Hope ya dont mind me buttin in bro, but how are you getting on with your New Horizon Dargo? Are you sticking with it for next season man? Great plants btw Guys!

sorry didnt see this

I think I will be :) I been using nettle & comfrey teas with it and the plants are loving it! only problem is the amount of extra waterings it needs, Im going to go for less perlite in the mix next time which should help.

hey rocket high, grats on the first bud in your hand buddy, even if you had to take it a bit before you wanted i bet she will smoke fine. i am hoping you get some sunshine to dry those girls up for you and let them finish up with a couple of weeks of sunshine.

the weather here has turned wet too in the last week or so, been hesitating to go to area 1 and 2 as the slope will be slippery as hell to get up to both places. but i do think the weather will turn nice again, weatherman confirms it :)

anyway keep on keeping on and let us know how she smokes after a good dry and cure.

hi GS

There's no sun forcast for here yet ..:lightning:.so i will have to keep an eye on them as the mold appear's real quick it seem's .
I quick dried some of the fastbud for a sample and it seems like a good high but when it's proper dry i'll have a better idea what to expect from the rest of them .

Isnt there a heat wave due at your region gs i seen it in the
satellite weather map .very good for the girls just at the right time ;)

Awesome picture update bro!

The neverending rain may have started here..... A few years ago we had 86 days of rain in a row lol. Oh well. Think I'm gonna chop down my autos in the tree before the mold gets to them too.

Anyway, All your other plants are looking great. Seems like you are on top of things.

Later man.

wow Bom 86 day's of rain that's marginally better than here lol

i think mine will have to come down early as the mold get's worse with the constant rain we have here ... no indian summer in sight :(

good luck with the tree auto's Bom ;)

Just a thought here rocket but are most of the low N plants in small pots ? . You did say earlier in the thread that the ones you potted up in the buckets seem to be doing better . If a plant is rootbound no matter how much feed you give it the roots cannot absorb the ferts properly as growth , Oxygen intake etc is restricted .

Stay green .

yeah man it's supposed to get hot again this week end over here, today was sunny, just not very warm, lets see what tomorrow brings. they sure did get a lot of rain in the last week, but as they are not flowering yet it's no matter really, just the soil will be very wet till it dries up again.

yes the lightest ones now are still in the bato buckets MJB ..this is most likely the problem. They havent got long left but they only have a week to go before they get ruined with mold, i'll put it down to experience ..it wont happen again next year thats for sure ;)

lets hope you have a dry end to the season
If i had a dry end to the season thing's would be very different but it's not to be.
I hope next year is a record breaker for all the right reasons lol:)

rocket , well done getting this far but please don`t spoil it . Have some patience , dry it properly & cure it well . You`ll be suprised how the smell & taste differ to the cut bud . When you sit back with your feet up & a smile on your face with the first J thats when you will appreciate all the work you put in & the benefit to come .

Stay green .

There's been a change of plan ...the weather forecast say's there's three day's of rain to come so im going down tonight to chop the fastbud's down... i cant risk more mold tbh The sunny weather i was expecting hasnt appeared so now is the best time ..all i wanted was some sun as well ;(

There will be pics of the hack down to come tomorrow ;)

can you chuck some clear plastic sheeting over the top to stop the rain soaking the buds? or would it draw attention to your grow

Hey Buddy! Lovin the Grow, Well Done & a nice little crop in Scotland outdoor like that is no mean feat, especially this year, we've had a crap latter part of summer to say the least, bad enough here in Wales, but even we have not had the rainfall you guys of had, pretty normal though. you'll cut em down & then the 3-4 weeks of broken autumn sunshine will appear, hehe its always the bloody way. Well Done Rocky anyway, i think you did Great on ya first attempt at Alfesco, better than my feable attempt, 'Note to Brain'-'Pics to show Rocket'. My standard strains have just kicked into bloom, lol, so in another 7-8 week i might get 1/8th oz per plant to smoke lol! haha, they may surprise me yet, but this weather has to change, its no good man!
On yours Rock, id of invested in the Budrotstop, still will try n get some myself, but fk im skint as bro. I think a plastic cover pulled tight over a frame may have been the one mate, but sounds a little late now, seeing as you have penned yours anyway, i dont think it would of made much difference to security, maybe to helicopters? i dunno, what was your reason for not covering bro? Anyway ive enjoyed this one, great show mate & well in again!
Peace & Respect......Scrogs! ;)

Hi scrogs
I got 215g wet from the fast bud so i should be left with something like 70g when dry or there abouts. not bad for a first run...and i still got the big devil's to harvest so i hope to treble that next year ..and its bound to be a better summer than this one ;)

yep i need to get bud rot stop as some of the fast bud had small patches of bud rot but if it was left any longer it would have wrecked the fast buds...

well i hope you have a half decent harvest with your outdoor the weather just isnt on our side right now but given a decent summer rot wouldn't be a problem...

im going to start earlier next year to try and beat the bad weather

The reason i didn't put plastic over them is there is farms on the hills and it would be a beacon to them but the pen just blends in well with the landscape from that distance away so i dont want give the the game away this late on .

mind the pics scrogs ;)lol

auto haze x`s , from seed in april , planted outside 2nd to 3rd week in may to crop by the end of july . Haze seems pretty resistant to rain , the buds shed water & suffer very little bud rot , i know this personaly as i have grown them . Check this link https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=170727&page=7

Stay green .

Iam going to give the auto haze a go ...im just waiting for them to go on sale ;) i'll save them for next year. :) The fast bud seem very susceptible to bud rot, they are from a spanish seed co so they would normally be grown in good condition's not like my conditions which were abysmal....next year got to be better than this year surely.

Hi jgp
yep im happy with the fast buds in general they're a bit leafy but even the leafs are covered in trichs and it's a good stone as well ...so not bad for being rained on for a month ;)
Only the big devils left now and im looking forward to them ....the biggest one looks lovely HHHmmm

grats on the harvest rocket high, i'd advise not even weighing the fresh plants it will just depress you how much weight they lose through drying. last time i checked it was some thing like 5% that's left.

anyway it's a win win in the end as it's all nature's bounty and the pleasure of smoking your own grown and not being dependent, make it all worth while.

have you harvested everything now?

The weight of the fast bud wasnt great but for the crap conditions they had been in most of the grow it's not that bad ..im happy so far ;)

no just most of fast buds ...ive left the lowest side branches to finnish off so i can have a fresh joint or two of fast bud later on ;)

The big devils are still alive i think im going to give them a week or two more depending on the rain fall that we get. One or two have had small patches of bud rot so i have to be wary of the humidity we have here ..

your nepal looks brill btw
