be careful herbal ex... those smoke reports are real emotional breakdowns and they have longer lasting effects than just the duration of the high. it's good to have perspective on yourself and the limits of your personality. however, be careful of what you wish for.

thanks for starting this thread. it is very important to bring light to the dark side of what cannabis is capable of doing. basically, the only thing that gets me through the few really horrific cannabis experiences has been my yoga practice and pranayama abilities (which aren't anything super special, but REALLY come in handy when a panic attack is imminent). super anxiety provoking cannabis always seems to have the lessons of control built into it. it will make you do what is absolutely the best thing you can do for yourself at that very moment (which for me almost always means yoga of some sort). unfortunately, many people don't know what the best thing for them in the moment is, and they run around like chicken with it's head cut off.

jack herer induced total anxiety/paranoia in me.....everything was uncomfortable with this cut..though i am sure there are some that i would like..the upper corners of my field of vision was like being pulled streched and i am sure i could see little green globs rise and float around my eye balls as if i was totally taken over by the thc monster...like air bubbles rising to the top in a fish tank....i was no good for man nor beast..i felt off all week looking back-nervous-though undefined......a pathological self conscious feeling that could almost be perceived by the whole world ..get me out of here.....

personally for me, I'd say bubbleberry. The herb was incredibly flavorful like blueberry gum but I did not like the high at all. Not so much paranoid as just totally wasted. I would compare the high to a narcotic or a drunk feeling. If I wanna be drunk I will drink, certain heavy indicas just totally innebriate me. I would say the high from this herb is somewhat similar to GDP only more intense.

Oh and durban has always been known as a less potent strain, like what you could smoke all day kinda stuff. Never grown it or smoked it but I want to.

thanks for the different perspective on bubbleberry that is one strain that has had my attention for the future...with its reported euphoric qualities and playful high....i hate indica narcotic highs i may check this strain more.......

I remember once a couple years back I faced a 1.5+ gram joint of very strong haze, all in one sitting. The only time in my life I've been uncomfortably high. I could smoke BHO is bubble all day long and not be that messed up mentally.

I love haze.

I had a pheno of Jock Horror that just 'noided me out badly. It was a monster plant, top cola like a 2 liter soda bottle and absolutely covered in trichomes. Definitely the most potent Nirvana gear I've grown. Awesome foxtailing buds, sandalwood taste. But man, it tore your head off, made your heart pound and left you jumpy and paranoid.

I sent some to my brother, and he called me up and said "I haven't smoked shit that made me this paranoid since we were kids!".

Definitely not for people with anxiety disorder.

A strain called "Jacks Cleaner" is almost not even smokable it's so intense and anxiety ridden

funny you should say that cos ive just pulled a strain i crossed and it has jacks cleaner in it.

the high is rushy, paranoid, headfuckness i dont like it at all. you cant get comfortable, you constantly check the window every time a car comes by, its like being on cracfk for hours, that kind of feeling. but not as bad, also after a bong it makes everything go yellow. ive culled her now and wont be growing it again.

she was a lemon venom x hog then backcrossed 2 times. really finicky plant you only had to stress her a lil bit and bam hermi all over the place.

Ugh...Dutch Passion's Power Plant. Hate that shit.... I would smoke it while I was trimming in a large grow op and would always think a swat team was coming through the door when I heard noises. Made my heart pound.....hated it.

Sensi seeds 4 way that a friend grew,weird stuff,every bud seemed to have a different effect.Some had a nice happy stoned effect but others would literally suck the happiness out of you,worst feeling i've ever had from weed.

I'll let it go a bit longer next time to see if it might help, but i never smoke it alone. I need a strong indica to counteract it, or i'll get all anxious and zippy.

To all those that think that Durban is a peaceful strain have not smoked the REAL Durban Poison. Its call Poison for a reason. The NL5xDurban I have comes and goes in waves, hence the name, The Jeffery. You will smoke it and be all stoned and then all of a sudden find yourself looking around, white knuckle, heart pounding, about to freak out and then it comes back down again and goes back up again...I love rollercoasters.
