Pez

Paco

There is a cut here in CO called Pink Pez. all of the lab people seem to want it because of it's THC CBD ratios. Nice buds, but I've never sampled a well grown bud.

I always thought PEZ was a Northern Light strain - am I wrong about this? Probably lol.

PEZ PEZ PEZ

yes i profess my love for her!

i have seen 2 phenos, blue and pink. they both have the exact same smell and taste. the blue one turns blue and purple. Both are so usually extremely sticky when finished, and they finish super quick too.

what i love most is that smell that translates directly to the smoke, super sweet and spicy. it took me a few years of searching to score a cut and some coin too.

mine tested at 19% thc

I don't think it is the UW, just that I never heard of it being that way.

But around 2001-2003 man I was smoking some awesome pez buds in seattle. I really miss that scene up there it is just rocking, with some of the best strains anywhere that nobody will ever hear of or see!

Pez is an old bagseed northern lights clone.

The Snohomish County Cannabis Creators in Washington or SCCC for short was founded based on this clone.

It is very old. Would be amazed if someone still had this clone growing well.

Yo jigg... its alive and kicking. when did the sccc find her? ive never seen any NL that smelled like Pez.

beta...i went to WWU from 95-98 (808 apts baby), where i first saw her. its in the south sound and doing fine. the UDubb is different, but i have know people that have both so it runs in the same circles.

All wrong in my books

I don't actually have any paperbacks on this subject but I do know what Pez strain beta is asking about. I was actually around the buds for years before I actually got to see the plant. It is a northwestern skunk #1 strain. Smells like cotton candy or pez candy apparently it grows great indoors or out many people like it in the northwest since it can take the cold and finish before most others. Oh yea it's a great yielder. If anyone has info on the skunk#1 pheno (Pez) please share so beta and I can sleep at night.
Thanks all

All of our strains were obtained as clones except "The Pez" (Northern lights), which was the made-in-the-stars result of one thoughtful individual saving a single seed from a bag of supreme quality near-sensimilla.
- From jiggywhompus's link

So they don't know what it is. It was some seed from a bag... they don't know if it was NL or Skunk. Chalk up another mystery strain up to random findings.

Wow, great feedback - Thanks ya'll!

Any chance there are photos floating around of plants at least purporting to be Pez?

Hey bro glad you got a cut of the pez! I grew it for years and it was always a big favorite. It has a skunky smell while growing and a sweet delicious skunky aroma when cracking open a bud, very candied and sweet. I'm sure that the strain is still around. Here is a vid of my garage from a few years ago, lots of pez, some seattle purps and a couple sativas that are tall and lanky. majority is pez though.:dance013:

It is clone only.
I have pictures (post later), a mother and I'm going to run all Pez my next round.
It is a quick finisher a throws respectable weight.

Outdoors- I personally don't think you can find a better tasting plant.
Indoors- when its done proper... whoa! a percentage of people find it too spicy/peppered and actually have an allergic type reaction.

I've seen various phenotypes, most notable the pink and blue.
Pez has signature bright pink pistils, the blu pez will turn blu and hues of purple, and is slightly more sticky and sweet.
My original mother I actually flowered and then re-vegged (took forever) and it mutated slighted.

I just had all my strains tested and Pez scored very well (18.64% by weight /GC test), its strong enough for anyone but its the taste that is single and unique, reminds me of a grapefruit citrus mixed with a spot of pine

Yea I dont think I've ever seen pink hairs on the pez and ive seen tons of it finished and in full bloom. I've heard there is a strain called pink pez though, maybe it has the pink hairs? I've got some more photos of the pez on a different pc i just need to transfer and ill post those too.

jigg-There are crosses... CPR and others.

I am not spreading mis-information,
I have a mother that i took cuts from, flowered and re-veg'd, the original cuts and the later cuts are not identical. Not to mention the fact that you will find the occasional seed which will produce a different pheno.
If you need examples of this phenomenon, research Chemdog, NYCD and OG Kush...
they are not all the same cut anymore
