havent rolled my own in about a year, but I was a big fan of the red zig-zag cans ( i smoke marb reds when I buy and those are kinda similar. have a blue TOP and zig-zag injector thingy.

oh yeah BUGLER tobacco is the absolute worst, but super cheap.

they also lasted about twice as long as a regular cigg, which depending on your condition could be good or bad. (i.e. good when your drunk)

I'm gonna give the Good Stuff a try. Glad to hear Bugler is crap... sure tastes like it. The big thing I didn't like was the hand roll. Hand rolled is cool for spliff suckin but doesn't lend well to cigarette puffin. So I picked up the top injector and a couple packs of tubes.

We've got American Spirit local around here somewhere and I plan to give it a try after the GS. An old buddy smokes Drum, not sure if that's worth a try. Anybody tried Drum tobacco?

Disco, I have tried Drum. It's been a few years, so my memory of its particulars isn't the clearest. It wasn't nasty, but it wasn't what I was looking for. It's dark, rich and full flavored tobacco.

`well i enjoy the occasion cig. i like rolling my own because i smoke much less of it when i smoke, and i smoke less often. for the occasional smoker that doesn't want to spend much money, i think this is great. also, if you have never rolled your own, this is a great chance to try it, with good quality tobacco for $1. hell, the rolling papers it comes with are worth $2.

I used to smoke, now I don't. Tobacco smokers reek! if you smoke it you can't smell your self whew nasty. Plus my wife used to say it's like kissing an ashtray. Nicotine is a serious poison, one of the deadliest poisons on the planet. Once your hooked you'll be suck for years.
Best thing I ever did was getting off nicotine, I smoked cigs dipped snuff, smokd a pipe, I did it all now I have heart problems directly the result of smoking tobacco. My advise is stop, before you can't.

I was going to start a thread about MYO (make your own) cigarettes. I just started rolling my own about 2 months ago and I wanted to see what anyone else found to be good tobacco.
I just got 2 lbs Good Stuff and 4-250 Zen tubes for less than $50 delivered. Less than a buck a pack compared to almost $6 for a pack of Marlboros.
The taste is so much better without all the chemicals they put in commercial cigs that I end up smoking a lot less than before.
Win/win.
Largo is very good for taste, no bite and has a good cut. Sparrow is a bit dry and bitey with some lumber but if you like cigarettes with some 'whang' to 'em it's okay. It makes the Good Stuff red seem a bit mild by comparison but the cut and moisture is perfect. Can't roll a bad smoke with this tobacco.
Almost went with the Natural but I thought it might be real mild, Iraganji. Might be my next buy tho as this brand is a really good cut.

I may look to add some Mac Baren in with some of my regular tobacco as he's supposed to have some very tasty blends but I'm sure they are more of a pipe tobacco nature.
I've gotten pretty fast with my cheezy plastic injector but I may soon get the Top-o-matic II. I guess everybody who has them and have used everything else thinks they work great.

This injector looks really nice but I hear it has mixed reviews. I like the hopper and the adjustable speed/compactor buttons (mostly because I'm lazy) but I already have a houseful of junk that ain't quite what it's suppose to be, including a blender that you better not take your hand off the lid unless you want to clean the kitchen for 2 hours.

while rolling your own saves cash . you end up smoking more. since rolling my own i am smoking more.i have several rolling machines none are electric tho. top makes a nice heavy duty chrome one and swift has a lightweight plastic one.when all is said and done its about 12 dollars a carton

I started smoking cigs this last year after multiple attempts to get the habit going over the last 25 yrs...It started with my lighting up a butt because I stink all the time like buds and resin and finally they grabbed me and I need a few cigs everyday...but I've also been listening to Euro techno over the last few winters, I think Golden Boy and Miss Kitten made me smoke more...it certainly makes sense...

My injector, tubes and good stuff arrive tomorrow. If I did the math right; tubes, tobacco and shipping amounts to 3 cents per cig, compared to 24 cents per Marlboro. That's 60 cents per pack vs ~$4.50 + tax.

I'll hit the local tobacco shop and lose the shipping... even cheaper. I figure it's worth blowing $45 for the injector. I'm already paying $45 a carton.

BnB has a disclaimer that says they don't report transactions to the feds. The customer is responsible for any taxes. If pipe tobacco isn't taxed like cigarettes, why get the disclaimer? Is ATF gonna raid my crib? Will it be the first, joint ATF/DEA raid for a micro grow?

The starter kit at BnB is $68 and change shipped. The T2 injector averages ~$45. You can get em on ebay cheaper. Some are used and very cheap. It's a big clunky piece of junk but the chance I might save $2000 a year is worth a shot.

I recon BnB knows I'm counting chickens, lol. Bastards sent me a $10 coupon toward my next $100.00 purchase. And this coupon expires Sept 25! Let me think, uh... no.

Last year I started smoking an occasional cigarette, and went with natural american spirits. their cigarettes contain no additives, and have organic. I think there is a reason why lung cancer in the USA is so much higher than other countries, i think all the chemicals they use d o harm, and in the US they could be using much more. anyway, thats not what this post is really about, what it's about is their give away offer.

if you are a menthol smoker, you may want to try these, there is no menthol in the tobacco itself. its in the filter. i've always suspected that menthol cigarettes are worse for your lungs than non menthol, but thats just an assumption.

1) are easily manipulated by basic marketing principles
2) you are possibly one of the dumbest people in the world for 'taking up' cig smoking
3) like the typical smoker, you try to justify it by saying that the brand you smoke is the 'healthiest' and that other brands are 'much worse'.
