I find each of these attractive...I'll be seeing plenty of Flo and god knows what else...shit maybe a fat leafed indica of some sort...no idea on this Hashberry thingy afterall....just a pollen donor to a dominant female who cares little what pedigree gets with her. Slappity Slap off her lip...riding loose into her genetic pit...



I think I have 4 mutants in the Cindy Moon Jones population as well...all told...yet those seem to be keeping up with the non mutants. Maybe a couple are a little slow...I could option them out to the corral for some veg time enhancements if needed.

Two Odessa (Casey Jones X Cindy Jones) were partially pollinated with the blended Odessa/SFV x Ghost X Ghost (kush) pollen. I also pollinated another one of the Kush plants...

This is what the Sour Diesel clone is looking like at 50some days....definitely a Diesel....no idea which one though. It's been around San Diego for a long time now. Once hoarded by a local...now partially pollinated by yours truly. Nothing mind blowing to cultivate....kind of run of the mill



I guess there is a total of 5 mutated Cindy Moon Jones (Blue Moonshine X Cindy Jones)....and this is what they are looking like



Everything is running fairly smooth....I have some girls flushing out in the pit...the Squat Ma Kettle and a Cleveland Sage....even though the days are long it doesn't seem to matter to the flushing plants...also pretty damn warm out there....finishing up nicely regardless.

The ghetto bastard is on a cheese diet...along with some peanut buttered bread. Didn't puke yesterday or today....so I'm thinking he just scamming me for the cheese (his favorite thing in life).... a crafty veteran. He may live forever.

I pick the wifey up tonight...figures the dog is better now. I even ran him this morning...imagine that...from death's door to playing Kong ball. I don't call him "The Jackal" for nothing...always on the hustle.

As far as the mutants in the CMJ and Fuk It populations....I am blessed once again. They are the kind that grow and are productive. I have a thing for mutants...I find them attractive, garden changing, and fascinating. But that's me....I could see where the grower not expecting mutations would be thrown off the horse. Not for everyone.

But seriously...look at them...they are wonderful plants to behold. I am a huge DJ Short fan....even if at times....it sounds like I am not. I can't seem to put the things down....I'm starting to see some light in the Cleveland Sages now....my confidence in them is building finally. Just need to avoid the overly blueberries.

....or he wanted me to steam clean his carpet lol...he thinks he runs me....and I'm thinking he may be correct. For 11yrs I've catered to him...bailed him out of jail, cleaned him up after a skunk spray, chased him all over the beach...unreal. I love my dogs...give them a great life. Spoiled like eggs.

If there is Blue lines in a cross...you eventually run up (against) on it. I just don't like certain expressions as I've pointed out. That's why I like my hybrids....I know what works for me. Also...I should add...the expressions I don't care for....I would care for if I could run them proper and outdoors. I don't like them indoors.

Those two Odessa I'm showing are insane....those are a lot of fun. I'm glad I made that cross....paying me dividends now...here in the 2nd generation. I'm way stoked.

EDIT: Hey unc...DG didn't use the 2.2 in that cross....think she used an earlier generation line up.

I have no doubts in her abilities or yours. I read about all the happy growers....one can not argue with that. I like a lot of what she is doing in her program. Maybe someday some of her genetics will end up in my program? Never know....

Performance...yup...absolutely damn straight.

I just mess with you unc....she treats you well....she has a great catalog....but...she pissed me off at one point. Now that point is way past...I slide over and look in her forum from time to time. I'm an adult lol....but I don't take shit from anyone...especially concerning where I reside. Call it localism....other than that...I'm all peace

she does reward loyalty....but she still had to earn that loyalty,and just as important my respect...its worked out rather well for me as you can see....thing is,even if i did have to pay for 100% of the seeds i would still be running them,just not as many at once!

by fall i hope to have a slightly bigger space to work in so some other breeders work will get some space,but the bulk will no doubt remain DGS,if it aint broken dont fix it!

Agree. If you have found a sweet spot...stay in it as long as it lets you. Flipping through her genetic catalog....yup...there is some good stuff in there.

I've been out and about (technically speaking) in search of some new infusions for what I'm doing. I love the stuff I'm coming up with in my program....but I see others working with genetics that interest me. I enjoy growing other's work...it really helps me to get to know them in a way.

To me...it is a very personal thing...breeding plants. Reflects many different things about the breeder...temperaments, personality, visions, sense of direction...etc...When I'm talking on here with peeps that I've never met...may never meet...but enjoy their work...I get a better idea of that grower after I grow their work and see what it is they are drawn to in their plants.

Often...I can follow a thread of theirs...grow out their work and come up with the same general concept...ie...understand what it is about their plants that makes them tick as cultivators. Very rewarding way of getting to know a grower/breeder.

That is why....I prefer beans not involved in the passing of cash...cash is cool...making a living is necessary...but I prefer a more private/intimate hand shake. I like the personal touch that the private breeders put into their work. You could argue that it is more hit or miss...but in reality...I've found the opposite to be true....all about understanding your guy.

The private peeps generally view it as more of an art form...rather than what is going to sell and what is not going to sell. I also like that the private peeps are much more in the wind...here today..gone tomorrow. It is more a chaotic scene...little is safe and secure. I'm there...I would not want to be anywhere else...especially the mainstream.

Most of us start in the mainstream bean markets to get our collections started....some set goals to stay in the mainstream and be a part of the mainstream themselves....others swim off into their own channels and mess about in their own pools...depends I guess on many factors and goals...logistics and time....satisfaction...or never satisfied. There is no wrong way...unless you are fucking someone over.

These are the Blueberry dominated phenotypes. The two in the background are the plants that will be hashed up (they were both accidentally pollinated with the SFV x Ghost X Ghost male)....the plant in the front will be smoked as a flower.

Long daylight hours and temps in the 90's.....doesn't seem to bother them. They've been in the pit for a wk plus...

I have 2 more Sages behind by a couple/few weeks. Those phenotypes are different from each other and from the standard BB phenos I'm showing here. I will have a new spin on BBS coming up in one of those expressions....looks like the BB locked into the Kali Mist or the Space Queen....hard to say...but she is beautiful. The other plant looks like the Kush genes motivated its expression....nice as well.

I've been very busy pollinating the Hell Hound project......and getting together my next wave of plants. All the Hell Hound plants are in flower and are killing it. Not one slagging plant expression...not one....the hunting grounds are bountiful. Stoked.

i guess its true about 12/12 just being a general guidline,wish i had the sort of space i could experiment in with different light cycles,may be able to hang my led in the flower room soon along with the 1000w halide and 400w hps,should be a pretty freaky spectrum blend going on...

Have you ever grown/smoked any kali Mist? I havn't, from what I've read she's real nice, isn't she serious' version of NL5 X Haze??.I'd love to give her a shot sometime, I bet there's some great taste in there.
