Hey d9,
thinking about snagging a black widow clone, do you think the widow you're running will finish in time in sc?

My partner has sucessfully grown white widow before at my spot up in the mountains... I think you should snag it :plant grow:

Im far away from there now but good luck. Some day ill return, but it is pretty spendy. I love bonny doon.

Good luck this year. I wish I could get some blue dream up here in oregon!

i like the log support on yur brewer, might have to steal that idea one day.

I am still contemplating on what I should add to the FFOF thats going in the holes. I want to keep the mix similar to whats in my smart pots but with added bone meal, blood meal , peat and dolomite lime….i just need to find out the right ratios.
Experienced FFOF growers please chime in ..

For nutes I am planning on running compost teas along with a 2 part organic nutrient, I have ran earth juice with good results before , but i am still undecided on what to get yet.

Ill take some pics tomorrow when I head out to the spot.

Feel free to pull up a chair , grab some :lurk: and enjoy the show

You want at least a 1.5 HP blower for 250 gallons. What type of diffusors are you going to use?

Im planning on using 4 of the largest sweetwater airstone that can fit in to the 1.5" pvc air lift column.

some people like airstones but they clog alot, ive always just made my own manifold type diffuser by popping in 1/4" poly connectors on the bottom of 1/2" poly looped and connected with a t to the source. that way you get an even enough air distribution in your tea. its a bitch to weigh down, so i cut a bunch of 3/4" pvc and placed them between the 1/4" connectors.

if i was to redo it i would just make a square out of pvc and drill holes in the bottom. its important u put the holes on the bottom so the entire length has to fill with air before its released. otherwise the air will just escape from the closest holes to the source.

with a blower like TG suggested you have a but load of options for air distribution. look into pond diffusers like what RootWise uses. theyre expensive but dont clog (as far as i know)
