This should be interesting.those lvpk should surpass that bubba in no time,especially since they got roots poking out.

What size net pot is that? Vs what your others are? I am considering 10" based on a few posts I saw.. But then again people grow massively productive plants with 6" as well as 3" net pots too... GreenThumb, you've done some DWC/RWDC before, what's your opinion on net pot size?

Ya I'm kinda glad that the bubba is larger than the LVPK right now. And the the LVPK should pass them in no time.
The net pots in the UC are 10", The one the bubba came in was 5".
This rez consisted of Liquid Karma, Flora Nectar, Roots excel, a small amount of zone, veg nutes are Heavy 16 A & B.

Temps are getting to hot during the day. Garage is uninsulated and just bakes. As if more things couldn't go wrong and I had more room to spare. I was forced to cram a portable AC unit in there. My new problem is when the AC runs the tent is in so air tight that it is sucking the tent in.
Sooo with the issue in hand I might be building my 8'x12'x8 build out sooner than expect. Tents are fun but if you have the option to do a build out. DO IT.

Tents definitely suck when you are working in an room that isn't insulated..
How is that portable AC working for you in there? Its not giving off too much heat itself and canceling out the cooling effects? I had to run mine outside and duct the cool air in. Kept the tent cooler and didnt take up any space..

This is going to be a temp solution for now. Maybe just this grow. I'm kinda ridding at the seem of my pants here. Wishing I would have done a build out in the first place. The condenser air (hot air) runs out that tube and gets thrown into the garage. The AC runs for about 2-3 mins just pulling it down to 70 then waiting till it gets back to around 80 or so.

I feel your pain with the limited space and having to use the portable AC. It's a PIA but you might want to insualate that duct coming off the portable. The insulation should help out with temps a little. Also, running your lights at night (at least during bloom) can help with the temp issue.
Can you throw a window unit AC in your garage somewhere?

I'm like a sponge always soaking up information where I can. I am running the lights in the evening. Temps outside are in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Are you kidding me that is free AC. I am pulling in OSA (out side air) through an 8" inline fan cooling that light. That AC only runs during the day when it gets hot inside of the uninsulated building.
My build out of the that I am planning for will have a 8000 btu AC unit and will be fully automated.

Hygrozyme similar to Liquid Karma ? What do you run with your cutting edge solution?
Made and adjustment with my humidity controller. It controls a dehumidifier or humidifier. Not both. There is NO dead band for it. It is humidifying or dehumidifying. The controller is the CAP HUM-1. So I disconnected the dehumidifier and connected humidifier. Has been running for 4 hours I reset the high and low for humidity. It has been running between 55%-70%. We will see how it does over night. Thanks for the tips.

Got some big Movin Cools in at work today. Damn do I wish I had a set up big enough to use these bad boys.
Plants are looking great. I finally got the humidity dialed in and the leaves are starting to POP up on the plants.

Hey kbudz no worries on butting in. The more information that is gained here the better.
After doing some reading in my "Marijuana Horticulture" Book by Jorge Cervantes. In the section Air on page 335 it says
"With temperature, consistent humidity promotes healthy, even growth. Relative humidity level affects the transpiration rate of the stomata. When humidity is hugh, water evaporates slowly. The stomata close, transpiration slows, and so does plant growth. Water evaporates quickly into drier air causing stomata to open, increasing transpiration, fluid flow and growth. Transpiration in arid condition will be rapid only if there is enough water available for roots to draw in. If water is inadequate, stomata will close to protect the plant from dehydration, causing growth to slow."

Sorry to jump in, but I saw the pic of roots and looks like what my roots did during the onset of my brown algae which I thought was just stain from floranova/liquid karma. After I got it cleaned up the dark tint went away. Just a heads up, you would be able to tell if it was from the roots since they won't have that tough healthy feeling to them, but instead that thin layer of mucous like substance.
Plants look great though! Love the genetics, I just got a cut of PK myself. It's ******'s OG x Grape Ape.
