--i remember ole betsy...used to get dark colored buds w bright orange pistils...it was pretty good smoke...that was around for awhile in the late 90s early 2000s...havent seen it in a bit though
i didnt figure ya did, but wanted to express it anyways....figure i woulda heard about it if you were offended!
...i started thinkin of the chem 4 when she quit stretching after about 13 minutes in flower...and i remember so well the one excellent sample i had of chem 4....soo nice tasting after doing d for a couple years...and e.c.s.d....well, its e.c.s.d...ive got my fingers crossed to do a cross w her that will retain the flavor...this may be the one....---ive been thinkin bout this for bout 20 hours straight! cant wait to get home and break out the brush...also have some x18 pollen (reversed by growtech...not tom hills, but...who was it? oh..the unmentionables i think)

the deed has been done...looked into the iso room this morning hoping to see pistils turning brown already...though that would be a lil quick...i will know within a few days if the following took:

chem 4 x mystery haze
and just cuz it was there:
hash plant 11 x mystery haze
...the only thing i know about this hashplant female, is structurally speaking, she is what i consider the most 'sativa' of the four females...lemme recap the HP story real quick...had all 4 females flowering along w some other strains about three weeks ahead of them...i saw some (more) pm spring back up in my perpetual harvest garden...said fuck it, im starting over...let the plants go til it started getting out of hand, and we bho'd the bunch. the hashplants, unfort, were only in thier late twenties when they had to come down, so while i have not finished any of the girls yet, havent sampled, smoked or tasted, i at least got to see basic structure and growth pattern of all 4...this was taller, stretched more, but still had some fat fingered leaves...
...matter of fact, getting ready to focus in on the hashplants again...still have the one male and some pollen in the freezer...will be flowering the other three females within the next couple months...if warranted...the male will hit all 4 females and i will start looking form and f from there...

I was talking to a friend associated with the whole Guerrilla Gold project and he grew out some, what was labeled, Mountain Madness x Raspberry Kush and said it rocked. Very berry taste and strong stone. Said it would be perfect for SOG with nice cola and little side branching. Wasn't the MM the dad in that cross? Anyway if any beans go up on auction or BIN let me know cause he wants more...lol. He said the MM itself was a bit harsh and the stone was edgy...probably from the C99...but still good. So guess it all worked out in the long run with that winner cross he ran...was definitely really pleased with those beans
all 7 MM males gangbanged that rasberry lady, homie hahahaha

that totally jives with my own experience, and i only had a sample of a plant that was given no maintnence...
it was a very very bubba/ras kush-like in every regard - smell, structure, taste, high... but it had a little bit more 'tempo' to it... maybe 'head' is the better word... from the c99 i am sure.
some of the others plants growing havent yet been harvested - still a few months away...
but i am very excited that the rasberry kush traits transfered over so well.... i was hoping thats what would happen.
smoke wise i definately want to smoke it again!!! i cant wait til i can sample more and get a better idea of the variety of phenos expressed..
i definately was stoked on the frankenscense-esque aroma...

very cool to hear...i had debated trying the mountain madness again...with a new daddy...maybe not a great combo to pursue...so many possibilities...we will now be able to see how these c99 males do w diff elite cuts...got over 1100 valley99 beans! that count is post pinch test...just gettin ready to start on the chemd and of course, the 6th element beans...

This guy is associated with a few larger caregivers and was cool to hear it really stood out with all the other stuff they run. These peeps are constantly popping beans looking for good stuff.
jeez...im only half way done de seeding the chem d...tiny seeds incidentally...last night i smoked two little patties of dank ass chemd finger hash...woke up, drooling on my chest on the love seat about 5 this morning...boots still on...wondering where i was...what day it was...
---sprayed down the ecsd and aw again last night...the solution i used the first time seemed to have seperated in the bottle so i used the first mix i got, which i thought was too old by the time i started...it is still clear comparitively speaking so hopefully this will work...i will keep spraying til i see male flowers...

hey thanks dusto! since im not selling seeds yet, wont be test grows at this time...but the collective will be sending in prob at least 20 packs and they will be listed as cheap bins...those who follow this thread will have best chance of seeing when they are up...i will update as soon as she sends em in...and im sure it will be noted here as soon as they go up!
What is the good word on the hashplant / master cross?

---soooo...had some haze pollen gifted to me, as im sure ive mentioned...had it stored way too long...dusted it on three girls....few branches each...today, i saw some nanners(6) on chem 4(day 42) they were popped...but no trace of anything at all...they were not there 3-4 days ago when i checked...so i found a couple seed pods also..went ahead and popped one to see what was up and a fully formed, beautiful dark seed came out...so i know it wasnt a selfed seed..no time...also, the not so many seed pods i found forming were all on the branches i had pollyd..feelin good about that...the ecsd i hit w it im not sure if im seeing seeds forming...but she is only at day 35 and she is hella slow to form her seeds...i harvested a fully seeded ecsd (dabney bx) at late 70s and had shitloads of premie seeds...so im optimistic on her...i had hit my hashplant11 tester plant on one branch..she is budding so huge so fast at day 36 i cant freakin tell if any pollen took on her at all...i wont see those seeds till im ripping the nugs apart....so all in all, i would say, while not all the pollen survived, i think there was some viable specks in there...
...these seeds wont be going in to the fund..its just a few...but...shit...i just like talkin bout seeds..

whats up Subrob! i feel ya on the seed talk. gets me all excited talking about seeds too. Did you say you have a dabney bx2 crossed with sour diesel? That sound good. Also, any plans on messing around with the sourdub cut at all? I know she's perfect on her own but it would be cool to see how she expresses herself in a cross.
first, nice on the chem4...no...im still on the f2 and original bx seeds...have not gone further yet...very excited bout these girls...all three sets(a,b,bx) look like little afghanis...i dont see any diesel traits at all...ha...just the high...i hope just like the f1s...as for the dub...you know, i might...didnt really plan on it...but i got a cut of it....got some fem rasberry kush(bubba) pollen...thinkin of hittin the og...would be more beneficial than the dub...i wanna find another good solid HTC Skunk ibl male...what im really gonna be looking for is a male out of the dabney line,chem99,valley99,chemhashplant,valley hashplant,...something from that family that really drops the flavor...its what people still want in seed form it seems...

well..been sick lately..really laid out...kinda comin around tonight...ended up upstairs transplanting some cindy daddies...almost time to finish out those males...got a hashplant daddy thats gettin burley already..waiting some test grows of his doing...just dropped the last of my HTC skunk beans in the ground...i really hope that strain comes around again...
