Small caregivers will be subject to Clendenin-level restrictions and can only charge for cost of goods and additional "services".

"Clendenin-level restrictions". Pardon my ignorance...but what does Clendenin mean?

I think I got that once on a trip just South of the border.

A quick shot from the doctor, and I was back knitting sweaters for my kitties in no time.

What about a caregiver "Consulting" on multiple grows?

Nope, you are not supposed to work together. The whole no co-oping this is such shit. Don't we as Americans have a right to organize? What will they tell us next, that we can't medicate collectively either? If 5 or more patients are passing around a doobie, you have to have a off-site consumption permit for that, too? Geez!@#$

So...will we get an opportunity to vote it down come November? I thought I read B. Vicente was going to try to get something on the ballot. Where does that whole thing stand?

And what about the threats of injunctions from the Corry's?

Just so I know that I understand this correctly.

I can have myself plus caregive for 5 patients for a total of 36 plants (18 veg/18 flower) and be within the personal caregiver allotment. Or can I have myself plus 4 patients for a total of 30 plants to be within the allotment?

My recommendation for anybody struggling to understand the guidelines of the law, have a sit down with an atty. It is well worth the money. We had a sit down with one of the MMJ atty's in the state and we were able to ask all of our questions and he talked with us for like 3 hours and we only paid an hour consultation fee. Now with the 1284 we are going to have another sit down. I gotta make sure everything is legit, I cant work any other way...

The black market is going to be saturated as fuck. Independant growers were supplying 75% of the product in dispensaries, if they think everyone who is growing now who's already invested in grow equip is just going to stop they're higher than we are. Prices will drop in the black market and will go up on the legal side with an inferior product, card renewals will cease to exist except for a very few. Maybe that would be a good thing because personally I wouldnt mind seeing every greedy ass dispensary go broke after this. Caregivers will ALWAYS be able to provide a better product at a cheaper price than a dispensary, dispensaries know this and came up with this bill to put us under.

hey bro, you as a patient may care give for 5 others plus yourself. if you do not have a center in your town, you can grow for 16 patients.

here we have a huge retirement community, centers will be banned here right off the bat, can almost guarantee that. so where good here.

looks like there gonna get what they wanted, lotta centers go down due to havein to grow 70% of there own product, and the fees eliminate a bunch more.

its all about the money, and i can say you will see lots of big money guys lettin loose of the cash.

there are plenty of guys with money that get a big woody tellin there golfin buddies there invested in the MMJ scene. these guys lose 500k in the market and shrug it off.

the MMJ scene is the hot new place to put your money, believe me peeps, im seein it daily. lots of whales wantin in. this past week when the market tanked, the phone was ringin.

if you dont think the money guys have a clue, your sadly mistaken. they just been sittin tight till the law is passed.

im with MrDank, hold on to your treasures,

CBF

Page 53 section (e) allows for more plants with confirmation from physician.

The fees are not set yet and will be decided over the next few months. They might be flat they might be graded. I hope they are graded, ie: 0-300 = $3,000; 300-3,000 = $7,500; 3,000 and up = $15,000. Please note I made these numbers up.

People v Clendenin, 06CR1758, is our only med mj appellate case. Generally requires wellness services and having met the patient in order to qualify for the caregiver affirmative defense. It is what made the caregiver to caregiver exchange an issue.

So if you live in a place that doesn't allow dispensaries, you can be a caregiver for 16 patients?

Aurora never sounded so good:confused:

or if your grow location is in a place that doesn't allow dispensaries you can have 16 patients?

trust me, the last thing I am going to allow to see happen to my patients is paying $65/eighth for shitty hydro. I would feel better breaking the law than watching sick patients get raped by the big dogs

warren - what was the big party like last night? I am sure the 1284 celebration was quite a "bash":blowbubbles: Did the big dogs at least provide the party favors?

prepare to be regulated for sure. i don't think the regulators want to deal with the small growers, so i don't see much of a future in caregiving - unless your willing to submit to draconian regulation.

another little problem:
how many dispensaries are ready to legally grow 70% of their product in two months? and how many of those will have enough left over to help out another disp with the 30%? i have asked that question to five or six owners in the last several days - NONE and NONE! HA! we're gonna have a window of vulnerability here... unless the regulators enact a grace period, backward municipalities will have their chance to eliminate those little pot shops that they love to hate...

... so this turd goes to Ritter for his signature. i'm sure he will sign it as the local governments are wrung out over the issue and tired of dealing with it.
... and when Cali legalizes in Nov the whole medical thing will go into shock while organizers propose full legalization initatives all over the country. Prices plummet and even more chaos ensues. big pharma executes its comprehensive plans... reams of more! regulation, and an army of regulators...

FULL LEGALIZATION... no place for pollyannas.

wtf were we thinking? if it weren't for prison time, i would prefer it remained illegal... (paraphrasing) i'd rather be an endangered free man than a safe and secure slave.

whatever. i'm getting stoned now.

All the "Greedy ass dispensary's" are the one's profiting from this AND the one's who pushed this bill....>> JOSH STANLEY. yes that TOOL of peace in medicine/budding health. If I see that guy I will spit in his face and tell him to fuck off.
Might need to do some picketing at his dispensaries, talk to the people going in and tell them what a douche tool bag he really is. Please don't support this clown or any others like him.
BACK UNDERGROUND!
speaking of clowns and tools...where's Warren Edison Esq.

This f***** place, The Health Center on Colorado told a friend of mine the other day, they only pay 800 a qp. When he told them no.... owner laughed at him and told him he'd see him in two months begging for a job!

Lotus, Broadway wellness and Rocky mountain Organics are the same...

Arrogant owners who want cheap grower/labor... $10/hr is the going rate!!!!!!

We need to picket these places or something....
