I'm on my first coco run with just a 1k this round but my second will def be a vert stadium. Much respect to you and Mountain High for sharing some amazing grows and sooo much Knowledge! updates???? lol put 4 confirmed killer chem x legend females into flower, 2 went in 2 weeks ago and the other 2 have been in for a little over a week. there isn't a ton of variation as far as structure/leaf blade shapes but there are a couple that have stand out stanky ass stem rubs, one pheno(#5) is more og stretchy and is also one of the more stinky phenos there are pics up in my vert thread if you want to peep em'. one of the seedlings is still unsexed, and one died early due to seed shell being stuck and i messed it up but as of right now at least 4 of 6 beans were fem.

Alright.. I'm bored. With soil. I want to try a RDWC system in the 4x8. I'm still going to run soil but want to give this a shot as well.

Can any RDWC pros give me some tips (link to BEST homemade RDWC system, nutrient system, anything..) to get me started the right way.

So far I'm leaning towards building my own system. 8 site is what I want. I'd like to fit the 8 site in a 4x8 tent so I'm obviously not looking to grow massive 2 pound plants.

As far as the nutrients go I think I'd like to try canna. Is it possible to use canna and not use a ton of different nutrients? Like a 3 part or something? Any other recommendations that aren't 14 components?

I'm a total newb with anything but soil growing so I appreciate any input.

Been a long time since I've run hydro but, I like the simple lucas formula myself. H&G's Roots Excelurator is a good product to have.

Perfect time to build one with winter coming up... keeps that water cold!

ive built blazes system like 1000 times... super simple e z concept all id change was to add another feed pump to drippers on the hydroton and pump three times a day for 15 minutes....

as for the rest simple tips... keep the water level under the net pots... and be careful on organic nutes.


Have you ever tried IONIC? its a super simple 1 part nutrient that works great for rdwc.... i have a buddy that also run floranova with great success... also a 1 part.


The key with rdwc is water temps... a chiller is almost ALWAYS needed... water temps need to stay around 68-72 degrees... have anyother question get at me.
