kids do stupid shit all the time, but calling the cops for weed? someone was hiding something from them : which is just out and out stupid ...... if you don't want your kids to bullshit you, don't bullshit them ......... or .......... they got pissed off about some stupid shit (the X box sounds about right) and decided to teach dad a lesson ....... if the latter is correct they are well on their way to being worthless to anyone including themselves anyway. dad might be happy being safe in jail.

My question is, I wonder what those kids expect to happen because of this? I mean...I hope they have fun in foster care. Those have to be just about the dumbest kids on the face of the planet. They don't understand how wrecked their lives are going to become.

when those kids grow up and smoke a joint, their going to be like OMFG what did we do to dad..... ITs not the kids fault, the school system makes weed sound like fucking heroin and kids freak out if they think their parent is a "heroin" addict. THe schools drill into these kids head that these marijuana users are the same as crack addicts burglarizing and killing people for money. Im sure the kids freaked out when they found it since the school probably scared the skit outta them into thinking marijuana is some insane loose your mind drug. YOu have to calmly educate children over a period of time why marijuana is not a "bad drug". Without talking the shit up, YOu might joke around about it, or let them hear you talk to another adult about your opinion on medical marijuana and how its safer than alchohol ect. just make sure to hide your shit from your kids untill their like 15-16 years old and their mature enough to handle finding out you smoke. ITs your own fault if your kids find ur shit. kids will talk their ass off in school and you don't need a young kid telling all his friends his dad smokes weed.

Ding Ding Ding WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went through this whole thread just waiting on this response. Some folks do not teach their children morals. Same sort of thing happened to a friend of mine . Only his 16 year old son decided that with dad out of the house he could run the show. Pissed dad off bad enough to slap him. Kid goes to school and cops go to house. tell dad he has to go see the judge and take the kid into foster care. Didn't work out like he planed. The truth finely came out in court after the kid got passed around to a few different homes because he wouldn't follow rules. kid ended up picking up trash on the road side. But caused much hart ache first.

I dont think dad spent enough time teaching his kids about the real world, You have to realize the propaganda there going to be bombarded with and teach them to see through it. I was always honest with my kids about life and they saw through that DARE shit from an early age . You have to spend more time growing and nurturing your kids then your plants
just don't do it in the Walmart parking lot.

Yessir, I agree 200%! I believe one of my most important responsibilities in this life, if not THE most important, is being a father to that wonderful young man. Teaching him everything I can, the best I can, so he can make the best choices possible when he's faced with decisions on his own.
I've always been honest and upfront about my medicinal cannabis usage with my son, I feel lying to him about it sets a HORRIBLE example and precedent. Open and honest communication is much better IMHO.
Everything else in this world is just window dressing in comparison.
Much love to all the parents out there who are a big part of their kids lives.

Let me ask yall this, do you think it's immoral to have kids around a grow? Were talking 13 - 18 year old kids, honestly.... child endangerment! I can say I don't condone them playing around the grow unsupervised but if they were there with you asking questions and showing interest then why not? I hate when people freak out when I’m smoking where there’s children around and I’m not talking right in there face but discretely, or have it present when there around and people freak out like, “ oh my god you’re going to smoke here?” or “your going to pull that bag out now? There are children around!” but if I were to crack open some cognac or some whisky no one gives a shit!
