Fresh Grape Ape rooted clones, still wilting?????

I have had success with rooting clones in the past.I have been using Rapid Rooter Plugs. It's all for personal use, so I have just done a few trays here and there...

I started with some new strains and I am learning that some are much harder to clone than others, so I am trying to work that out.

Now recently I had some Grape Ape clones that were 100% rooted before some others, so I took them out to transplant to dirt. Within about an hour half of them were completely wilted as if they still needed to be under the humidity dome, but there were roots all over the plugs...Every other time I pull them with roots they are totally fine. Any suggestions on this??? Any tips for HARD TO CLONE STRAINS??? Thanks!!

Transplant into a lighter than usually mix, even if this means a smaller container to start off. Ambient light for a day or 2 and a light misting once or twice a day. I had green crack that rooted pretty fast and strong in my aerocloner but the second they hit the dirt (light warrior/potting soil/perlite) they wood droop like they were fresh cut on 100 degree day.

i have a few strains that are hard to clone... i like to leave them under the dome for a few more days....after i transplant to cups...then i put them under the light directly..if they wilt i pop it back under the dome for a day more....

Wow, I guess I am not alone here. I also have been working with Green Crack in Rooter Plugs and that is a very hard to clone strain for me so far. It has taken a long time and still no roots. I will transplant my grape ape to small containers and let them acclimate to the soil under the dome still.....I never thought the clones would wilt after they started showing so many roots. Always something new with the cannabis hobby :)

Yea I will have to adopt this method into my process....I would like to find a good producing, good quality medicine that is easier to clone....I have had success within 7 days with the same process I am using now....that strain just wasn't very potent to continue growing...

I've had this happen to me...to solve the wilting I mist the plant as soon as they come out from under the dome and give them a small drink with a 1/2 strength Liquid Karma solution, then place them about two feet under a couple of 4ft floros and in a day or so they are ready for the big lamp...gotta let them babies harden up just a bit before they hit the big time....a little tlc goes a long way.

Maybe add a little heat underneath, i find this helps when things seem to go slow.
