Thanks for pointing out that they are a Dispensary... some good info you gave there.
Since it is in the Title, I am guessing that was sarcasm....
I was just curious why you thought the cash would be a problem??

yep sarcasm indeed I think anytime you have LEOs/I.R.S. agents looking through your house and they come across 200 plants + 100LBs + $100,000 = problems its not a good thing thats for sure.Since it is in the Title, I am guessing that was sarcasm....

good luck telling the DEA that.... With 100lbs and $100,000 and 200 plants im thinking an average local deputy D.A can make this guy/guys look like a drug kingpin If they want. Thats alot of weed and thats alot of $$$ and thats alot of plants. I dont think a "its consistent with business needs" defense is going to cut it. Not that the business needs defense is needed at all though, 200 plants alone made sure hes Federal.True...with all those Agencies, I'm guessing they have something else on him...
But, of itself, having 100 lbs and a hundred grand would be consistent with your business needs--

I wouldnt say not true at all i can show you a list of people that are doing fed time for over 100 plants even a couple under 100 plants that are/were doing fed time for cultivation. The DEA picks and chooses its battles Both your friends got lucky period. About the co-op weight yeah i have friends who own or once owned co-ops and yes they have weight at home in a safe but they dont have that kind of $$$ or weight laying around. Can you send me a link to your friend that got probation for 700 plants I find that unbelievable and i like reading about these things. Must have had an A+ lawyerNot true at all bro-- Many get rolled for more plants than that, and Feds don't pick it up-- I have 2 separate friends that had over 700 plants...one they dropped charges all together (because they fucked up the warrant) and the other got Probation--
100 pounds isn't excessive for a Dispensary...especially to stock different strains-- Nowhere does it say it all has to be kept at the Dispensary...many shop owners keep inventory at their house--
Granted, as I said before...it sure looks like they have something else on him, but if he was following the law on everything, those numbers shouldn't be a prob--

The dispensary I go to once in a while pays taxes and issues printed receipts, I think that has more to do with it. They are finding ways to make the busts legit I guess and busting tax evaders?, maybe good news? Hope so..but who knows.

oh okay the dog is going to be okay? cool. But how is that? IDK.
Pieces of filth probably DO shoot dogs - like in American Gangster. I hope the cop who shot the dog goes impotent.
Obama said only if dispensaries were also following state law.
Just because a dispensary exists does not inherently mean it is following state law.
This is why
Sounds like the raids would have happened whether or not the DEA was there.Police raid 2 marijuana dispensaries, arrest owner
The Associated Press
CULVER CITY, Calif.—Officials say federal and local agents raided two medical marijuana dispensaries in the Los Angeles area and arrested the owner.
The Los Angeles County district attorney's office says drug task force agents served a state search warrant at the Organica Collective in Culver City, at the Overland Gardens Collective in West Los Angeles and at a home on Wednesday.
Drug Enforcement Administration spokesman Jose Martinez says agents from several agencies seized about 100 pounds of marijuana, about 200 live plants and about $100,000 in cash.
Martinez says the owner of the dispensaries, 50-year-old Jeffrey Joseph, was arrested at his home in Topanga Canyon.
He says agents shot a pit bull during the raid but the dog is expected to survive.
No further details were released.
It's almost like Obama pulled the trigger on the dog himself. Just Like Michael Vick.
