Some strain are way more hardy than others. We had at least 30 different strains go into the different rooms. some could not even get past 8 inches in veg before they looked so bad you had to pull them. others you could get all the way through veg(sorta) and die within 30 days of flower. And the one that did the best (6oz a light) we got 30 days into flower before any real bad yellowing. We were able to keep them some what green by doubling the nutes and doing foliar sprays.

Roots TOTAL MUSH!!!!! got the cal mag deffiecency look about 2 weeks ago... started treating for calmag... plants where totally fine last night and then this morning everything was all droopy dead dieing.. check hose... NWG.com!!!

Called PK over cause hes seen offgassing before with his cousin... says looked exactly the same... do not know whats up but very salty.... what im wondering is how some poeple shit dies instantly and some like mine too months to finally show though i do believe it never let the roots actually take hold... they alwyas looked ruff....

okay....this effect of off gassing does not show up in veg?? only in flower? and some strains it will take 30 days in flower to start showing up real deffinate??

i have a thread in the infirmary about almost losing a crop to bad nutes/inconsistant nutes.

thing is i used these nutes in the past with GREAT success, but this time around i thought i had gone too high on the EC, and by the 24th day or so of flower, finally the medium was full of salts and fried the crop. flushed and such swithched nutes and used a super stimulator, and they turned around a bit, enough to give me a good yield till next run.

well i replaced some panda film before i started this run as i had some down time. i thought maybe that i had off gassing from the panda, but i specifically asked the HYDRO sotre guy if the film had a track record of offgassing, he said no. the panda was not a major brand, and made in china.

i always had offgassing in the back of my mind, and now im going to paint over everything with a low voc primer (100g/L) and zero VOC latex ceramic bead infused paint called "Benjamin Moores Regal Matte Finish" super white. 49 bucks a gallon.

does this happen habitually with panda. i thought "no it cant be cuzz everybody will have this problem, not aonly me. and i aint heard nothin but hydro hut issues".

i guess folks are not so forth coming of failure, hence i heard nothing of the sort.

DOES THIS HAPPEN WITH PANDA FILM, OR DID IT HAPPEN TO YOU WHEN YOU REPLCED PANDA FILM??

It is a possibility. It is made in china and is flexible PVC. When in doubt change it out. killz has a zero voc flat white paint you may be able to get it at home depot. I believe it is half the price you quoted

Hey U.G.U! Thanks for the link to the 1/2 tubing near the first page of this thread. It works great with the ebb & gro fittings- not too tight, not too loose. It also seems more kink resistant than the CAP and NGW tubing. I recommend it to all!

lol just as an off note . . anyone who has suffered through this probably had similar crazy thoughts. But SERIOUSLY, I would look at my depressing shit, then come to ICMAG to try and find an answer. . . I would see threads like "20k Big Dog Roadshow" . . "8k watts MPB" / . . .etc . , , and think to myself "WHAT THE FUCK AM I DOING WRONG! This compound needs to be regulated so that all the cheap crap produced in China doesn't sit in our dumps and release toxic plant killing gasses.

this should be interesting for y'all. got 2 rooms, 1 was newer and had the NGW. Been hunting ghosts in it for a year. FUCK THIS COMPANY. If I didn't have two rooms i'd be sunk. The other room was perfect, thank god, no NGW. Jesus fucking christ! 6 cycles trashed! Amazingly, I still managed to get some A+ nugs, but yields were destroyed.

I'm sorry for everyone that has lost out because of this product. I can tell you that the stress in my house is absolutely peaked right now...this BS has caused a chain reaction of chaos and worry in the past few weeks with this grow dying and not knowing why. Not cool for me, being this late in pregnancy...this has caused multiple spikes in my blood pressure and BH contractions to go crazy I'm pretty upset about it all. So sorry for the other people who have REALLY lost out big time. My heart goes out to you....this is absolutely horrifying on so many levels. If this had been our main room....we'd be out on the streets real soon. Seems that our local grow store is NOT interested in taking care of their customers....they don't give a shit that this shit is killing crops, they intend on selling it as usual.

Dammm thats crazy that they still sell it! I took a 6 inch piece to my closest store and they were like ' wow brah gnarly '! They taped it up on the wall and sold me hydrofarm black, which I am experiencing a full recovery with.

NGW is truly narrow minded. Think about it. They are controlling on a monopoly on making millions off enabling people to grow *at least* mildly illegal (as in fed-wise illegal but state legal) stuff. They fill their banks up with money that mostly originates from people who's hands frequently grasp bongs and bic lighters.

Yet when a few of their 'minions' complain that one of their 2000 products is inhibiting their ability to supply more cash to NGW, instead of remedying the situation they threaten to piss off ALL their minions and call on the very law that made them rich in the first place.

Some genetics are known as mite resistant... seems you've got a NGW resistant strain.

U.G.U.= i dont like kills at all. i own a a paint center, and I carry kills, b.i.n., benjamin moore, valspar, coronado, rustoleum, and cheap lines like glidden and PPI( ralph lauren, crayola, etc). I can for a fact atest to the ability of the zero VOC latex Primer Sealer from KILLZ, absolutely sucks balls at actually "sealing" if you want to get some thing that seals and also is the industry SECRET of most contactors in the "know" look for Coronado "grip and seal" mildew resistant ;primer sealer stain killer. and i get it all for cost which is way less than half.

the bennie moore regal matte finish super white is pigmented with titanium white. and it also has tiny microscopic beads in it that wipe clean like an expo board. and the little beads created a virtually invisible super dimmpled surcace on a microscopic leval that perfectly diffuses the light.

two of the best primer and finish coats ever made and they excell over all others in grow room effectivness.

if you guys all nead to seal something up to prevetn off gassing like caulk etc. get the coronado "Grip-N-Seal" and Benny Moore "Regal Matte Finish" white or super white(got the titanium pigment)
