i know that you can bury a growing tip of a raspberry cane, & it will shed its leaves & turn into a root; THEN the root will send up a growing cane that sprouts leaves etc. technically, it IS just one plant-all interconnected. have never heard of digging up a root unless i was mad at it, LOL!

i have the may high times right here and i didnt see anything about that anywear just a bunch of the usual advice ie light movers shallow bags getting soil to work for you lst and all that jargin but nothing about roots comming out of the bags and forming leafs.... im pretty sure i woulda noticed that sort of statement

I just read the article and your right. The grower is using 10 gal "bags". There is no mention of 50/60 oz or beating state limits.

If you've seen TomHill style grows you know they're pulling up to 6 pounds off one plant. 6 x 16 = 96 ounces one plant. Check the outdoor forum.

And a six pound plant is a small one for people like tom hill and butte and others... i believe i read in another thread that Tom's biggest plant ever was 12 pounds and some odd ounces... about the roots making stems well thats impossible so yea thats that haha

I've seen 250+ ounce plants before that had branches on the ground with huge root systems growing off the branches into the ground, if you wanted you could cut the brach from the main plant and it would live......People are getting pretty big balls here in Northern Cali..I'll bet money in the next few years someone will post up pics of a 25 pounder.

I get 50-60 ounces from a plant. I dont know about my current sativa, it may be less, its hard for me to tell, but it will still be good. In my sig.
