LoL funny you mentioned curing because I've been thinking on the best way to do this. First I want the longest dry possible. I figured the longer the better. I've even read about some people leaving the leaf matter on the branches to help protect the bud from over drying .

Dude please don't do that,the leaf matter help the bud taste like leaf matter and not tasty juicy buds,just trim down to bud while while on the branch then hang whole branch til stem snaps all crispy like then clip the buds into mason jars then go thru the open the jar to air out and close to re hydrate process.

By following this process you pretty much get all the moisture/THC out of the stem then you work the buds the same way in the jar,when you first put the buds in the jar and close it,it will get moist By pulling water from the stems in the buds then you open it and it dries it again you do this til the buds don't rehydrate when left cose,that's a longer time consuming cure that will get you some of the tastiest buds around,and once the buds don't rehydrate you can store for months and the longer its stored the better/smoother the smoke. Hope this helped man,I just went threw this with my step-dad as he always left the leaves on to cover/protect the buds and wondered why his buds tasted like it could be way better.

Hi all.. What is good - what is good??
Well today is the start of day 50 in bloom. It's been a fantastic ride thus far. I hadn't grown in some time but I feel like things went ok.

This whole grow was supposed to be flood and drain from the strart but the moms became too large. I flowered them in Promix BX which I must add is very heavy and holds onto water far too long. Easily corrected by adding more perlite which I will do next time I use ProMix.

The 2nd grow was weened down a bit. small plants were eliminated and I also cleared out the under-brush. I defoliated heavy. It is safe to defoliate heavily but this is preferably in the hydro setting. I feel like I'm coming back home working in hydro.

K some pics. I'll try to get as closeup as possible but you get the idea. On the buy list is definitely a nice Nikon D3000 for some mega closeups!!

G13xNYCD #1 hermied and became heavily seeded. Bud production completely stopped. Plants were left in the tight tent and appear to not have affected the remaining plants.

G13xNYCD #3 hermed and became partially seeded. Bud production continued at a crawl.

G13xNYCD #2 Plant appears to have been fertilized by one of the other G13's. It appeared to have been seeded a few weeks back but bud production recently started back up again. I still have the clone to this plant and will have to regrow it in order to determine if it is a hermi free female.

G13xNYCD #2 Another shot. Appears to have new pistils busting out after introducing KoolBloom.

LemonSkunk #1 This plant has some type of virus or genetic deficiency. While a baby it always grew differently and had blistered leaves with yellow shading. Though I left it just to see what it would flower like.. I am impressed by the resin production.

Lemon Skunk #2 Will add later.

CT This plant has been the underdog since I know nothing about it. This plant also has a sativa side which explains why she is so far from being ready on day 47 when this picture was snapped. She can handle the higher nutrient doses well while the others were somewhat burned.

CT Here is a front shot. This plant was grown at a 90degree angle at one point. So you see many branches were triggered shoot upward.

CT Just busting pistils and building a little mass.

Thank you brother man.. Funny thing is my LS #2 looks like yours to the "t"! Lemon Skunk #1 is what I'd call genetically different. I hate the term tard. So it has different features. I assume this is one of the differences as well. I'd have to smoke it to tell if it's quality. The THC itself may be compromised.

That G13xNYCD#2 is looking quite special now. I wish I can photograph a closeup of a newly forming bud. It's so beautiful and now I understand why they call buds flowers. They really are these tiny flowers! They look like little stars when they're open.. It's the weirdest and most amazing thing to watch. The G13xNYCD shows this trait. The TrainWreck just busts the biggest looking calyx. At first you think it's a seed pod and you're like fuck!! But then a day or two it morphs into multiple growing calyxes within that calyx. Fucking amazing!!

Dude I consider myself a beginner grower but I think I graduated to an average grower on this one man.. I also think I used to cut too early. By being more reserved and patient ( MOST IMPORTANTLY LISTENING TO MY ICMAG FAM ) I've seen a much more profound production of bud. Waiting is definitely better.

GreenThumb I'll flower her again so we'll know for sure but if she's a winner then to be safe flower her separately.

Hey Green Thumb, I flipped them for a few days but noticed that the light disturbances from within the room were a risk to herm them out later. I set it back to 24/0 till this grow is done. I'm just going to supercrop these and really weave those branches together for a natural branch trellis. I figure just use the tent for them after the grow and flip. But I'll definitely strip all those tops town to a foot.

Hello all,
Well today is the last day of week 8 and tomorrow starts week 9 on day 57. I have some pics from Day 53 on hand. I'll also post updates of what they look like tomorrow at the beginning of week 9. Now I haven't chopped any of the girls because their trichs are still mostly cloudy. I recently hit them again with KoolBloom and noticed another fattening phase two days later. On with the pics..

An odd growth top from the Lemon Skunk #1 which has had something fishy brewing inside her since day one.

TrainWreck #1 - This plant appears to be the slowest of the 3 trainwreck's. It appears large but it is fluffy. It seems she wants to grow large but theirs more pistils than calyxes. They appear small in comparison to the 2 other trainwrecks. I'm assuming she is just slow but if she does not fatten up by chopping time then her mother will be put down.

TrainWreck #2 - My immediate favorite when I tested her smoke. This plant fucks me up FAST! I've only tested the lower nugs with a quick ballast dry and it's still strong so I'm waiting patiently to see what she's really about. All in and she has been a very nice plant with low to no issues this whole grow. She and #3 are being looked at closely to determine who stays indefinitely.

TrainWreck #3 - This plant is not as fat and dense as #2 but way frostier with trichs that reach out to the leaves. I've been observing bother her and #2 but I'm leaning towards #2 in terms of overall development. Though the true decision will be left to the final test

This is the fattest cola on the CT, this plant is just beginning to get cloudy. She may as well go into the 10th. week with the G13xNYCD. The smell is very offensive. Not pleasant at all lol.

G13xNYCD#2 This plant was thought gone at the very beginning but I think think she became seeded by another hermed G13 cross. I'll try running her again in the future and see if she's a hermi-free female. So far she has been budding up a storm. Cloudy trichs are beginning to increase.
