Ortega Indica

Ortega Indica

picture.php

Genetics: Northern Lights #1 X unknown potent Indica

Growth: medium sized plant with sidbranches being on the stem
Once again - Ortega Indica is growing outdoors much stronger as indoors. I think this could be again a surprise as Afghan Delight last season.

Flower: for a mostly Indica not so tight flower clusters, but remarkable calyx formation

Flowering Time: 9 Weeks

Resin Production: very nice

Yield: medium 27g

Smell: kinda typical sour afghani, but not so stinky as other afghani plants I had ;)

Rick Simpson says, he´s using mainly Indica strains for his medicine... There will sure be a good reason why... :ying:

Super Skunk - Indoor

Super Skunk - Indoor

Genetics
: Skunk #1 x Afghani

Flower: kinda loose bud structure in general

Flowering Time: 10-11+ Weeks - the official dates don´t fit at all...

Resin Production: good - very good

Phenotype #1 - Calyxo Madness

picture.php

Growth: Quite a straight stick with nothing but calyxes... Crazy thing... ;)

Flower: Simply just calyxes, which grow loosy...

Smell: Nothing special - sweet´n´sour skunky - more decent as the other phenos...

Yield: average => 30g

Phenotype #2 - Alien Antena

Growth: straight UP...

Flower: Quite loose chaotic calyxes... Callin´ it alien antena because of the outgrowth on the plant´s head... :D

Smell: This pheno did remind me the most of Skunk with an animalic touch paired with this well known rotty smell of a wet cellar... ;)

Yield: superbe => 63g

Phenotype #3 - Calyx BlowOut

picture.php

Growth: very strong! The main sprout did break, so that´s why it´s a double head...

Flower: Also rather loosy than tight lil´ leafier calyxes as the rest. "Buds" looked kinda woolly...

Smell: Kinda skunky...

Yield: superbe => 60g

Phenotype #4 - Keeper

picture.php

Growth: Strong! The most compact growth all´a dem...

Flower: Most compact flowers with the least leaf material, therefore keeper..
The dried flowers remind me the most of a "normal" bud.

Smell: Skunky of course! :D

Yield: very satisfying with 55g

Cashcropping genetics. Overall the smell is nothing special compared to other stuff, but still nice enuff. I think everyone can find a keeper in a 10-pack...

Super Skunk - Outdoor

Super Skunk - Outdoor

picture.php

Growth
: Outdoors Super Skunk was the strongest, most stable and highest plant in my garden. She also did resist a heavy rainfall with her nice colas.

Flower: Unspectacular long and good flowers. Pistils turned partially pink. Zero mold!

Harvest: mid october

Resin Production: very good

Smell: Also outdoors nothing special compared to others...

I really can recommend Super Skunk outdoors for guerilla growers, because this genetics - with a good pheno - don´t need big care, is stable, resistant against mold and a high yielder!

Hello, i was just going to say the super skunk pictures look like they would weigh a lot more than the weights you mentioned, before i read the description i thought 'WOW', that looks huge, but is only 30g? Great pictures, by the way.
May i also ask, is the 'super skunk' from sensi seeds? Thanks.

Nice Work,
Thanks for the show,

Northern lights x jaggen. An Dream cross for me, and i think not only for me. talked, and though so often about that cross, :thank you:

Sour Star

Sour Star

Genetics: Super Star Indica X Sour Diesel

Growth: well balanced hybrid plants with a long stretch

Flower: nice firm flowers with dense calyx production

Flowering Time: 9-10 Weeks

Resin Production: enuff ;)

Yield
: medium (27g) - very good (51g)

Smell: In one word simply YUMMY! :blowbubbles:
The smell is really complex reminding me as a whole of bubblegum. Exploring further creamy sweet´n´sour citrus skunky tones mixed with fresh newsprintpaper fragrance (s bitzli wie än schwiizer Kiosk :D) were noticed by my reeking apparatus.

Different Phenos

Just because only this phenotype showed nice coloring when getting mature, it was my favorite but yet no definite keeper...

FIREofKALI: Heyhey Bro!
I am just wondering, because none of those Super Skunks remind me of a genuine old school Skunk back in the days... :noway: thinking there was more Indica in the 90´s in Super Skunk, which would explain the official harvest data of 45-50 days.

Wow Ya lucky ;) - 1996 I came across only with some spicy Master Kush and Northern Lights, which surprisingly wasn´t so potent...
The other indoor stuff was just Super Skunk or Orange Bud these days.

Yeah I just smelled sour afghani type - nothing extraordinary, but hey I had just that one pheno.... :)

Can understand Ya being in love with MC - this is probably the only mostly Sativa, which I will grow again - even wanna scrog that plant and bath my nose in between the flowers... :D

Thankz and wishin´Ya sunny days... ;)

beefyomelette:
Hi and 30g was only this crazy calyxous pheno. The others were far better yielding... and yes it´s Sensi... ;)

natriumarm: Thankz & Ya welcome! :tiphat:
But I don´t think this is the appropriate plattform to discuss such issues... sorry...#

Reggae82: Guude! Thankz Bro! :)
