help with picking an auto for outdoors?

Great job. You need to get yourself some camo 5gallon buckets out there to collect rain water.

This is a really good picture

that big devil looks like it will get the biggest eh? nice fat stem and showing the least flowering yet. they all look good and healthy though, nice big leaves and some branching coming along too.

it's a shame that the wick system doesn't cut the cheese for your purpose, maybe some kind of gravity fed drip system is your best bet at this point. also adding more buckets to collect rain sounds like a good idea, specially if you re pott them as they will surely need even more water with time.

next year maybe even think about burying your pots and covering with a good layer of mulch.

i went ahead and ordered myself a Swissarmy water bag that carries 5 gallons. this bugger will let me be more generous with my water when the plants need it. might even consider setting up some gravity drip irrigation if the weather and the plants seem to be worth it. drip irrigation seems the most efficient way to use your water too, just will cost a bob or 2 getting the gravity fed drip stakes, water lines, tank and the fittings. hm there must be some home made gravity watering system walk throughs around here. another thing to research lol. a solar water pump would be cool too for you, just leave it in your near by stream and set up some drippers to your pots. :)

:joint: puff puff ..... pass :smokeit:

:bongsmi:

The damn eagles wouldn't leave me alone again today .... they're waiting for me to break my back so they can feast on me lol

one got a pidgeon's chick today the pidgeon went mad at the eagle and gave it a good fight ..compelling viewing i must say ..aint nature cruel ..

I reckon I can try and figure out how to do a long distance one. Kinda scared to do rain dances around here. We just had Hurricane rain for the last couple of days and expect a little more today. I lost one tree. Last Hurricane we had (Hurricane Ike) I lost 13 trees.

I will consult with Tonto to see how we conduct long distance rain dances.

Oh, I didnt loose plants, I lost big tall trees. House killing trees if they were to fall on the house. I have to go out there when it drys up and take a chain saw to this latest one. I will put a call in to my insurance company on Monday to come look at the fence it took down when it fell.

Tonto says long distance rain line is busy. He will try again later, that is if he dont find my loco weed.

Its good to hear you are going to have rain. Even though we have a hurricane season we dont get them every year. They (hurricanes) enter the Gulf of Mexico and then they could hit any number of States or go to Mexico like this one did for the most part. I am just getting the edge of the storm.

Tonto says he expects good green mojo to be sent back his way.

hi guys i need help picking a auto\f strain thats going outdoors in scotland so they need to be mold resistant if possible

Rocket , i don`t know why i never gave you the heads up on this one at first . Think about AK/Haze autos as i know from personal experience growing the original strain b4 the auto gene was found in them that they are rain shedders & showed very little mould despite weeks of rain in heavy flower . There are a few growers on CI that have the autos , check out the threads .

Stay green .

good to hear your girls are surviving the heavy rain and wind. do you have 1 main wind direction? if so maybe you could make them a wind wall on that side of the pen. i bet the stems are getting thick in that wind.

weather here as been pretty good, had a nice amount of rain in between bouts hot sun shine. so i didn't even have to bother watering. still waiting on my water bag for when it gets dry again.

hi MJBadger next year's grow will have a mix i think ... ak/Haze, rrf ,onyx and some scandinavian linage.. and will be making my own seed because auto's are expensive to buy these day's, as you'll know ...i'm open to suggestion's for next's year grow it's to late to put any out here now ..cant wait for next year now :jump:

hi good to hear about your good weather mines are having a rough ride it's still windy here but not raining so its got a little better :)

on the wind wall thing my helper stacked the brush up on the wind side so it breaks the wind. it works a bit ........but it's futile lol .
They will just have to get used to mad weather conditions from here onwards lol

The ole boy who sent me my seeds went way beyond the call of duty and really hooked me up with the free seeds too. I will soak the seeds today
