. At least I have the sour/lime part happening with my female, chocolate would be an added bonus. I definately will be on the look out for a party ender type of high in the future when I pop some more Sour B beans, I need something like that for my personal type smoke and for close friends . If its better than the old HP then i'm on the hunt for it. I hope you get tons of beans from your breeding projects and find your keeper male soon. Good luck on your new SBs also.
As for my breeding projects i'm only really running 3 main strains (SB Bx2/3, SD IBL, CD IBL) and a few filler strains outside. So I planned on cross them 3 up various ways and looking for something special plus making more stock of those strains for my future use. If I do see something interesting from some of the filler strains i'll utilize that also. I will definately keep ya'll in the loop on these. I like the idea of some of the new crosses you are about to make also, they sound awesome. Ya'll take care 1
P.S. Cubing that LV sounds killer also.

cody2white- yeah it is insane, 6 more weeks and everything should be smooth sailing.
Kant c- No prob! Sour lime is where it is at, mine only smells like chocolate when first taken down, 2 weeks later is is danky sour funk with a kushy ass end, pretty damn skunky smelling when around a nug or two. I have actually had someone ask me outside a bar if i was smoking something sour. You can smell it in the smoke. That is another stand out area, smoke one, leave the room, come back later holy shit the most distinct smell ever. Thanks for the good luck and I am actually here to share a finding on seeds.

hempluvr-easy to miss, but glad you made it before beans start crackin! I love sensi star, the local cut is very very tasty, nice hard nugs, way I like em. Very lemony. This cut I have only had a small sample of, the smell had been mixed with others but what I can say about it is holy bag appeal batman. Not even close to what I have been enjoying for over a year at my local club. I am looking forward to getting to know her. I can say, she is slower then my sour bubble in veg, which is nuts. If she has been around this long and she is that slow, she must be special. I do know she did well at the las vegas 420 gathering this year. Flowering her out next round and will be testing some seeds from her in 6+ weeks, so I get to see her herself and what she passes on. Really getting to know my girls now. I hope I end up with something better then DS to but we will just have to wait and see.
I inspected my bubba kush branches I pollenated today. I can visually find one seed. I assume many are inside the nugs since I pollenated her quite some time ago. I pulled off a small nug where some beans should be and hacked it up. I found 0 seeds The hairs browned out after pollenation, but it was the very first small amount that ever dropped that I used. Hopefully it was good.....I was only hoping for a 20 or so beans from each branch to test out the cross, mostly the males.
On another note, my ecsd x sb plants are 13 days form pollenation and they have huge calyxs beans all over in them. Pretty damn BIG already. I would guess at least 100 off each maybe more. Don't worry once I find a suitable male I will pollenate a bush with a 5 gallon bucket full of pollen and send them in mass quantity.

Same spunk nailed two plants but only knocked one up? Damn that's unfortunate.
I had 3-4 packages of pollen off the first two males, I used the first packages on the katsu which was a pretty small amount. Had plenty of browned out hairs so hoping to atleast find enough to get some kind of sample. Will know in a few weeks crossing my fingers. I was not looking to get right to them anyways so if it is something that still intrest me after finding my dude I wil go back and explore. What I am interested in is the ecsd x sb I will pop 30 of those ASAP after they are ready.

Mmmmm katsu x sour bubble, makes me consider buying a powered wheel chair. Good luck with seed formation. I must say mr 14 is damn studly, hope there are some real gems in the crosses for you. Hope youre staying cool in this oppressively hot assed weather.

Lookin good in here. The SS95' is slow but if ya veg her under a 1k close she'll blow up with a fat ass trunk, nugs top to bottom. She is one of the better cuts going around fur sure. I'm tryin to get a SS mono crop rollin. The Katsu x SB sounds like an amazing cross, nothin but props to those of ya that make room for breeding. I just tossed some great males, hard to see them go but cant afford problems right now. Keep up the good work. 1

FallenBuddha- Sup man! Yeah trying to stay cool, glad the heat is on its way out for now but some how I managed to hold things down through it all and come out with rock hard glazed nugs. 14 is my favorite to but I suspect him to be a mocha pheno but we shall see.
Ranger Rick- It really is bro.
One Love- Ahh soemone with some experience with her. She is hella slow and I am used to some slow shit. The 95' is going into flower in the next few days, she does have some nice trunks on her. I have a sog plant flowering with ecsd pollen on it hopefully it took. The 95' SS does have a killer coat of frost on her so hopefully she impresses me because all the elites I have been running haven't really blown me back at all.
I came to report tonight my first successful seed harvest. Unfortunatley it wasn't a 100% success but I did it damn it lol My favorite male #14 produced a staggering ONE SEED lmao! One is better then none. It was a SMALL amount of pollen and the first pollen I ever collected, maybe it was to early? My #22 male produced 20 seeds, which is about what I was expecting from the start for the smount of pollen used. The katsu bubba cross was purely for fun because I had pollen and pistils but I may end up using some males.
On my ecsd girls, I see the #22 male out yielded the #14 in seeds as well and that pollen was taken much later in much larger amounts. Still there will be plenty though for testing purposes. I expect 100+ form each fo those. I have sacrificed a few seeds on them so I could check the beans and watch production. Another 10+ days and they are done.
So are some males more fertile then others? Did the #14 need to flower longer before I collected pollen?
I am guessing he is not as fertile as the other.

Good question PK. Quite possible the males were not mature enough to get some good pollen. I usually do all my breeding projects outdoors and most of the Sour Bubble male plants are 5-6 feet tall with a ton of pollen.
I stopped using brushes to pollinate the plants a while back. I usually take a nice cut that's bursting and blow the pollen on the desired buds now, and my seed counts are way up.
Some Sour Bubble females can produce 500-1000 seeds per plant. Keep going my friend, I expect to be buying your seeds one day.

Ruger- The whole grow I could only see one bean. I didn't expect to find shit! I raped each limb that I pollenated, broke every nug right off the plant and squished everything 3 times before i declared it seedless. I went from 1 to 20 on the first one I had higher hopes for #14 when I only got one....This was the FIRST pollen to ever touch the glass that was ready to collect. The bubbas happened to be perfect timing when the first pollen started flying so I Figured why not?
Phoenix- Glad to see you man I was hoping you would chime in with your SB experience. Next time I will let the dudes flower out longer and collect more pollen for sure. My Dads are about ready to be cloned and again trying to keep them in a manageable size. I will flower out them out again here real soon and get my pollen storage sitting real fat. Don't worry I won't be quitting anytime soon I am in it for the long haul. Thanks for the tips and a lovely shot as always. Just potted up 8 sour bubble bx4 females, they look promising. I am expecting to see a couple different females then the first run. I have this SUPER branchy sour bubble girl, I am like cmon a seed from another plant must have fell in the bag....she is branchy no topping needed and we are not talking a few. I even noted this on like the 6th node form seed and as I grew her out it becme even more apparent. Will of course get pictures once things get going. Have a couple with crazy thick hollow stems, from my first pack this ended up being a good trait to have.
Had a gnarly heatwave like most of you, my temps have rocked steady all through summer except in veg during that period. (dirty ass filter) I was able to see which males and which females had heat resistence, so that to me was a plus, notes taken.
Hoping to test the ECSD x SB 14 and ESCD x SB 22 ASAP. I am getting ready to move all while keeping production up in four rooms never missing a beat. Have to get moved, 3 harvest right in the middle of moving, literally, sucks ass, and then buildout a new show all consolidated at a new crib. Soon as I settle in this fall I will get 30-60 of them rockin!
Ramblin on now speed typing, just put a Sour B doobie out, phew! Made it 40% down the doob and now I am lit the F up.

So only 1 Katsu x Sour Bubble? Any Sensi Star crosses in the future? I ran 1/2 packs of most of my beans, if there is something special Ill run the rest and find a match for her. The 95ss will impress without a doubt, the Sour Bubble x White Rhino is another big winner that is slowly making its way out. Sounds like your gonna be busy for a while, keep up the good work PK. 1
21 lol, but one male only produced one seed. I was only hoping to get 20 seeds or so of each male. Don't worry when I find my dude I will make a metric shit ton. That cross was just because, had my first pollen, had pistils. I have plenty of the ecsd x sb for testing and identifying which male is worthy if any. When I find him he will be raining pollen on all kinds clones. It will be MUCH easier to see exactly what the males brought to the table on top of the sativa dom ecsd, that katsu would suck! The SS will be reversed and hitting the ecsd after my move, for now my plate is full.
