i was really hoping that id get a decent size plant out of the prophet but mostly cause i wanted to see what she would do in the buckets... well see though.... i think the plants grow 1-2 inches a day right now its insane...

Honestly i havent been truly happy with coco till smart pots and dripers but its still no rdwc. I have never seen veg speed like that I thought it was a fairy tail. Also the saving on nutes is crazy running drain to waste at 800 to 900 ppm compared to 400ppm rdwc will eventually pay for itself in nutes. Went and helped miss vaped's friend get her ph and ppm straight in her ebb and flow bucket system today. cant judge the difference in growth rates because she was running at like 6.8 ph and 1.9 ec on 2 week old clones major burnage and ph problems, But I priced out her system and could build a 24 to 36 site unit for like 250 to 300 bucks. Only thing i didnt like was the controller was just ran by 2 timers. One starting the pump to the controler the other starting the pump pumping water back to the holding res. I see one of the timers fucking up and shit getting flooded or drying up. I know you ran the hydro-farms water farm once did veg even compare to rdwc?

Plastic pots probably cost me atleast 4 to 5k in harvest weight this year. The air pots look even better but i couldnt source any. I will ride out 2011 in smart pots and drippers probably but my new years resolution for 2012 is RDWC with stadium style smart pot drip tables on both sides of my buckets.

Rdwc is cheap now... but ill dumping 120 gal of nutes weekly once i switch to bloom thats were the money comes in...

as for the flood and drain i liked them vaped..... buy a real controller from cap for like 250 and you can build your own system with 5 gal buckets... i like ebb and flow but you may still need a res depending on where and how hot your main rez is.... i didnt like waterfarms.... this is by far the fastest system with aero next (ez cloner)

If Im gonna dump some loot I think it will be rdwc for sure. Its one of those well i got the money for this now but i want that latter things. miss v will cut my nuts off if i set up a ebb and then switched it the next grow. Got to thinking about your top off system also if you only ad like 10 to 15 gallons at a time to your top off res that should give you a care free week and fresh nutes all the time. How fast has your system been feeding off the top off res? If you could figure out gallons per week used by the plant on average you could run with out a full top off res.

well i think they are drinking about 45 gallons every 5-7 days or so... maybe more.. i havent payed attention to much but ive filled the lvpk's 3 times now and the buddha just got its second filling last night....

Its worth the effort... you let me know when you want to do it... well whip it out in a day... the chiller will be about half as much as the rest of the system....

I just woke up, Had a dream about a 12 bucket 8,000w growroom with some nice rdwc bushes. I gotta get back up and running. Yeah dwc working like It should will give one such quick growth rates you will literally be able to notice growth during one lights out cycle. You will look at them before lights off, Come back soon as lights on and the plants will have new nodes and grown 2" plus over 12 hrs.

The best thing about a rdwc system is the control. You have no real medium to hold any salts, So you can literally control exactly what they eat.RDWC taught me more about the plants and their feedings then anyone on any of these canna forums ever could.

It gives you a chance to directly monitor a plants uptake and nutrient requirements, So easy to find every strains sweet spot by monitoring them and keeping note of how much they feed day to day! Note what ppm levels you can reach without any tip burn etc, You push them as hard as you can bumping strength weekly by so much ppm and find that strains sweet spot, If at anytime you notice tip burn back off to the previous weeks ppm levels and you have now found that strains sweet spot.

very very true... it makes it fun... it takes alot of the medium control out of the situation.... which is nice... ive had problems last 3 runs with salt or someshit and made my yields suffer bad this time this will not happen...

Love the dream btw soon itll be a reality...

Thanks gangjasuiteseat come in and sit down....

Miss Blunted :moon::moon::moon::moon::moon::moon: Itll get flipped soon fo0
