMJ card and grow their "legal medicine", but it takes a real soldier to grow in the face of consequences like they have down in Texas. I guess what I'm saying is, I don't like everything about my home state, but I still respect where I'm from and it's not the place you make it out to be Hash. They do a lot of things right, and the death penalty is one of them. If you have a deterrent on the books, use it or it ceases to be a deterrent. Seems pretty straight forward to me. And there is nothing, and I mean nothing, more pointless than a last meal IMO. They typically don't eat it and we shouldn't be giving it to them in the first place. They certainly don't deserve it.

Yes I have been to all of those places. Austin, and Big Bend areas are nice. oh ya and Hamilton pool. Other than that it has nothing to offer me nature wise in comparison to the western states. No where on the planet compares to the western USA. Cali, OR, WA. Utah, CO, New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, Montana, all way better than Texas. I have been to all of them. lived in Texas for 25 years too. you know what I remember. Miserable humidity and heat.
Texas can no longer secede. They gave that right up. Texans let have way too much ego built up into there state and it clouds them from the truth. oh that and the ten million churches they have.
