I agree with you brain for Feminised Hype and so loose of genetique background and more not even evaluate today.
But personnaly I have made female seeds by accident with few balls and I'm happy to grow only female for managing my production ! no suprises ! all females ! good thing sometime...when you want fast results.

All in All the female seeds are 2x more expansives than standard so Why I'll buy them ? for being lucky to have no mâle ? I love good Mâle strain selected because I love breeding ! Where I join Brain !

The problem is that so many breeders finally went to feminised that it has been accepted by a lot of newcomers in the cannabis growing.

And I agree with the idea being un-acceptable to stress a plant in order to force her doing something un-natural.

And upon this just think about the same thing on human beings...reproducing yourself with your own...what a poor genetic blend in the end!

Reproduction has to be made by two different being of an opposite sex, no other way.
