Ladies look fantastic, frank. Real sweet garden ya got going. Add me to the chorus on the ChemxNL's tho I'm very intrigued by the BBxBB as well.

Interesting that you mentioned the molasses & leaf curl... same thing happened to me w/some very light feeding N varieties. Forced me into running two buckets for teas to keep them all happy.

And see...this was my concern in the first place. It wasn't that molasses is the culprit, rather the increase micro activity in the soil making more things available and the plants increased uptake....my thoughts as to why I see such things anyway...

I tell you...Phillthy makes me believe that EVERYONE overfeeds.

lol....I won't go THAT far....

But he is going to test some of my nutrient mix for me to see how his garden responds to it. If his plants don't come out 10x better (is that possible??!!) then I'll simply give it all up and play follow his lead...hehehehehe....lol....j/k

interesting, i never thought about it like that...I know Philthy got mad skillz, can't stay outta his gallery, lol

i will do some experimenting this nexst round meself, and let you know what i discover...this is fun tehe....don't take this the wrong way frank...but i like bustin yer balls about thhis stuff, haha...again this is not a come-on, LOL, but i can learn alot from you guys.

btw i don't know hardly anything about them #'s and stuff, thats why i stick to the low #'s cause i figure i can't mess things up if the mix isn't strong/hot.

well, I don't mind you coming in here and keeping me on my toes. If all I ever get is a pat on the back, these threads become kinda useless for my own growth as a grower as well. I state the mistakes and issues I see apparent in a picture, hoping someone else can tell me something more that I am not seeing...

It is all about learning and growth and getting better and improving the quality and consistency of medicine...

Looking real good buddy. I'm guessing the BB are about to smell like some sort of cotton candy. @ 56 days they should be absolutely irresistible. Thanks for posting some pics.

Thanks for coming through....I'm definitely excited about them. Most resinous plants in the garden right now, and that is high praise considering they are sitting next to a Chem D out cross...lol.

Right now (mostly I blame molasses) she has gotten that sickly sweet semi rotten meat smell to her. I know it is going to soften up and become much more complex and berry...ya can just tell...

Thanks for the kinds words! ;)

They really don't smell much at all considering...of course when they get moved around they really let ya know they are there. But yeah, for the most part, aside from the molasses application, they were just kind of a sweet cotton candy may be a very fair description...but mostly just that sweet sickly smell of impending DANK....hehehehe

Hey Lean....yes, you got it!

I really think I'm going to let those get big and bushy...probably top and tie down...but, they don't seem very slow growing at all...I might just keep 'em single cola, what do you think? I mean in all honesty, I need to time things a bit differently this time around...

With that being the case, I really need to get on it. I need to transplant now (PBT, K-Rom, Heri x DC) let them sit for a week, and then get them into flowering or else I'm going to have the same problem of growing plants too big for the space they are in and the wattage they are under...gotta get things back under control this time around. Once these hit flower, it will be the 3rd run in this space. I should have it figured out now, right?
hahahaa...I can only hope...

OH YEAH...

I need to mention. The Chem D side by side is canceled. I still have the one Chem D in the larger Air Pot, and I think the game plan at this point, is to bush her out and make her a proud mommy. The one in the 2 gal pot is now sitting else where in nature. When I removed her from the pot, she had a fair amount of roots that had already hit the bottom of the container. Large, thick, bright white roots...so, I think she is thriving...hehehee....

But this is not over...I am doing something DIFFERENT to compare the growth rates of these pots. They also make a much smaller container called an "air cell". These are supposed to be for small cuttings or starting plants. They hold 1L of medium and I've heard claims of supporting the same amount of growth as a standard 1g nursery container. If that is the case and true, then we have a miracle pot for SOG gardens. Since a traditional SOG is 4 plants per square foot, the pot required is a 6" x 6" square pot, which holds approximately 3.4L of medium. However, using 1/3 the medium and a possible placement of 5 per square foot, we really might have to re-evaluate and dig back into a classic SOG garden.

So the plan now is to run a side by side, same cut, 2 in Air Cells and 2 in a standard 6" square pot....sorry for the delay...but this will just be a much more real world application for me....

Frank, I'd definitely tie them down and bush them out. I've only run one, but I think they would yield like crazy!! I got a ton of smoke from the plant I ran. It was about five feet tall in a 2 gallon bag of coco.
