Snype - I was originally looking for the majority of the trichs being cloudy, but I feel like I would really be hurting myself on the harvest by doing that... if you look at the macros from day 40 you can see there's at least 5% amber there... hard to get a solid estimate though. I will be harvesting at 59 days, and when I do I will be getting detailed macros from each pheno and reporting the trich makeup.

TopShelf - I came back from a 1 year hiatus to find mosca and a couple other breeders selling C99... and many other breeders selling lots of crosses. I wasn't interested in the crosses... I wanted the best expression of C99 I could find... evlme2's grow, along with a few other members, led me to believe mosca's BX-1 was my best bet... I think it was the right choice.

generalgrievous - I have no doubt this will be some of the finest bud I've ever smoked, and also that it will be by far the best I have ever grown.... I'll be going 59 days this time, but I will most definitely be trying multiple harvest times down the road... definitely @ 45 and 52 days, and I'll go from there... I can't wait to make my first attempt at joining the century club with some nicely cured C99.


The flush starts on Monday, and will be going for two weeks... I'll be getting some more detailed pics uploaded in a few days. Thanks for checking in everyone!

59 days that was about the time frame for my WWs. After watching your grow I'm going to have to order some Masca C99 I would like a good sativa.
I picked up a box of the Troph Blumats a shop in town was closing them out and I picked up the last box for $50

Absolutely no idea... this is my first grow with a 400w, and first C99 grow. The uneven canopy, 15-20 degree day/night differential, late start to bloom nutes, and no runoff will all take away from what it could've been, but I'll have some numbers in a couple more weeks.

I've got my eye on the pineapple pheno and the stretchiest pheno... might keep both of those, the smoke will determine it though.

This has been a zero runoff grow until this point. They have received water only for the past week, and I'm going to run a few gallons through them on Monday, and continue giving them just water for one more week.

I'm really looking forward to curing this... I have a habit of overdrying that will be corrected this time.

Did you get some of those hygrometer's? I am going to pick some up for this round and give it a try! I would rather over dry than get mold...but I want the perfect cure. It is hard to dry and cure sometimes temps and environment are different and drying time varies. Those should work great! How are your Trichs looking?

I know you do not drip to run off, neither am I...but I ordered some Drip Clean. The top of my BCuzz coco is showing a little salt build up look. So for 20 bucks delivered, that Drip Clean should prevent any salt build up. The GH Green Bricks and Smart Pots are not showing salts...but I am going to use the Drip Clean just to be safe.

You still switching to DWC after this Grow?

I got the caliber III temp/RH meters. A thread is around here on them somewhere by our good friend simon I believe. Picked up 2 off amazon and couldn't be happier. I get my bud right to the perfect moisture and let them sit. I can throw a meter in there every once and a while just to check RH after they are dialed in, but they seem to sit fine right around 60-62 and the smells get better every day...

I just took down my C99 a few days back and am getting ready to jar them up. My other C99 has been curing for almost 2 months now...

slowandeasy - Drip Clean will probably only help your situation, if I do a grow like this again (blumats + no runoff) I will definitely invest in a bottle. I am still undecided on my next grow... it'll either be DWC or a test of several different mediums/containers.

johnny butt - Yeah, I've read over simon's thread several times. I haven't ordered them yet but I'll be making the purchase soon.

I personally think that you only need 1 of those hygrometers. They seem to show the humidity rather quickly and I've been using 1 for several jars with no problems.

The one thing I do do different is let them slow dry in paper sacks once the buds themselves feel dry but the stems are noticably moist. Then I manicure them a tad more then into a paper sack for a couple days which slowly lets them dry, then to the jars with the hygrometer.

The end is near Grn! I'm also a big fan of the paper bag technique once the outside of the buds are dry but that post in your signature seems pretty tight too. Once I take them out of the paper bags, I put them in jars like this and I can fit over a pound it each jar.

lol you could fit that cat in that jar. How big is it? I just picked up a case of wide mouth half gallon jars, it's definitely way more than I'll need this round, but should last me quite a while. Once I get a sizeable amount stocked up I think I'll invest in a vacuum sealer.

I'm not sure of the size. That's the biggest one I could find but I have all different sizes. The wide mouths are dope, I have hundreds of them and the vacuum sealer is a must. I have the one for wide mouth jars. I cure my weed and can freeze it for 10 years and it's just as good as when it went in. Shit is off the hook. It's good cause you can freeze small amounts and only pull out what you need. Once you take a jar out of the freezer, you don't want to freeze it again.

What do you use for a vacuum sealer? I've looked at several, and none of them really stuck out from the rest as being better.
