i got the best lawer in canada, TRUST ME, a few weeks ago my lawer told me he had a client get caught with 3Kilo of coke, 10lbs of weed.....my lawer got him 6 months house arrest and 3 yrs probation, so i know my lawers really good so im not worried.....i got a friend who had the same lawer, he got caught driving drunk and alowed the cops to search his car, they foung a school bag with 1.5 lbs, scale, 50 speed, 100 extacy, 30 viagra, 4 oz of shrooms.....he got 2 years probation, thats it....so having a good lawer makes all the diff in the world....it ain cheap either, count your self on spending 20k a year, and thats without having any charges or going to court or anything, ... thats just to retain him as your legal representative.

thx for the kind words everyone...except strain hunter, hes been following me in diff threads and insulting me, but i do know he is just jealous and seems to think i have money problems, i believe that is why he keeps trolling

It doesn't work like that anymore.

Without getting technical here...The provider (Electricity Company) can see if more power is being "burned" than being sold.
There is a certain "loss margin" but these days it is very low.

Now you may be asking how do they know who is "borrowing" power w/o paying for it?

Very simple:

With today's technology the "area of loss" is being narrowed down "to the block" or by "so and so many users" if on the countryside/ a not so populated area.

Someone might be cutting in to the main feeding cable "somewhere" but that can and IS being narrowed down eventually.

Once a certain amount of loss is discovered it is just a question of time to find out who it is.

It is not about "if" - it is about "when".
Still better than the alternative of buying it and them knowing exactly where it's all going and sending the police in immediately. Other option is to move into a warehouse or industrial building where they use up power like that.

why do good threads always have trolls????????

why do good threads always have trolls????????

It seems like people always get all jealous and start hatin/trolling whenever someone posts a nice professional grow over 10k.

HAterZ really need to grow the fuck up... :snap out of it:

Stop for a minute and just think about the amount of hard work required to keep a grow of this scale running smoothly before you start hatin. Most people will never have the balls or the drive to do something like this so just STFU, watch and learn. :stfu::stfu::stfu::stfu::stfu::stfu: You don't know he's stealing power for a fact just making assumptions because it's a large scale grow so why not just leave it alone?

:respect:

Some of the problems with commercial buildings/warehouses are safety/fire inspections, cost of renting and having a good front/reason for renting...usually not worth the troubles unless you're doing 40-50 lights.

Hi Joe, i find your grow very interesting with your choice of hoods.

I wonder if they will fare better than bare bulb style. I Like the ac's too, that was a smart choice.

Are you running co2?

if so what ppm's and at what time during the flowering cycle are you running it?

Thanks

well i grow with a sog style, plants may not be 100% even but the canopy in general is even giving sog effect, that is why i chose to use hoods, and i chose these ones based on price(20$) and reflectability patern, batwing and reg square hoods give off the best light output and distribute it the most evenly, so imo i dont think i could have used bare bulbs, unless i was growing taller/less plants

as for co2 yes i run co2, this time i ran co2 for the whole grow from clone till now, and have noticed a nice little pattern that will save me some co2. basically i found that co2 during veg is not really nescessary, but the size of your plants makes a huge diff, the more foliage the more co2 will be consumed.

next run i plan to run co2 just during flowering, oh yeah and i run my co2 @ 1650 in one room and 1800 in the bigger room to compensate for the fact that my controller and tank is at one end of the room and i figure if the controller says 1800 ppm at this end then at the other it might be anywhere from 1400ppm and up.

Man I hate all this lecturing. I wish you people would have left it where it was asked to be left instead of poking around in another man's business that is not yours. Let's drop the hate, this guy knows whether he is or not stealing electricity, and he seems to know well the risks associated with both sides. This is what adults do. Make decisions that are right for them in their situation. For instance, if strapping on a pair of balls isn't what you choose to do, that is a decision you make for yourself and no one can blame you.

So no more lecturing, please. Let's get back on topic.

Did you get your Air Sponge yet? How's it working out?

thx bipotato,

so you remember the air sponge eh? lol nah i didnt get it because it was online buy only, i plan to get 2 70 pint dehueys one for each room and that should do it, but i plan to do this after i harvest as the sulfer burner has taken care of all PM and mould probs so i plan to let this harvest go (another week to 10 days) and then ill have more room to work around in and do a proper job without making a mess all over the buds, so far im real suprised that the rh hasnt been much more of a prob but im not taking ant chances next run

Here's the thing though, anyone who DOES steal power is being subsidized by every other customer of that power company. Just like shoplifting makes stores raise prices, power theft makes power companies raise rates.

Aside from being one of the things guys most commonly get busted for, power thieves are growing for damn near free, but do they reduce the price of their product? Do they give any of it to YOU for free for paying their power?

Power theft gives all growers a bad name, and costs us all money.

Leave the detective work to the detectives. Power companies & LEO have resources.

Just like Wal-Mart has anti-shoplifting personnel.

Some folks choose to play some games at the stakes they do and these people usually understand the risks involved.
