Looking great man! I love setting up new grows.. So much fun, and a little nerve wracking at times :D
Can't wait to see those genetics reaching for the lights and overgrowing your tent. They're going to love that environment.

Vigil: The tent is nice my only complaint is the zippers are extra heavy duty. While zipping up the entrance when the zipper curves through the corners of the door its kind of a two hand process. Thanks for following well get it going here soon enough.

FG: I love setting up new grows. It's like Christmas for me putting everything together and getting it working. I just got done reading BigGreen's 1st UC grow. Still have to read his 2nd run and his current run he's doing. I haven't bought my buckets for RWDC yet and I am HEAVLY towards UC4XL !! pictures of those roots are mind boggling :whee:

GREENNNNN! ya I went changed my mine from a 9 bucket RWDC to a 4 bucket UC :D I'm not sure if I should do 2 bubbas and 2 OGs or just 4 the same kind. My buddy is growing 5 of each in a dwc sog and the OG has a lot of space in between nods and branches would work well with LST. The Bubba is growing short squatty and just going straight up. Gonna be a fat cola. HAHAHA you spotted the cerwins ya those are the 12s the help me while working :D Just waiting on UC to show up. Still thinking weather to go Co2 leaning towards it. I think I'm going to oder it now. haha

I am going with a CAP HUM 1 to control humidity. I am currently looking for a dehumidifier that has mechanical controls. Basically when the HUM 1 control sends power to the dehumidifier socket the dehumidifier needs to turn on. Not digital controls that needs have someone press the on button. Any help would be greatly appreciated right now.

Good luck with the UC system. I have been enjoying mine. Mainly because I can keep the ppms so low. It sounds like you got some great genetics too.

Ya I just placed ordered today with the UC rep in my area. They have been having a hard time getting a hold of current cultures though.

I am going to be using Heavy 16 for my base nutes it's a two part base made locally in so cal. The price is good and it is made for RO water (has cal mag in it already). For additives Zone, Liquid Karma, Big Bud and Over Drive. From reading BGs posts and from what you are saying I'm going to slowly ease into the nutes.

As far as genetics go I hope I can get them to look as good as I have seen them. Just have to finish constructing all of my controls and wiring which is the fun part. :woohoo:

BG: Thanks for stopping by. Damn to bad I didn't know sooner. Just dropped a pretty penny at the shop..Well at least they know me now and I hopefully become a face they recognize to get some discounts. California is a great state..but I do hate a lot of laws about it.

How much does a 4xl cost?
Mine was a 12xl I broke down.
Nice dog bu the way. I use to have pits when I lived in the shitty part of town when I was younger. Now I have a bulldog.
Just keep up the work shit happens fast you wanna be ready for everything once your UC comes that thing takes like 20 min and your all done with it.
Good luck

Nice setup man, I'm along for the ride.

As far as your dehuey needs, I have a 25 pint Frigidaire with the old-school knobs - works perfectly controlled by my Sentinel CHHC-1 - I'm assuming that's why you're asking, so that it can be controlled by your atmospheric controller.

If that is indeed the case, you don't *necessarily* need one with knobs - you just need one that has an "auto-restart" feature.

Just Google "dehumidifier auto-restart" and you'll get tons of options - good luck.

Subbed!

Pulling up a chair in the front row here, this one's gonna be good!:lurk::lurk:

Wow, I was thinking about running a 4-bucket UC system in a 5x5 tent just last night! Biggest diff was that I was thinking about using one of those water-cooled cool-tubes to reduce the a/c requirement.

How is that sun-hut? I've a 3x3 Secret Jardin now & have no complaints.

BG: total cost with tax was 850. Breaking down a larger system sounds like a good idea. I plan on going to a 10x10 after a few grows once i get these genetics down.

Green: HAHA its like playing I spy in my garage HAHA.

Drfter: Thanks for stopping in. Ya I have been busting butt.

Bob: Thanks for the information on auto restart. I ended up going with a Active Air Dehumidifier. Just looked at some pictures and I hope this one will work. Going to have the drain hose draining into a condensate pump that will pump out to drain.

Darth: Thanks for stopping in. I am not going to be using AC at all. The thermostat is going to be controlling a fan that cools the 1000 watt light. a 500 cfm fan moving 40-50 degree air over is should be more than enough. The Hydro Hut is great. My main concern was to have several large holes for ducting. My only complain is that the zippers are not the best of quality. Going around the curve of the door is a two hand process. Another plus that I liked was the metal frame corner pieces.

Well Grabbed a few more parts right now going to bang away for a bit. More pictures this evening. Thanks to everyone stopping by.

update

A little late just did a nice 6 mile run in the hills feeling great now :joint:

Got a good bit of work done today here's some pics.

Active Air 8" inline fan

8 x 6 reducer on it.

all pookied and sealed up.

400 watt electric oil heater to keep my temps up in the night.

cheapy little humidifier.

float valve from an ice machine that will get installed in it.

the hole.

doesn't look to bad. At least I won't ever have to fill it again.

I don't know why it keeps throwing my pictures sideways. Hopefully you guys don't have neck cramps already. But that is my humidifier on the left heater and condensate pump for the dehumidifier.

got the sub panel in. 70 amp with 4 15 amp circuits. Going to be running 10/3 romex w/ground this weekend to feed panel. Also need to get my knock out set to do the out lets in the middle. Wired up the fan control relay and fan speed control.

Hoping to get some more work in tomorrow and then break my back digging a ditch this weekend to run power. no bueno. Now from an expresso and a :joint:
