late reversing?

late reversing?

its a big shame i didnt have time to spray with cs and its realy to late now to do it so im just going to flower and do the cs grow next when the tent is empty .

I read this just now after applying c.s. late @ 2-3 weeks flowering, am I wasting my time?, I couldn't find anything about reversing a female already in flower but making the silver was easy enough so I wanted to try it out. I just trimmed the buds off two branches and add c.s. daily, maybe 10 days in so far.

sound cheers . do u use the mixer too ? good price to £134 without shipping to the uk .

I use the heat mixer instead of the magnetic one and it works fine. Basically it's a globe in a base and the cs jar sit's on top of it. The heat generated by the globe creates currents in the jar and circulates the solution.

I live in Australia so it's easier to get here, bizarre.

cool . how long does a brew take to make 30ppm plus ?

my 1 9v battery set up (homemade ) has took under 24h to make 27 ppm .

I don't measure ppm or ec, I just cook it for a day or so and start spraying, 2-3 weeks later.......reversal.

Hey guys I need some advice please!!

I made some colloidal silver some time ago and apart of trashing a vintage regulable ac-dc converter (still don't know why, left it overnight but during the process it started doing funny noises and I turned it off, it stopped working for ever) the second time I did it it came out pretty well, silver somewuat decomposed, water turned slightly dark, end product seems fine.

I reserved some clones to start with the sex reversal operation and sprayed 'em every morning with the product undiluted. Most plants showed leaf damage some days after spraying, one of them even wilted almost entirely leaving just one branch alive but I kept spraying on succesive days. That's up until today and none of my clones is showing but normal female preflowers...

How is this possible?? I've had some intersex issues in the past due to stress, improper growing or whatever but this plants which I'm not treating really well at all and spraying them with a supposed ethylene inhibitor and they just develop normally, it's not fair fuck!!

Very informative thread. I have been told that CS can be used to kill of single cell pathogens and in this way can be used as a sort of insecticide and or fungicide.urban legend or fact?

Sorry if these questions has already been asked

how do you know when its completely ready ?

also

after you got your c.s solution made up

how long is it good for ?

and can you keep using the same silver wire to make up some more or do you need a fresh piece of silver each time

hey all . ive been speaking to someone who makes cs for health for a living . he was saying a tds meter will not tell you what ppm the cs is .
what do you guys make of it ??

heres a copy of the email he sent me .

This might sound a bit complicated as a TDS meter will only measure purity & temperature of the water, you can get a very rough idea of ppm by using the following formula: The equation for estimating the PPM of the colloidal silver is as follows:

( Final Meter Reading - Initial Distilled Water Reading ) X Adjustment/Conversion Factor = PPM Colloidal Silver.

A standard conversion factor used by many producers is 1.2; however, this number will not be entirely accurate, and depends upon many variables that cannot be easily isolated. The 1.2 specification applies to my own Colloidal Silver Generator thus can vary with any other type. Colloidal silver is 80-85% ionic, 15%-20% particulate. Keep in mind that the TDS meter will not register any particulate silver in the CS product; this is why a conversion factor is required. Sorry if that sounds complicated but that is why TDS meters measure the ions but conversely they cannot detect the particles. Which is why I always recommend a laser pen. You will get a more accurate idea of particle size. Think I've got brain ache now!!

So if the C.S stresses the plant and makes it hermi ( if im understanding right ) so it can pollinate it self

is it possible to just let my female plant stress it self with something like ( Light Leak ) during the 12/12 dark cycle and force it to self pollinate and get fem seeds ?

Active components are silver ions, rather than the metal particles, whose number is totally irrelevant. No motive to measure or calculate the number of them. Metal particles only worsen the solution of the CS, making clustered ions inactive. To obtain a high concentration of ions, they should be removed from the solution by filtration.

TDS meter measures the conductivity of the solution, which depends on the concentration of ions. This is exactly what the most significant measurement, which characterizes the quality of the CS for flip purposes.

In the "medical" use of the CS is nothing more than an antiseptic broad profile, which also successfully kills all living things, as do the bismuth or lead.

Yep, my plants did that too, looked like shit for a while and then reversed. I found the lower leaves die quite quickly and gradually spread upwards. But the top growth and about 1/2 way down had totally reversed and produced viable pollen. Although not a lot of seed was produced it worked I consider the process succesful.
