Karma's Sour Jack Testers

Good morning everyone

I was lucky enough to be selected by Karma to test run some Sour Jack for him. They have been popped and running for about 13 days now in mini hempy buckets. They will stay in those buckets to be cloned and then sexed and pulled. The female clones will be put in big buckets and vegged about 2-3 weeks and then put in for the real run.

Nutes are Fox Farms Hydro Line - Full line plus supplements. I have some CalMg just in case but I usually don't need it.

I will update with pictures once a week (usually Sunday nights). Patience is a virtue my friends.

The beginning, all had strong tails (didn't get a great pic of them), popped on 7.26:

Thanks brother, I'm sure you will catch up soon. We sure are VERY lucky ... these are two of the most historic and epic strains known to breeders and we all know Karma treats them well.

5 at a time for me. Once I go through these, I will pop some more. I'll be watchin you as well ...

Looking good so far. At about ... 19 days or so since popping?

All look very similar. Growing strong, starting to get secondary growth as well. No sign of sex yet but I was not expecting that.

When they are big enough to grab 2 clones, I will grab those and then throw the "original" into flower for sexing. At that point, once sex is definitive, they will all come out, not to complete flower (still debating this ... i've never had GREAT results from the mini-hempys in flower, so it kind of makes it an unfair run). The female clones will be put into big buckets and done right, then they will flower.

I know it's sort of a long process but I think it will certainly be worth it.

they look similar to all my SJ babies at the same stage,,,

i expected more randomness thrown in from the jack,,, as there were 5 or 6 different (karmas) jack phenos that i saw out of 20 beans,, but the sour jack seems pretty homogenous,,

I also expected a larger variation in phenos but thus far they all look VERY similar. We will see when they go into flower if anything changes, but so far so good.

I'll be watchin' your show my friend, good work over there.

Just a quick picture update. These will all be topped today and the tops will be used for clones. Once the clones start to root all the originals will go into flower. They are already pretty good sized . Looking for only the BEST keeper here.

Also, I just got another pack of testers from Karma - Triple Kush (FireWhite#6 x SFV OG Kush), so be on the lookout for that tester thread starting up as well.
