The PHRESH Filter Club

That's awesome to hear
From the man, who is lazy. Not too lazy by the looks of your setup :p

I'm still part of the phat filter club. Been rocking them since they were called phat filters. Had them for more than two years. And they still work. Contantly clean and or get new pre-filters and run a lower cfm ratio then recomended and they last for YEARS.

Another :good: for Phresh filters.

They're well made, cheap, flange included, and smaller = stealthier to bring in and easier to hang.

I rock the 8" x 24" (750 cfm) and a CanMax8 fan in a 3k room. I replace every two grows though but I still think it's well worth it. I get mine for about $200.

I've never used a Can but I've used my homemade and an ebay bought one and the Phresh filter spanks them. I know Can's work too they're just big and expensive.

i run a 6" x 16" phresh filter i love it. instead of buying a new one when the carbon is used up i plan on drilling out the rivets replacing with new carbon & using bolts n nuts to replace the rivits to put it back together then i can reuse it forever.

So what is the difference between phresh filters and phat filters? I have seen some sites selling phat filters and some selling phresh filters?

Seems as though this is the only contradicting testimony compared to what others have said.

- What were your room temps/humidity?
- What size of a fan did you use, and what size of filter with that fan?
- What was the cubic ft of your room? Was there adequate air exchange?
- Was everything on the phresh/fan connected properly?

I want to make sure what I'm buying will be able to control smell 110%. I can't afford to have the slightest hint of smell coming from the room.

My air will be exchanged 3-4 times per minute inside my tent, and when the tent is open for 20 minutes a day, the air in the room that holds the tent will be exchanged every minute.

Does anyone else have solid experience with phresh's that can attest to it's performance? Fan/Filter combo's are usually the most important purchase when all is said and done, so any help is appreciated by whoever stumbles across this thread.

I love the fact that I can hang a 12" PHRESH off the ceiling by myself, which would be near impossible to do with a CAN150.

They changed the name for marketing purposes. The sites that have phat filters have old stock. They are the same.

One thing I will mention is that I don't have a very good sense of smell especially when it comes to weed, so if there's a slight difference in performance I wouldn't be able to tell. (I walk into a room where people have been taking bong hits all day and still not much of anything.) I'm going mainly by PHRESH's marketing in that their carbon is a different, higher grade that weighs much less for the same workload, as well as other people's reviews on them.

I think best way to test is to have someone who doesn't smoke at all and isn't around weed all day to do the testing.

I would invest in a small ozone generator for the room that holds the tent. You don't want it in the tent with plants, but in the exterior room it will do good as long as it has a 30 second contact time.

get a phresh and a fan bigger then what you need then get a speed controller and run the fan slow .... no ozone ever needed on my end.
