My OrganicLove, Humanure Trial Grow

I've been looking forward to someone doing a grow with humanure.
CE I like that you have handled the naysayers with grace and tact.
To those who are grossed out GROW UP, if this thread grosses you out change threads and keep the childishness to yourself unless you have a relevant question or concern.
If you only knew what you come into contact in with a day, remember that waste water purification is a cycle of refused water returned to sender so to speak.
If it where me I would use humanure to grow green manures and then use those but those plants look healthy and you have eaten the plants raw and not fallen ill so WTF do I know.
Looking forward to see the results.

I agree 100% with Suby.
I wouldn't want to use humanure on my MJ plants(thats me though and i still use nasty stuff like fish hydro) but wouldnt mind a green manure crop that used it. And actually a majority of the world still uses humanure or nightsoil(raw human waste spread out on soil) as its an easily accesible fertilizer. Humanure is way better in that the aging or composting if done right leaves with a smell less easy to use fertilizer..
We as MJ growers are just used to investing in our nutrients whereas they invest in what they eat and return it back(a healthy diet makes for a healthy source humanure). It wasnt until this recent century that we've made the dramatic switch. Night soil companies were still in business up until the early 1900's. even today milogranite does pretty much the same job, just turning humanure into time release pellets
I find it funny that people think its disgusting though when we use products of similar decay. It may not be my first choice but it its a choice. If i ever find myself in dire need though i know where to get it

Lighten up guys I am trying to bring a little humor into this thread,I realize that alot of things we come into contact with are completely covered in bacteria and I know all organic growing involves composted material and manure of some type,but I have also seen a friend who is a plumber become violently ill and close to death from a small piece of human fecal matter that came into contact with a mucas membrane somehow in his mouth.I dont know enough about "humanure" to make a good argument against it,but suffice it to say nobody has personal experience with it to argue for it either.So I guess we will see if anyone gets sick from it in the future but in the meantime for all you "humanure"enthusiasts I can have some extra in a bucket for ya in no time just hit me up if you need some.
Noone here is arguing that raw fecal matter is safe, and that's what your friend came into contact with. Raw cow poop, raw chicken poop, it's all just as dangerous for your health as raw human poop.
What we are saying is that cows, chickens and other birds have the same species of bacteria in their feces, so if composting can make cow poop safe to handle, there's absolutely no reason it wouldn't do the same thing to human feces. Where you're going off the rails is thinking that humans have something extra or more dangerous that composting won't take care of.
