First off, GH has never claimed to be for MJ; it is for General Hydroponics.
AN has been claiming its for MJ for... what close to 10 years?

GH has not reformulated in that period, AN has done it 4 or 5 (or more) times.

So if AN is making nutrients specifically for MJ, why does their formula change every 18-24 months?

Let Big Mike explain this very simple quandary, then he might earn some respect.

Mean, he's been marketing weed for much longer than 10 years... at the very least, since early 90's. And that means not being able to do biz w the major distributors & fighting the system.

I currently do not use any of their products, just my observations as a consumer, which is what most of the comments here are. But they clearly market to the weed... always have.

i know this guy that fell inot the hype after watching the nute challenge he switched from dutch master with super natural to all advanced. he burned the shit out of 3 crops, and the high cost of food almost broke him.he sold motorbike and truck bought shit car and started using kiss maxibloom. he bught the huge 16 pound maxi for 90 bucks and few additives he says what used to run him 1000 every 2 months is basicaly 150 bucks, and doubled his yield until he went vertical and he now tripples his old yield. i saw it and i can tell you guys this guy almost lost everything he had due to 3 bad crops from using advanced nutes feeding schedule, he cut down the strength in half uses a fifth of the money he used to use and when i went to the bar for the game the other night he had a wad of hundrends and a big smile on his face. and thanked me for telling him about maxibloom. i got free drinks all night

i would say that everything you just talked about that guy doing...... is all his OWN FAULT. first of all it sounds like the dude bought every product they have, that was his first mistake. i dont love AN, nor do i hate AN, but id never buy every product. also i would never use AN's feeding schedule, always cut in half or more, and work yourself up. if your buddy did his research he would have known all that.

Your friend does not sound very bright.. I have used every single product from AN just about, and they ALL work as long as you use them CORRECTLY. Just like every other nute company.

Actually what he writes was true. Back in the early 2000's when AN was trying to push hard in Canada their feed charts would be burning the crap out of peoples crops. Seen this LOTS of times with crazy nutrient lockout and uncontrollable yellowing starting very early in the flower stage.

The first time they introduced their 2+ program it was the same thing. Pretty sad to use your customers as guinea pigs/test cases.

Yaahhh so what kind of testing did they do before printing the feed charts? Seems like not much.

If you buy a drug from the pharmacy, and your kid dies because of an overdose while you gave it in the recommended rates written on the label, it's your fault, why didn't you made your own research, or worked up your way to the recommended rates? You should have known this, man...
