BS AND I CALL. The majority of these folks have less than 6,000 watts. The 100+ pound guys don't say anything. Let's try to keep it real please. JJ, I rock 2400 watts and have no veg room. If I could pull 100+ pounds per year, well... you'd have to give me my own sub-forum because that would be some revolutionary organic growing.
the people he is talking 'bout use the big hps in the sky...

admittedly, there are many of them. up north mostly, but everywhere in the state really. still... there is more going on here than just whiney outdoor growers who push hundreds of pounds. Most of us just bump what we need to get by in a garage or granny unit.

Well, you better look around a little before calling BS......

I'm not going to throw any numbers around, but I know many myself. And I'm not even from Cali.....

I left a thread up the other day regarding the east and west coast because I thought it would be important once this argument got going again. And I've recently noticed many people outside Cali getting upset with what's going on.... And as time goes on a lot more will get upset. It's one thing when one crew can grow legally, but it's another when they start affecting the livlihood of those that can't. Imagine how you'd feel when you can't get rid of things for a decent price because someone that can produce 10 times what you can legally is undercutting costs in your area? I'll leave it at that.... But I think you get the idea......

I wish I could talk more candid, but those that know will understand what I'm saying....

so what I missed is: you and others are upset because CA as a whole (not just growers, growers barely vote) decided to not decrim on the state level with 19. And this is due to the affects on your pound price wherever you are? (sad violin playing in the background)... really?

Many of us left our families, friends, and careers behind to be here. It's a choice we made. It's called good business. It's called don't end up in prison for the family, and for my anal virginity. Don't put your state's mmj issue's on our backs. (see blago quote). I shouldn't go on but you know what I mean. I am for every single state creating MMj laws. This may force the fed's hand to reschedule, then we are really talking about some changes. Ground up, right? That's how things grow...? Look at amdam, I hear it's better here (CA) than there already for the little guy.

Obama is in a tough situation. If we have a GOP president in 2012 it's trouble for MMj states and industry... and farmers. For me, protecting what we have is where our energy needs to be until the balance tilts back in democrat favor. This may be 5 years or even 9. Good old two party system d'oh (8(l)

post edit: i would also like to point out that your (mr scorpio) perception may be skewed due to being an original don donna (aka big mon aka sir) who hangs out with other dons ect... we are not all balling. most of us cannot make enough to pay back our student loans or pursue advanced degrees.

OK, let me see if I can say this a little clearer and easier to understand.

Hypothetically, why would someone in NY pay 2800 when they can get Cali "med bud" as you say, for 1400? Do you get it now?

Good point JJ, and to illustrate it, a conversation I had with someone today.
First, we are right up near Canada, not in it, but close.
So I talk to a guy I haven't heard from in a few weeks today and ask what he's been up to.
Turns out he has been driving all the way down to CA to pick up a couple Lbs and then driving back with it.
Even with that huge drive factored in he's still getting it cheaper then he can here, and that's BS, I can only imagine how bad it affects the states close to CA.
CA weed should stay in CA.

that is crazy low. almost unbelievable, but I am sure it is true, it's blown up out here. That's what happens with perfect terroir. Everyone and their grandma can make pounds, easy as pie. I know some numbers and that's nothing I have heard, at all, anywhere, from anyone. 20 per bulk... and I hear it was going for 45+ out east.

You wish. You know you love it ;) mmm so tasty, and not beasters or schwag, bonus points. I remember college, and I had my indoor going on. When the cali weed came around it would piss me off too. Then I moved here so I can :moon: all you. no offense

I'd rather talk to Gypsy and get the OK before discussing this any further.... Although it involves "med weed" which is legal, it's still illegal in other areas so we might be getting into a bad area.....

of course, i apologize. respect to that.

Hey all you expats & out of staters that want to walmart this commodity. Machine trimmed is night & day from hand trimmed. If the quality was there I'd do it, I'm all for saving a buck but I can't justify the quality loss & I've tried the beat reel trimmers Aka trim scene solutions. It just ain't quality. Sams is walmart quality if that is his idea of the future. Why do it by hand when your quaffin' fine wines snacking on foie gras getting rich with your pinkie in the air.

Wish I could change the laws here, but change does not happen without the people being ready for the change, and here they are not, or if they are the government is not. Also here without the initiative process it is not so easy for a non citizen to get anything on the ballot or have much effect on politics. That said I do still try, and will continue to work for change worldwide.

In fact Sam why don't you just legalize it where you expat & just stfu ?

I don't think you get the idea.
If Colo or Cali legalizes it at the state level, bows will be going for under 1k where YOU live. Not just here.
Sounds like your economic arguments are leaning more and more toward the opinion of Krunchbubble. You just don't know it yet.

Why'd you ban pimpjuice? B/c he didn't agree with you. I think you guys always use that (violated TOU or had menacing tone) as a cop out.

Did we forget what this website does???

@ Sam: Thank you for your efforts. I know your career (life) has many accomplishments, and some have been overlooked. Sieving is an ancient art, I like to point out the importance of both words. You are an artist. Some artists would rather take their tricks to the grave, some smoke lots of hash and make youtube videos (lol at myself for saying "trichrome" on camera) to give their tricks away. To each their own. Some of the stories are legend, some are best untold. WTF do I really know other than what I read on the net, we haven't met yet.

Your publications are enough to fill a library. This forum is filled with folks who dedicate their lives to cannabis, be it research, legislation, activism, organics, whatever. You happen to be the most successful of all these folk to date, on several levels. You may very well hold that throne for a long time. At this point I only wonder... Wouldn't this be easier ...... anyways. I can do that dance with ya Mr. Skunkman.

@ Sam& JJ, or anyone else who can post without flaming SS.
I am undoubtedly ignorant with regards to Amdam and Holland cannabis legislation, and defacto enforcement is often what I care about more so than actual law. Is it better to be a small outdoor cannabis grower here in (sunny) norcal or in (greenhouse) Holland? post edit: 3rd option; some unmentioned country.

dude was just flaming sam. sam did good ignoring it, but homeboy kept on. please let it go. i don't agree with JJ and Sam, and am not banned because I don't call them names. They don't call me names. It's only fair. Your banned friend needs to learn to debate and not hate.

the rest of us are making some ground here. it's time to bring the community together. I would vote yes on any cannabis de-legislation anywhere. Don't think I don't have a pony or two in this race. But I trim all day with folks who don't agree and I can represent that community without the flaming.
