real thin: thanks for stopping! we got 9 plants in the tent. about as much as there can be, little overcrowded but i'm defoling pretty much.
yes i think johnny blaze will do very well in vertical setup although bare bulb would be ideal. i like to grow plants with healthy stretch so i dont have to veg so much, and don't mind a longer flowering perioid cause i always grow perpetual.

it's going alright. too bad we have the fucking mites. some of the plants are hit harder. i've been trying to treat them with local organic pesticide it's too fucking expensive and uneffective. i guess i'm gonna order some predator mites as the plants are flowering now.
this is gonna be a tricky grow. the humidity is pretty high and the mites... these are the two factors that will affect the overall most but it's usually the name of the game with tight apt. grows.
too little space and too little light for my likings but let's work this thing out the best we can shall we?

the g13skunk cut is rediculous. maybe if you have couple a K's and 4 metres of headspace?? not for cabs, just look at this mess!!

i'm sure it would be a wonderful plant for outdoors or bigger setup.
had to cull the johnny blaze too, i think she hermied cause of environmental issues. she just wouldn grow healthy with the feeding schedule i'm giving, also the space was issue.
the two triesels are flowering now too, little leadburn from the tube, fuck it.
triesel #1. huge fat leaves. more sturdy and less branching.
triesel #2. this one is more branching and stem rub gives citrusy aromas.

i think some of shantis more sativa gear grow like this? totally outta control!! buddys got the cut still, not sure if many gonna wanna grow this around here though..

You need to be in hurry to order those predators bro.. It will take some time before they get the stronghold from the mites.
And order way too much.. Predator mites work best in preventive way.
Won't take out all the mites but you can keep the population down..

well i'm dealing with the mites manually. as in go through every leaf of the plant by hand spraying it with organic pesticide and wiping all the mites off with my fingers!
yep it's a shit loads of work but the best possible solution for now. i've done this technique before and it works pretty good. about 30 minutes per plant, not too bad as they are not trees!
otherwise running smooth. the a11xswt seem really fast and producing! prolly done by christmas! jiaaa!

Wonderful lineup, what a great selection of genetics. 
FWIW, if I had to guess the light green coloring in the JB is an expression of the BB side of the genetics...and a HOG expression of that one in particular....most of my HOGs did the same thing, extremely healthy but the color was always a little "off"

nice to hear your feedback on the jb. the f2 has proven very diverse and a lot of different, sometimes weird expressions keep popping up! and that's something i really like, all these plants are very beautiful and unique in their own way!

horrible battle with the mites! this is the worst infestation i've ever had. if this was my personal garden this would've never happened. 
well lets look at this as a learning experience...
i'm thinking at least once a week to go through all the leaves and try to keep the population down. it's gonna be alright as long as they dont get into webbing mode! fuckers...

Vvvery nice flicks. Unlike lucky arctic there, I have had my battles with mites. Cost me at least 2/5 of my last crop! They are nasty buggers indeed. Defoliate heavily and keep your RH as high as possible...that's all I can say. Maybe order some real poison from abroad? Who knows.
The only pleasure I got out of them was when hanging the plants to dry; mites always try to climb upwards (before webbing, that is), so I just chased them with a lighter, flaming their ass from the behind, laughing like mad!
Hope you get this crop cleared to some satisfaction and nuke the place. More power to ya!

and thanks niluola comrade! yees i've those fuckers! we are having kinda high RH but the mites don't seem to mind. after the new year 2011 it's not possible to get anymore organic pesticides in finland, sounds crazy? believe it. i've had many discussions about it with the local hydroshop guy and that's how it's gonna be from -11.
yes, can't wait to hang these bitches dry and chase them last mitefuckers with a torch or something! i love animals and none should suffer but there are insects that dont get my sympathy such as mosquitos, horseflys, deer flys, thrips.. etc those kinda fuckers!
i'm sure we'll pull some high quality nuggets later this year, the yield just prolly wont be there like in the past and i'm worried about mold too, but things will come as they choose!!
