I never really said I was for sure in the "no" crowd I just debate it from that angle. Now that there is ABX6 9 I'm starting to consider this things a little differently. I'm probably still not going to vote either way, but it does look a little better.

All your bullshit and your not even voting??? Get a fucking life....

Smells like irony to me. How is his exercising his right to abstain after considering the proposition less valid than your foaming at the mouth yes vote? Not everyone wants the life that you want for them, many want to chose their own path.

If your for or against something then that seems logical. Like I have a serious interest in seeing 19 pass, that's why I and many others are here to debate no voters into changing their position and we have been successful in doing so. But to come here and argue and argue on bogus points then tell us your not even voting...? I just don't understand the reason unless your here to argue for the sake of arguing....

I am here to gain knowledge. Healthly debate can gain you a lot of great information. It helps you make better and informed decisions. Lets say I was for the yes on 19' and through debating here I learned new perspective that changed my mind. I wouldnt be bumbed or upset about this, I would feel very satisfied. Because I would feel like I did my due diligence.

Vote yes on 19

im torn whether or not im voting yes or no. I see both sides of the aisle; however, in my opinion its not going to pass. If we cant get the majority of the marijuana smokers to vote for it, how do we even have a chance? They royally fucked up by not listening to the concerns of the people. richard lee and his greed...

The time to end the debate is NOW.

Prop 19 will NOT take away from Prop 215 the compassionate use act. This ironically was addressed last November during the oral arguements at the California Supreme Court for the case People V Kelly.

At 2 hours 55 minutes into this clip it is clearly explained. https://www.calchannel.com/channel/viewvideo/829
"IF WE WERE TO DECLARE THAT ALL POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA WAS LAWFUL WE WOULD NOT BE AMENDING THE CUA WE WOULD BE CREATING BROADER PROTECTIONS FOR A BROADER CLASS OF PEOPLE."

IcMag hardly represents the common smoker. The majority of smokers I know have never even heard of ICMAG or OverGrow. Hell most people cant even name 1 nutrient in which MJ is grown. ICMaG is a group of very dedicated canna-enthusiasts, many of which earn a income in some way or fashion from MJ or MMJ. So its really not any suprise that prop19 would be met with serious resistance by those who are afraid of competition.

But to the average end-turn user, prop19 is welcomed with open arms (or lungs in this case...). The only people I know who are against this are other dispensary owners and commercial growers, which make up a very small percentage of voters.

All the polls show 19 ahead. The majority of people I know are voting for 19 and there are alot of people who realize that MJ is not nearly as destructive as the government likes to make it out to be and have come to the conclusion that by keeping MJ illegal it is causing more harm than good.

Reduced tax spending on locking up mj users/sellers/producers, better prioritized police enforcement, increased revenue and a regulated system to keep it out of the hands of children.... what sensible adult wouldnt want any of these things?

YES ON 19!!! ITS TIME TO SHOW WASHINGTON THAT AMERICANS WANT MARIJUANA LEGALIZED!!!

....So far I see 200 registered Californian voters voting YES.....and 150 voting NO..

...Yes we all can see that this Prop 19 is not exactly perfect for everyone.....and that in years to come (if passed) it could be and probably will be amended for better or worse...

...320 Residents of other states would like Prop 19 to pass...

......and 70 Residents of other states don't want it to pass.....

....If this ICMAG poll actually comes anywhere near as to what the real vote in November will be.......then Prop 19 will pass....and I for-see a snowball effect through-out the USA's other states and more than likely the rest of the world so creating much, much more tolerance and freedom for cannabis users and growers.....

I am 50 years old now and for all of my adult and part of my juvenile life I have had to duck and dive to avoid being jailed for using and growing this PLANT....My only wish is that future generations do not have to go thru the paranoia and secrecy that I have had to endure to be able to keep my ass out of jail...(except for one time when I was imprisoned for cannabis)......

Hopefully then, before I die I can feel free to light up a spliff anywhere on this planet without risking my love, life and liberty.....

I wonder how many of the people voting no have ever been to prison? I have and it sucks! and the fact that if this bill passes people will no longer go to prison, I don't care what else its says, I don't care what stake I had that I stood to lose... noway I could vote NO. but I don't live in Cali... all of you need to take youselves and your intrest out of the equation and look at what this means to the world.

the sentiment is all over California. Not just on the web. Not only are people angry the bill is so flawed, there are also the prop 215 compliant that are happy with status quoe. Is that greedy of them? Maybe, but no one can argue Richard Lee's greed when writing the bill.

Im still so torn. Swaying towards voting yes just because I simply want to send the message to Washington.

however, even if it does pass, it most likely wont work out. The feds will say "sorry, marijuana is federally illegal. You want to legalize marijuana, then we wont give you any federal funding."

the feds/DEA aren't just going to lay over on this one.

That NEEDS to happend. We need to fight the DEA in the supreme court. Fuck Richard lee. To vote this down because you don't like him is foolish. We need to legalize mj for recreational use. Once 19 is passed something will come along to liscense commercial growers with reasonable liscense fees and let the average smoker grow and possess more. But first 19 MUST pass.....

To everyone who mentions prison: This prop isn't going to keep anyone out of prison. Read it! Is that what you really want to vote for?

19 is the beginning of the end for mj arrests. EVERYONE agrees 19 isn't perfect, but to vote against the first legalization proposition will send a loud message, that people DONT want mj legal. So vote for 19 and let's continue to degrade the prohibitioners. We all knew this wouldn't happend in one move. This is chess my friend, not checkers.

Really??
Well...it will make Concentrates legal...they are currently a Felony, in any amount--
You can keep all that you have grown in your legal garden...meaning if they come and you have 20 lbs, you are legal-- See where that one lands you right now--
