car update... my old man .. who hates to throw away anything btw, has had the car over at his place for some days and has looked at it and has found the oil leak. Its by the oil filter, not on the engine block, which means its going to be worth fixing it after all. Ill get help from the old man with fixing it luckily, he's got skill so i hope it will not take long.
Going to have to change the rear break discs, adjust the headlight settings and the leak. After that she will be good to go. No major operation or damage which is good. Ive been calling on loads of different cars. Its a sellers market for cheap cars atm it seems, not much to choose from thats not a complete heap of shit. One bargain deal was snatched right before me today, i had a deal about looking at a car today but he sent me a txt this morning saying the car had been sold.
I guess its just as well, ill get "more" car for a cheaper prize by fixing the one i already have, downside is that i will have to do without it for another week or two probably. Ill borrow one for this weekend, ill prolly spend the day working on the car with pops and then go out to finish prepping the spots in the night hehe. But ill prolly be without again in the weekdays next week.

I put some dieselryders by SF and some shortstuffs and some NYCDXAK47XBR in soil on june 15th by the way, im thinking 14 days of vegging under 600W... they should just about start flowering after 2 weeks .. so im thinking ill plant them out on july 1st and hope to harvest in late august or early sept.
I may opt to put these in pots outside, im thinking i may dig the pots down into the ground, or maybe use growbags and dig the growbags into the ground. That way, if there are some late finishers, i can move them indoors if needed.
Last year we had a very cold and rainy june like we have now, but we had a very nice and warm august and september, the nice, warm summerweather dont really kick in here until after midsummer .. june 20-25th or so im guessing. Im hoping and guessing that this years summer will be similar to last years where we get a nice autumn. This shitty, rainy weather we are getting now in june is slightly worrysome, but quite normal and im keeping my cool about it.
Ill not be setting anything out until we are seeing temps over 15 degrees.

Im dieing to get stuff done, but all i can do is sit here and surf the web until this weekend when we can get some work done on the car. If you don't plant on a spot where such big animals can get too, I think it's pretty much like bingo. That's why you have to have numerous spots.... he he. I have already had plants eaten by deer.
I think they have both elk and moose in North America. Moose is a separate species than elk I think.Much bigger. We only have Elk here in Europe.

I'm no mecanic, but changing brake discs i could have helped you with. I was quite proud of myself when I changed them on my car a year ago.

Yes. Same with me. I've never been to Amsterdam, but I've travelled around great parts of North America and Asia. Was very liberating for me aswell. I know in my heart that I'm not harming anyone with my growing or smoking, so I do it. It gives me great joy, and this joy I pass on to others, and then that joyufullness is spreading and spreading and spreading..... ha ha. I'm so full of shit, but not really. I mean it. If we were paranoid we would never be sharing all the info we are here.....

there is no deer in that valley, but alot of elk it seems. i suppose the elk likes the weed aswell. The valley is quite wide, so getting up to where the mountainsides are so steep that animals dont pass may be too long of a walk. Ill have to check that again next time im out there.

the old man is great in these situations indeed. after having talked to him again btw, he has been online and found a vehicle for me. Good value for money and seemingly in a good condition. Im uncertain what it will boil down to, ill head over there for dinner today or tomorrow. I hope that ill be omw to pick up the car first thing on Monday.hmm not sure exactly, i think i read about someone having lost some plants.

i dont think they would have minded the cold, but its cold and raining at the same time. I think ill give them another week to get alittle bigger, the stem is quite weak still on them. They stretched abit during the first week because i couldnt put up the lights for them.
I put 3 superautos outside in the sun yesterday, it was like 14 degrees and sunny yesterday, i left them out for 12 hours. Towards the evening it got colder and started raining. they were out in the rain for a couple of hours i think. when i took them in i noticed that they had suffered some damage, the leaves had curled up and there is some miscoloration. One of them looks abit shabby tbh, i think it was the nirvana sky.
I dont know whether its because of light shock or because of the cold rain. I
ts like 7-10 degrees and rainy today, continuously coming in cold moist air from the west and it doesnt seem to want to stop quite yet. Forecast says we will have to endure another week of this.
ill let them strenghten the stem alittle more because they are alittle thin and stretchy imo and ill ween them over to colder temps. I dont think they are growing fast enough, but i guess thats my impatience mostly, maybe alittle due to the lack of light in the start. They arent very big at all, i have 15 new ones coming out of soil today also btw, last second spur of the moment thing i decided to throw some more in soil. .. we will see we will see..

Oh, the reason why the ppp looks so messed up is because it suddenly started to drink alot of water. I came to water it after a couple of days absence, and the plant looked dead. Soil was bone dry. It looks revived now though, but the lower fan leaves took a hell of a beating.
I have put it in its final home now. A 12 litre bucket.

lets elaborate on the quarts clock thingy, i ve done some trapping for a certain amount of time while up in lapland and the thing i found out is that moose and also arctic hare as well as reindeer are beeing gifted with an exellent set of ears and are not willing to come near anything that sounds weird. hence my simple trick is to hide some AA battery operated quartsclocks in the vicinity of my grow op thats beeing protected from corrosion in a metal container thats beeing sealed off with electriciens tape.

Its no biggie btw if it takes abit of a beating during the veg phase, it will recover, those lower fanleaves are not that important as they will bush out more and new leaves will eat that light. Trying to maintain a good leaf canopy is important for good yield tho imo. I trim some of the fan's around the time when i initiate final flush to allow more light to penetrate deeper into the plant for alittle boost in trich production in the end.

ok car issue finally resolved. Im flying to get a car down south tomorrow, the deal is made, the insurance is ordered, the plain tickets are ordered and paid for.
I bargained the price down a couple of thousand, im pretty happy about myself right now hehehe. When i told the guy my fathers side is from Molde, he yielded the final thousand i wanted him to cut hahaha. I think ive made a bargain tbfh. Its a bit to personal to reveal spesifics regarding the car i think, but atleast until i get to see the thing im pretty happy about the price.
looks like i just bought a car, i hope it holds all the way home hahaha its a long way to go get a cheap car, but i figured i dont mind leaving this shit weather for a couple of days. Its going to be a 24hour drive home lolol. I guess that says something about the distances we have hereabouts.
Anyway, tomorrow around midday ill be back on wheels.

I encountered a Sami guy from Kautokeino once. He flew to Oslo to buy a new car, but couldn't stand South Norway or the citys, so he drove back nonstop. Took him 28 hours.

the car broke down... TWICE!!!! on the way home HAHAHAHAHA

First it was the water pump, that took 2 days in a shop to fix.. then the "kardang".. i have no idea what "kardang" is in English... but that happened naturally on a friday.. so it took until the following tuesday to fix. Which was yesterday, i just drove 1000 km in a stretch, 14 hours.
it cost me as much to fix the car as i paid for it in the first place lmao, luckily i convinced the seller that he did not need a severely pissed off polar viking camping his yard this summer so he agreed to pay for half the repair cost.
End of the day, ive got a good car now... oh and if that wasnt enough, during the last weekend i naturally got food poisoned from some bad bbq hotdogs i bought at a camping place. So i spend the last 2 days puking my guts out. Had to drive the 1000 kilometers completely dehydrated and unable to keep any food down.
what did i learn from this..
1: never buy ANYTHING in Bergen, those bastards invented huzzling. Im not kidding! They did!!
2: Never EVER buy a used car from a ginger from Bergen!!!!!

ill be a happy man hehehe Dude, let me tell you i had some moments where i considered burning a small village on the Norwegian west coast, just to make a point! I got so pissed that i could almost feel my beard growing at times lolol I was walking around with a hoodie that said "Violent" across the chest.. not having shaved or eaten properly in days i was looking like a raving lunatic let me tell you. When the guys at the second place the car broke down saw me in RL they started running around the shop. On the phone i was getting kind of a "hey relax attitude" at first. Good thing about Norway tho is that everyone in the country respects some good oldfashioned north Norwegian glossary, which by the way is a pretty plentyful dialect when it comes to expressing how pissed off one is... Many a times on this trip have i blessed the ancestors for the gift of the gab.
I had been standing outside the shop vomiting for a good 15 minutes before entering... blood shot eyes, dehydrated and starving... not having shaved in over a week and it had been 2 days since i ran out of clean tshirts, boxers and WEED!!!, i had showered but was drenched in sweat from the puking and stinking quite severely tbh. I also had a fly rod in one of those aluminum tubes in my hand that i was walking around with.. bout a meter long

Good things from the trip is that there is hardly any better place to have your car break down then along the Norwegian coast on midsummers eve. There is not a spot on that 1000 kilometer drive that cannot be put on a postcard. Its one of the most scenic places on the earth, the whole coastline is picture perfect. And its real cheap to live once you get 10 minutes off the europaway.
And the weather was fantastic for once. I got myself a nice tan, meanwhile the weather back home was awful, it changed to warm and sunny today when i got home so that was a bonus.
just downloading the pics now btw, seems they are alittle out of focus as usual lolol..
