My first was a classic Volcano. Great vape, gets the job done, you can crank the temp with moderate precision, but I could never get used to puffing from a balloon. There is something about being able to slouch back in my favorite chair with a bowl in front of me. Sucking on a balloon just never felt right and it doesn't last nearly long enough for my kind of session.
So I moved on to the Iolite, which lasted for about 2 weeks before I decided it was crap. It's portable I guess. There, I said something nice about it.
Next up was the Extreme Q, which has a lot of nice features and can work any way you want it to. The only knock for me in terms of features is the cap on temperature if you want to play around with hash. The auto shutoff is a nice feature as well as the precision temperature control. I don't think I ever even tried the balloon because using the whip with a well filled bowl did come close to replacing the smoking ritual for me. I used the Q for quite some time. The blower stopped working at some point but that wasn't a problem for the way I used it. It did say something about the quality of the product IMO.
In the meantime I still wanted a portable vape and the Iolite didn't cut it for me. The MFLB does a pretty good job although managing batteries can be a bother sometimes. Nothing I have seen beats it for stealth. For me it doesn't serve as my comfort zone vape but as I read somewhere else, it does the job well until you get where you are going.
I started playing around with hash a lot because my garden gives me that luxury so I decided i wanted something I could vape hash in. I dabbled with the Eclipse vape and it is a "safer" way to consume hash but holding a lighter to a glass vial is too crackhead for me. If you can get past that hangup and have a good supply of vials it does do what it is advertised to do.
For my everyday vape I switched from the Q to the Silver Surfer. Its design is very simple but it executes its purpose very well. The accessory for holding the bowl in place is a must and should be included. I am sure you can get a bong accessory but it was never something I looked into. The temperature dial leaves a little to be desired for precision but you can definitely crank it up. The lack of an auto shutoff feature and the nature of the herb being consumed I think can lead to inflated electrical bills from leaving the SSV on for hours, sometimes days. Some people might not like using a whip but for me it is the only way to vape. Like I said the design is simple but the work is solid and there is nothing that can break on the expensive part of the unit. Sure you can break the bowl but it is glass.
So my vote is for Silver Surfer because it does what I want very well. If you want flexibility get the Q. If all you want is a balloon then get the Volcano, although I could never justify the cash for the digital version. For portability, the MFLB.
Either way any vape is a great choice for your lungs. Enjoy.

Didn't know that, but would still buy direct from Arizer, as they treated me really well. When I had to return my original Extreme, they told me just to send the machine, not all the other paraphernalia. When they sent the replacement Extreme Q, they sent all new paraphernalia, so now I have two of everything. There's some stuff in there that I don't even know what it is, but i have two of them.
Extreme Q was ahead yesterday! someone tied it with the volcano today.....
keep in mind that the volcano is just better quality , produces thick tasty vapor

if you like balloons the balloon system of the extreme Q is a pain in the ass compared to the easy click volcano system
and you can drop the volcano on the floor many ma,ny times , it wont break and keep going smooth

if you are cheap, go with the extreme. if $600 aint a big deal, than i would do the volcano.

OK, I finally voted here although my favorite (VaporGenie) wasn't listed, @ $55.00 delivered it will blow you away with huge vape hits.
Use 'Vector Quintuple Refined Butane' for the cleanest burn, use it w/the VaporGenie, the Extreme Q & certainly for all of your BHO extraction needs.......
bought in bulk online it's actually fairly cheap compared to any regular brands sold in tobacco or wal mart stores.

for portable i recomend the iolite. mine broke a year into it and a month ago, just before the warranty expired, i mailed it into them and they mailed me a brand new one. Great portable vape that looks like a cellphone. I've vaped with it in bars late night on weekends, walking down the street, riding a bike on the beach etc.
i did vote for the volcanoe though as it comes with a balloon which fills very quickly. also, some dispensarys carry a generic volcanoe for $225 plus tax. same thing but no warranty.

Why do you use butane with a vaporizer?
Also, when I hear "huge vape hits", I kind of think "smoke", not vapor, ie, some herb might be getting incinerated. Not saying this is in your case, just that it happens with some cheap vaporizers.
extreme q is the jam, fucking perfect pce of machinery!
I don't burn the weed, it's PURE vape, I neglected to use the word smoke because it isn't.......Why do you use butane with a vaporizer?

you use butane because the Vapor Genie is lit by a lighter and the Extreme Q portable is a butane fired vaporizer also.
and for $55.00 the VaporGenie will AMAZE you with its hits, w/in 4 or 5 bowls you'll have it halfway mastered, 10 hits later you'll laugh @ those anemic Volcano 'see through' bags of weak vapors.
my Vapor Genie exhales look like I milked a bong, please understand that superior weed w/muito resin is a must to use.
Extreme Q does not use butane. It is electronic.
