Interesting thread when it's on topic.
So let me see if I got this right here -
OGBubba's "kush" plant (did he say it was NL stock from NoCal?) hermied, and pollinated his "bubba" plant (what are the genetics of the bubba?) and a Purple Indica to make Bubba Kush and Purple Kush. That the jist of it?

On a somewhat related side note, I am working a landrace afghan from Uruzgan area, from a nice green river valley a few hundred kilometers West/SouthWest of the Hindu Kush. A couple pheno's look like sisters of the Bubba Kush, and even resemble her in smell. Only difference is the lack of coffee/cappuccino, these smell of just pure sweet hash. Other pheno's range from mint to lemons and one I found wreaks of grape kool aid, all with sweet hash. The minty and lemon pheno's stay green, while the sweet hash and grape kool aid pheno's turn purple, the grape kool aid solid purple.

Ok done babbling here, I really just wanted to subscribe to this thread and see how it all plays out.

I just remembered I have this chart in My album. I cant vouch for it, but it looks somewhat reasonable

According to this chart ogbubba is claiming that his bubba(before he crossed it with Florida Triangle kush) is really west coast dawg. West coast dawg was not "Created" Florida. This is very well documented. West coast dawg was made post 91 not 90 like ogbubba also claims. To be honest several people I know claim different: that the original bubba was a freak pheno that came from southern california masterkush cross(most likely la affie). I lean towards believing their story. Has anyone sampled west coast dawg? Flavor is very different from bubba in IMO. Bubba is more of a sandalwood flavor than humbolt purps.

This guy may have had the FTK and drove it to cali but several of my friends claim that someone else brought the cut to cali years before 96. I feel that true OG Kush is an S1 of 91 chemdawg and that is why cuts have showed up on both coasts.

I feel that legally any human cannot take claim for accidental crosses. The plant(s) created the crosses themselves. Acts of nature/ God(s)! Furthermore I expand my ruling towards all strains that have any claim of human creation or ownership. Sentencing will begin after a brief recess!

Im just gonna say it;
the Apothecary cut gets overlooked abit unfairly,
the structure is slightly more sat and you will spend 20% more time focusing her, she outyields the following cuts i have run:
larry, fire, tahoe, sfv, diablo [havnt run the others].
Additionally, when we trim her, there are no appearant loose glands, like the others. The cyclops thingy revesls much, smaller gland structue w/ fewer stalked, more sessiles.

The effect is sim yet slighly more joyous like bubba. flavor if you gott her dialed is every bit of fresh tennis ball ...

I had a buddy that got some seeds from Afghanistan in 1977. Its the best Afghani Ive ever smoked. He mixed it with Red Leb that came out of Lebanon in early 1977. The hybrid won all festivals in Placerville area for a decade at least. The original grower is in his late 60s, and no longer has the strain.

I gave my buddy seeds in the mid 80s from this strain. He said He has them still in storage, if he can find them in all the boxes. I may have to give him a cash offer to lite a fire under his ass. This Red Leb /Afghani Hybrid was wonderful. Every single plant.
