Topic should be reading:

"
Keychains Containing LIVE Turtles and Fish" (maybe a mod can edit that?)

Using prisoners as non voluntary organ donors, tainting food with stuff that kills our Babies and pets, a few more things we all already know about and now this crap!

But hey meanwhile they still allow Tiger abuse they banned animal circuses.

Maybe China should go back to cute, plastic keyrings, like this one.

Live turtles and fish to carry around on your key ring is a cute idea. Not so cute, though, for said turtles and fish.
According to Chinese media, the hottest new fad in China involves selling small live-animal key chains. The little turtles and fishes are sealed up in airtight plastic key rings, and sold as trinkets.

So how do you feed an animal in an airtight container? The answer: You don't. Vendors reportedly spew off some hodge podge about the water being nutrient rich, but it's not true. The animals, if they're lucky, get to live for a few days. Unfortunately, the whole shebang is legal.
It's sad but true — animal cruelty laws barely exist in China. It was only just recently that the country banned animal circuses, which was a fairly unusual step. Zoos would often make animals perform unimaginable tricks, while dishing up their flesh as exotic entrees at the zoo restaurant.

When I saw the video of that chinese family happily eating the half fried/half living fish that's when I knew there's something wrong with that culture and how they treat the animals. The video shows the chef cooking the fish in some oil for about 15 seconds but he makes sure to keep the head out of the oil so that the fish remains "alive". After the frying he serves it up on a platter to this family. The fish is literally sucking air and it's being picked apart by chopsticks. That was enough for me.

Chinese zoos are the worst, their culture has little respect for animals.

I read they are inventing aborted baby face mood rings. The ring displays an aborted baby fetus face, and changes depending on your mood.

But seriously, I know people do not want to know this, but the Chinese actually EAT aborted baby fetuses in soup. It's a delicacy for the rich moronic animal lusting filth. China is a degraded nation of animals, but it's not their fault, completely. Their leadership is not really communist, either. It's capitalist/communist, where the state owns every business but the businesses compete with each other and the global economy.

If you think this is sickening, then quite supporting monsters like China, and quit shopping at Walmart and other shit stores.

Speceism is a crazy thing. Life no matter how small is precious. Now I am not a vegan, but I give thanks to whatever animal I eat. I appreciate its nutrients and hope that its life wasn't in vein. Waste not want not.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong wit that Bongripken for sure. I'd be a total hypocrite if I said I don't like eating meat. The problem I have is they were not trying to end the animals life in as quick and humane a way as they could, rather, they were actively prolonging it's life so they could enjoy it's suffering while they ate it. Absolutely disgusting and in no way something a "civilized" society should ever put up with. This was not some hole in the wall place either, it was a nice restaurant with table service the whole shebang. Sickening

I completely agree! I am a pretty tough dude and used to be a fighter until I became too injured and then ill. Well, I watched "Watch Humans" and was pretty damn choked up over it. No crying or nothing, but I have been battered and broken and felt fine. It was a feeling of anger and sadness for the things we do to these defenseless creatures. I hate the way slaughter houses are run and how they don't care that a cow has it's throat slit spewing blood, but is still alive for almost an hour or more. That process has to be much more humane and cleaner. To be honest I dont consume dairy products, eat red meat, or pork. I am mainly a veggie eater, but chicken, turkey, and fish keep me sane :/

Method

At only a few weeks of age, a kitten's bones have not yet hardened and become osseous. They are extremely soft and springy. In fact, if you take a week-old kitten and throw it to the floor, it will actually bounce! We do not recommend that you try this at home. The kitten may bounce under the furniture and be difficult to retrieve, as well as covered in unsightly household dust. However, the flexibility of the kitten's skeleton means that if the bones are gently warped at this early age, they can be molded into any desired shape. At Bonsai Kitten, we achieve this by placing the kitten into a rigid vessel soon after birth, and allowing the young cat to grow out its formative time entirely within this container. The kitten essentially grows into the shape of the vessel! Once the cat is fully developed, it is removed (or the vessel broken to remove it!), producing the lovable, furry pet you've always wanted, but it remains in the shape you've always dreamed of! There is virtually no limit to the eventual shape of your pet.
Practical Considerations

At Bonsai Kitten, we are happy to take care of all the little details and simply deliver to you a fully shaped kitten according to your specifications. However, for those who have applied for and received the appropriate Bonsai Kitticulture permits from the U.S. government, we are happy to provide details of the procedure to those who want to start from "scratch"! There are three main requirements that must be considered when making a Bonsai Kitten:
Air. This ought to go without saying, but you'd be surprised how many amateurs forget this detail and wind up with a cold, hard kitty in the morning! If the containment vessel is sealed, you must drill airholes prior to kitten insertion. A diamond drill is recommended for glass vessels.
Food & Water. Especially if the kitten's head is being shaped (one of the most versatile aspects of the Bonsai Kitten), it will not be able to eat or drink normally. The most common solution is another hole in the container with a feeding tube to the kitten's mouth, where a liquid food slurry can provide both nutrient and hydration requirements.
Waste Removal. Left to its own devices, the kitten would quickly fill its vessel with its own urine and feces, leading to certain sickness and death, not to mention the inevitably unpleasant appearance and odor. The best solution is to seal the kitten's anus with Super Glue prior to insertion, and then insert a waste tube through a third whole in the vessel. As the kitten's body is still developing, a natural rectal diverticulum will soon form around the tube, which can be drained in any convenient fashion. It's just like a kitty colostomy bag!
